Description : Imagine if you will looking at the Martian landscape. Strange terrain and colours. That's the idea behind this ad-lib tune with 2 synths adding string/pad/ backing and electric guitar adding a blues/rock lead.

Description : Its just me singing with my acousitic...i also had a shot for the first time at some harmonised backing vocals!

Let me know what you think guys!

Description : A sweet melody bound trancer with a pumpin bass and thumpin backing! And Radium X 's vocals just bring this track to life! (so glad i cam across em..)

Ok so here is my newest track which was previously called, 'SHE' Lots of ambient strings and nice melodies chucked in...Hope you guys enjoy it!!!

I was going to enlist the help of Aidanstrance however my internet went off the beginning of august...so I just decided to get on with it myself. I have spent a hell of a long time on this one trying to get better at mastering. I used that izotope ozone thingy and have found it is a great tool...Mastering was my achiles heel and I am quite proud of this track....

Description : Wrote this back in November 2007 when i was still listening to a bit of metal. Especially Godsmack. The ONEMB name is the name i released it under = one man band, i release only my electronic stuff under The Krakafaktri title.
All instruments played by myself including the vocals, which i'm not real proud of, especially the lyrics for want of a better word, but it was better than leaving it instrumental. I aint one for writing lyrics or stories ya dig! I aint much of a lead singer either, im better suited to backing vocals or stuff in my range capabilities. So bah!!! Anyway, Guitar was played through Steinberg's Warp VST, Delay from PSP84 VST with BT Phaser PH2s, Bass in NI's Guitar rig 2 & Drums were originally played by me on my Yamaha dtxpressII midi drum kit through NI's Battery 3, then edited further to make them tight, due to latency issues, they were not very tight too begin with. But you deal with that. Vocals through the Rode NT1-A through .....wait for it...Waves C1 gate, Nomad Factories Analouge Signiture Studio Channel, Lives compressor, Waves Doubler, Lives Simple Delay & finally ..Nomad Factories Liquid Delay.......now do you want fries with that? OK, so all in all, i think the production was not too bad for home made metal. Dig it or die!! ha ha ha!!! Don't take this track too seriously.

Description : This is my first time playing with sidechaining. I'm using a pretty basic sidechained compressor of a drum line (bass, bass/hat, snare) to a few synths. It definitely has a very interesting sound, which I would previously have assumed was just gating to match the drums (which, honestly, it pretty much is).

I've uploaded two loops of this backing sans-drums; if you want them, check my loops page.

This track is incomplete right now, but more updates will come.

Flute is from the depths of my free sample library and harmonica is Slap's. I'm thinking of playing with some light glitch beats, since the peaking of the main channels is starting to sound like a broken synth.

I really have no idea which way I'm going to take this song.

Description : Straight forward Blues on a Telecaster Guitar. I used the lipstick (neck) pickup a line 6 tone in Pod Farm that is a Jazz chorus emulation customized with spring reverb. No delays no effects outside mild chorus/spring reverb. Just Old School clean toned blues. There are 8 tracks(backing /fill) of guitar here.

Description : The title refers to a critique on Christianity I read in one of Dawkin's books. As our knowledge of the world increases, the things science can't yet explain (the places god is the only explanation) shrinks. This is why the Church tends to be anti-science, because it is effectively the enemy of a god of the gaps. I'm not trying to proselytize this particular viewpoint; I just thought it would be a cool name for a track [and it was on my mind when I first started writing it].

I'm using a chillout drum loop with mild slicing for the basic beat. The lull is a simple animated LP filter. I'm using a few biohazard channels (the ping sounding lead, the high pitched backing that changes sound, that intro effect), some sytrus strings (the strings, the other backing), a few FL Keys channels (the piano, detuned piano, detuned bassline), and, new to this version, a recording from my Roland EM-10.

I wrote it while on a road trip from Orlando to Denver (~30 hours in the car, and I only got to drive like five of them) and on a flight home from Denver > Houston > DC. I spent some time hiking in the mountains with the refrain stuck in my head, and most of the development came out of the echoes around my headspace. Colorado is a beautiful state.

Description : Awesome collab with my boy Jersey lol he killed it. He did the verses I did the chorus, backing vocals, mixed it, and made the beat. Let me know what you think about this track, For those who are wondering whether or not they can still lay down a verse on the Butterfly demo, you can. I could put a couple of verses down for a remix.

Description : Slap Johnson samples, guitar & vocal myself, lyrics my friend Julie M. Dant, backing track ???

Description : This is a collaboration between 4 of us producers at maketunes.com. There is Prea from Finland who made the instru portion. Teddy Brazello who did the backing to my hook and verse 1, and the mastering. Then there is King Dattoli on the 2nd verse. Straight up ...this is FIRE and will probably end up getting sold on the official maketunes.com mixtape currently underway. Enjoy this heat!

