Description : This track is a collaboration with another Looperman member, Salve Clements, a very talented vocalist from Australia. Salve wrote the lyrics and composed and recorded the vocal melody and lyrics.
In working on the mix, I simply wasnt able to achieve a proper balance in the overall sound. So, I got some help from Wytse Gerichhausen of White Sea Studio in the Netherlands. He was able to fix the problems I had created and got it sounding the way I had hoped it would.

Description : The lyrics of the song describe the singer's personal experiences and emotions. It seems that from the beginning of his life he feels misunderstood and does not feel the fullness of life. He wants to achieve great goals and be like a mountain that soars high. However, swimming in a sea of uncertainty and fear makes him feel lost and immersed in loneliness. Despite the difficulties and lack of faith of the environment, he finally realizes that the future depends only on him and can shape it.

Description : This hymn, (also known as the Navy Hymn), was my wifes grandmothers favourite hymn. Wasnt familiar with it. The Wikipedia article had an arrangement which I used for this track. Harmony is not my work, but the orchestration is. Made the track more as an exercise in exploring harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration. I realize this is not anything close to the norm of tracks here on Looperman, but its always good to stir things up a bit, right?

Description : This is our first Song we finished together with my friend Mario. Its actually this song, that showed us, which kind of Music we fit in and we like to produce. We named it Ocean because at one point during production, we had the feeling beeing deep under the sea, because of the deep sample thats in the song. So we thought...why not call the song Ocean? :)
