Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...Search Rating : 6.24

Description : This started out as hip hop but quickly turned into something much more beautiful, psychedelic and epic though I've still kept the hip hop drums plus added many others. There is a quite a lot of lead bass guitar, sometimes layered, which is partly why I'm dedicating it to Evisma as he loves a good bit of bass layering and has influenced me. Also: electric guitar, resonator guitar for the obligatory slide solo (you've got to have it - it's the law in NomadLand), big pads plus haunting granular synth choir voices, two very different types of programmed VST guitar, fat synth basses, a few drum loops and various programmed acoustic drum kits. There's some deep chill and funky grooves in this constantly changing journey of unravelling sonic mysteries though it gets much more uptempo and rocking in the second half. Interesting thoughts, reflections and ideas are always welcome in NomadLand. Warning: fat beats and deep psychedelic sounds ahead...Search Rating : 6.24
Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : This unconventional metal track is dedicated to Valvedriver https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/841435 though it's not a parody of his fine music or me actively trying to sound like it. I struggled for months with the first few minutes of this track knowing that I must be able to take it somewhere deeper, more psychedelic and powerful. Then I loaded some sampled choir voice instruments, as used in my track Reckful https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/160356 and suddenly found myself happily in Valveland - not a place I visit often. Feeling amply Valvedriven and newly inspired, I added the last few minutes fairly easily and very quickly. So: it's a twisting, turning mixture of grunge, menacing ambient, mystical metal and ultra-heavy funk. Instruments: electric guitar+bass, synth basses, female choir voices, one synth pad, some other synths on the nastier side of things and a few programmed heavy acoustic drumkits playing a mixture of triplets and straighter grooves. Interesting thoughts appreciated. Favourite bits? Shit bits? Please listen on good headphones/speakers as there's a lot of heavy bass in this. Now get ready to rock: balls out, hands in the air and with rebellious joy in your heart. Just try not to headbang the hell out of your laptop. Go!Search Rating : 6.24
Description : Yet another lengthy psychedelic epic by me, though I'd say they're all quite different. This one has more of a focus on electronic dance music and funk but is based around programmed acoustic drums, bass guitar and electric guitar. Also Rebirth 303 loops I made over ten years ago plus various synth leads, pads, basses, arps and glitch effects. Most of the bass is bass guitar and there's even some slap bass! Fairly uptempo but also chilled out though it builds and goes pretty heavy towards the end, featuring crazy lead distorted synth soloing backed up by some pumping guitar riffs and crashing metal drum kits. I do like this but it's not as good as its sister track Lord Of Misrule https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/146013. Let me know what you think, what you'd change etc. I hope you have a fun journey through this constantly shifting sonic landscape...Search Rating : 6.24

Description : Well, recently made a new track! I sang vocals on this one. It's kind of like techno or new wave or synth pop. The instrumentation is primarily hardware. The drums are from the Zoom RT-123, the basses are Zoom and Microkorg. The pads are from my Korg DW-6000. The keys are Casio HZ-600. The transition sounds are from the Eat Lead Copper modular synth. Just two virtual synths used on this one. I like how the last bridge vocals turned out. I think it turned out pretty good, but I'd like to hear your views! Thanks for listening! This track is included on the Spivkurl album "Labrynth Of Self".Search Rating : 6.24

Description : Far out mid-tempo fat beat deep chillout grooves with Eastern/Arabic and slightly menacing vibes, huge delayed synth bass and a great palette of psychedelic layered and intricate sounds (mostly synths) and a stirring, epic feel. Even has guitar solo section reminiscent of some 80s power rock which is then followed by a brief synth harp solo. I began making it straight after staying round the flat of the flute player from the legendary Ozric Tentacles - easily the greatest ever space rock band. I made this in about 2001 and still think it might be my best track (and it's nice and short, for a change). My production skills were much weaker in those days (no EQ, compression or mastering used here) but, somehow, this one turned out pretty much just right. Feel free to disagree. Now sit back and get ready to trip extremely far out. If you manage to return, let me know how that trip was...Search Rating : 6.24