Description : How I felt a few nights after joining Gold's gym with my recently-back-from-Iraq-and-now-bigger-than-I-am marine brother.

Most of this song just sort of happened without much planning. The main backing is based off of six loops I made and uploaded here. I've since changed them around a lot and added some animation to their filters, but the basic sound is still pretty similar. They briefly take the lead, but they've been supplanted by FL Keys, Sytrus strings, and two more Toxic voices. I've started using the FL Love Filter a lot more, and I'm happy with the sounds it helps me achieve. It's a lot less hassle to set up a LFO highpass with it than trying to manually add one and animate it.

The drums are sliced/pitch changed/rearranged loops. I've added a few more samples to round out the sound, but I'm still not satisfied with my drops. Toms always sound so good when other people use them, but I haven't really gotten the hang of them.

Description : This track originally started of as a DnB track, but after playing around with the tempo, I realised it sounded quite cool slow, and it seems like a touch of rapping over the top would do wonders for it. So, it's up for grabs for anyone that wants to use it, as long as you credit me in your final production =D.
Peace.

Description : Some samples put together in Acid. Main backing track is a couple of Sonic Foundry FX guitars cut together to make a repeating figure in A with some atonal filigree. Very standard chord progs. Mostly acoustic instrument loops. Maybe some elves. Please, someone tell me what genre this is.

Description : Not very often do I work much with software instruments or audio that isn't real-time, but occasionally I enjoy dabbling with an idea here and there. This is one of those, from a fairly run-of-the-mill tune I wrote a few years ago as a college freshman (I don't have the complete track at the moment - I'll see if I can dig it up to post).

The organ part was extracted from a funk sample that I thought could be applied to sit behind the beat in a reggae rhythm. I wrote the song around that, and wove in other instrumentation, along with a synthesized drum machine part which underlies the acoustic drum tracks. This version lacks the horn parts and backing vocals (as well as the full-length of the song, since this is a shortened, unmastered sample I mixed for brevity's sake) of the later product, but it was a fun spur-of-the-moment idea.

Description : Dem 2 acoustic guitars again. A sort of folky/blues idea based on a descending arpeggio on the Em chord + added lead jam along. Kept it in the unplugged style as I could easily overcook it adding too much percussion/backing. ..if any of you guys have an idea to put to this track then feel free to add and let me know.

Description : Drunken thoughts; tripped out backing track by mr. E he called it gadgetscape ! "Different as Different does"

Tags : | Industrial | 7.48 MB

Description : A lose tribute to my own, kundilini awakening, a synthy, techno/industrial, metal song i finished about a month ago, one of my best works structurally, with lots of flow, groove, hook, a few backing harmonys rthym down beats percussion buildups, transitions ect.. 3:17 long

Tags : | Jazz | 3.06 MB

Description : This is a simple Jazz standard progression I made on piano with smatterings of blues and gospel, brought to life by the exceedingly talented father & son combo of SlapJohnson and Alexander Bone

It truly is amazing what these guys can do to a simple backing!

Tags : | Cinematic | 6.34 MB

Description : This definitely is a headphone listen... it's my epic sci-fi futuristic cinema track featuring Eshar's poem acapella. Within seconds of hearing Eshar's voice I immediately started imagining a film opening, a narration from the films hero, setting up a "save the world" type story. I uploaded the first 7 minutes (or looper edit), I'm still working on finishing the now 13 minute track.

Using multiple loop sounds, swells and feedback I made a moody pad type opening to really capture some mood in Eshar's reading. Then I wanted to pulse into a slow opening to try and draw you into the story then a little surprise break out and back into more mood. It's got a kind of dnb meets industrial vibe to it but still plays as a cinematic backing. Made with Sony loops and of course Eshar's very cool pella'. Hope you enjoy it, I like the way this one is looking. peace.

Description : This is my take on Louie Who??? which was created by BARACASA. I was listening to and reviewing some of her tracks and came across this one and really enjoyed it. In the description for the song is an invitation for other artists to make some magic happen. So that's what I tried to do. I was going for a Santana kind of thing, as the backing track seemed to have some of that element going on. Let us know what you think. Peace and Love, Six

Description : Made a backing track with my usual guitars/keyboard/drum samples and arranged on Magix 05. Then discovered a vocal sample that seemed to fit the verse. Only problem was the chorus vocals...so yours truly had a go!!! Hope it don't sound too bad. Thanks for listening :-)

Description : I've used the beautiful acapella vocals that EVRiMBee put on here, and I really REALLY hope I've done them justice with my backing track. It's a traditional Turkish song called "Uskudara Giderirken" but the backing track contains only what I normally use...guitar, strings n bass (on keyboard) and drums (sampled). All arranged on Magix 05.
A big thank you to EVRiMBee :)