Description : Is this Rock,Pop or somethin else? I"m not sure.I wanna thank Innstrumentalz, Eaproductions20 and Michael Gonzalez for their loops! The synth in the middle is me on Absynth 5.I used a cheap MXL ribbon mic ,an m-audio mobile pre, some T-Racks compression,Sonar reverb,eq,and gate on the Vox.I started the lyrics off of Instrentalz piano loop.Sorry but I couldn't find the creator of the guitar loop, they may no longer be a member. This is a work in progress,so its probably rough around the edges! - 12/13/10 redid opening vocals, added an intro, and some more synth.I still may tweak this,Let me know what ya think.Search Rating : 6.24
Description : OK so originally this track was just a guitar synth with some pads accompanying it. I've now added vocals, drums, bass and automation to this track, and got all the levels right within these past 24 hours for this dead project revival thing set up by Dungbeatl. This is still a very short track, but don't worry, I'm going to add more to it. This is just the beginning... man that line sounds so cheesy.Anyhow, sit back, relax and enjoy the track!
Vocals by me.
Track by me.
Drum samples from various image line packages.
VSTs used: DSK Techsynth (Guitar) Gladiator 2 (Pad) 3xosc (bass and vocodes)
UPDATE!: Completely remixed this track. Sounds WAY different from what it used to. Added more synth layers, pumped up the tempo, and just generally sounds better now. Kinda inspired by NickQ, so thanks for making good songs nick! :P

Description : This is a track which was influenced by the feel of coming off my antidepressant medication. Clarity is how I describe the feeling. My wife said the song is scary. I'm not sure if it's finished, and I'm open to any suggestions. Let me know what you think!____________
With Mix 2 I've added some variation and fills to the synth parts. I've updated the mastering slightly too. Let me know if you think this sounds better!
____________
With Mix 3 I added a new layer of lead synth for the later parts of the track. The break beats should be slightly more audible in the left channel too. I've also pulled down the lows and mids just slightly in the mastering. I think this song sounds pretty much done, hope to hear what you think!

Description : So this is kinda calm with little mystery track. But it have some high peaks as most of my tracks :)I like to do melodical tracks which can give some imagination activity. This track is of that kind also.
FL8
bell is cytrus. Used lots of cytrus. I changed the presets some. 12 cytrus instruments but some are play same time to make it like 1 instrument)
The cool plastic sound that flows through frequency(cut off+ resonanse)(in 2nd part where the drums go off) you wont believe is good old wasp! well 2 wasps with similar parametrs. They play same time, one at right ear second at left - to make good stereo.
Lots of Wasps and wasps XT(mostly for effects I use random for wasp often), few Symsunth.
Few loops from looperman. Hey I forgot who's. I did not read carefully at that time and wasn't know that lopperman is community with possible to post tracks... So if someone recognize his loop tell me!
Also I think the percussion loops is from other loops site. Maybe I found it through http://www.findsounds.com/
Also some drum kits used for make rhythm - hats and rides and tamburine(12 kits dunno where they all go but they go)
Also GTG 44S synth used. it's pretty OK synth, It's a worse than native pro53 but it's free soft.
Ahm, should I say I used to record automion to make some soft flow of some parametrs of synths? Well I did :)
OK. I hope you enjoy this one. It's probably also a chill-out but I put it to electronic cuz it have some certain melodies supposed not to just chill-out but some themed melody.

Description : Life's little ironies. This piece features the microKorg. Which I smoked. Literally. This tune precedes that event by about five years. Beware of 110V wall bugs in 220V outlets my friends, beware! I miss that synth alot. The way she and the SH-32 twiddled each other's knobs and punched one another's buttons was almost completely unpredictable. I lika the soft synth but I have yet to master it to the point that it can surprise me.Search Rating : 6.24
Description : This one is done up in Reaper and uses the Orca Bass Synth. I want to thank TravisHuckins for his posting in the message board about the VSTi Orca Synth. Also want to thank Rei for his posting mentioning "Reaper" (another DAW)..... Anyways, I originally started this in Music Maker and decided to start it from stratch all over again in Reaper. I don't have the chorus, nor any drums laid down on this one yet. The Chorus Section when I record it with Drums is Totally Nu-Metal sounding. I'm working toward fusing modern Nu-Metal along with styles found in music that Journey put out. Again, I don't have the bitchen Hard egde chorus section recorded yet.The synth tunes tracks and mixes listed here are copyright and may not be used in your projects. Saying that though many members are happy to work with other artists or allow others to remix their tracks.
