Description : UPDATED 12-5-16. An acoustic intro, leading into melodic piano leads with strings and woodwinds. Many layers of programmed midi drums and percussion loops. Some heavier riffage with an odd time signature, leading into something completely different. First track I've done in standard-ish tuning in years. Been distracted by various things and haven't been working on this steady. Thoughts, complaints, critiques, ideas and interesting short stories are always welcome. You can also say you liked it. That's cool, too,.... so long as you ain't bullshittin.Search Rating : 5.41

Description : A Dark Funk tune , with a touch of Nawlin's jazz funeral procession. Midi-sparks asked me to do a Halloween song for his competition, and so here it is!Search Rating : 5.41
Description : I created this track with the original intention of me singing on it, I played guitar and played the midi parts, I changed the drums to what they are and felt that rap vocals would be awesome on it. I found Kamoflage's Dash acapella, I restretched the vocals to 130bpm and they fit perfect. I did have to cut some of the original lyrics out to keep the track clean so that I can use it for an example in a class I am teaching. Check out some of Kamoflage's work on his page, he is really good.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : Intro hits hard. Heavy guitars and lots of different parts. Guitar, bass, 3 MIDI kits, a few loops, and a stretched outro that brings everything back down at the end. No synths, samples or anything not played by my fingers. Lots of quad-tracking heavy rhythm guitars. Peaks and valleys throughout, with a middle section that is very swampy in atmosphere. Over-driven bass guitars and cymbal-bells sprinkled hither and yon. Could add more,... could move on. I'm pretty happy with this one. Had to upload at 192. I invite your honest opinion and critique.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : Live electro with no midi at all...JX-3P sequencer (bass) clocked by Volca Beats (drums) and Alpha Juno-1 (chord). Enjoy the analog sounds!

Description : Intro is lap-steel guitar with a smooth stone pick, then the electric comes in. Used 5 different guitars in this one. Two basses, an electric, acoustic and lap-steel. Three programmed MIDI drum kits, a few drum loops, and a Zippo I've had for about 20 years. Had this one going for a while now. Life stuck it in and broke it off over the last two months. Plugged ears from a head cold, and a rather crazy flooding event kept this from receiving steady work-flow. My main bass guitar's electronics took a big shit on me as well, so the second half's bass guitar is my old P-bass that I really had to dress up. Anyway, enough excuses. Give this motherfucker a listen and share the love or hate. I like both equally.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : UPDATE 3/31/2016 - Did some work on the mix and master thanks to the advice of Crucethus and promenade2239. I knew something needed work, and it turned out I need some shifting in the time-space continuum. Thanks to everyone who commented so far!Original DESC - Yes, I admit it... I fall down. Different circumstances and results each time, but it does happen. Got some inspiration in the last week or two, and left behind some other responsibilities for a while to make this track. Did a considerable amount of multisampling of a Realistic C1000 to add to the song. This is the first song I've finished which uses my modified Korg Monotribe. Also contains Microkorg (on glitch percussion and vocoder use), Yamaha ys-200, Zoom RT-123, and my modular synth doing circuit bent voice synth duties. Psychedelic, dark cold wave. EDIT: Now that I think about it, there were no virtual synths involved in this composition, but only virtual samplers and effects. Everything else was MIDI and hardware sound source. Thank you for listening! Please leave a comment and I will return the favor!

Description : Real guitars and basses played by me. A short, yet tasty bit of MIDI piano and cello with about 7 programmed drum kits and a few drum loops. It's really a metric shit-ton of layered guitars and different textures. This track, sadly, is also a "Goodbye" to my little Acoustic 3/4 Fender Squier. I've been serving as a pawn-shop for my sister-in-law for about 4 years. Not a guitar you'd seek out, but it's been a friend and has been in most of my tracks. The bright side is, I will be replacing it with something better, and full sized. Acoustic guitar suggestions are as welcome as track comments!Search Rating : 5.41
Description : I really liked the melody I came up with just messing around on my midi keyboard one day. never thought I would build a whole song out of it.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : I recently acquired a lap-steel guitar, and this track is it's wobbly-legged introduction to the world. Intro is all lap-steel, with two later lap-steel leads. All real acoustic/electric/bass guitars. I recorded my new frog guiros as well. One in the intro as a woodblock, and both played traditionally later in a bridge. Drums are seven programmed MIDI kits and a loop or two. Chorus has the heaviest guitars I've done. Random percussion and echoing delays galore. Your honest opinion is appreciated, and gets you a coupon for 8 free deep-tissue nipple-rubs, and a full internal body waxing. Act fast!Search Rating : 5.41
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing. This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.

Description : Hello, this is one of my rare experimental track made to honor some friends who play the same video game. Also, Evil horn started to grow on my head after making The Grim Reaper industrial metal song. So that one is slower, softer, ambient, and its a friendly battle Piano against Violin who both won at end. The concept is the Piano start to play some notes them the Violinrepeat. Finally I did record myself playing on my midi controller for the Piano notes.im so proud of the result :)

Description : I had a dream a few years ago that my Mom was still alive and she met my wife for the first time. This song is about that dream. This should be classed as Country Rock or Southern Rock but those genres aren't available.
Using a fender Strat on the left, Gibson Les Paul on the right…intro lead is the LP and outro lead is the Strat. Drums written in MIDI. Harmonica, vocals, bass performed by yours truly.
Feedback is always welcome.

This song features the voice of Stacy Robinson: https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/1042109This is a dark track, inspired by the sound of one of my all time favorite bands (I won't tell you the name, but I imagine it is easy to guess). As usual, guitars, bass and keys played by MrWolf. Drums are midi (EZDrum - Metal Machine kit).

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : Im new here and just thought i would get some feedback on this. Ive been working on this for a while and have finally got a sound im happy with.Everything is raw except the midi pimp leads at the end. Dont mind the drums, some parts are way out of wack. But i tracked them just to get the idea down. Im going to re-track them in a couple of days. Any criticism is appreciated!Search Rating : 5.41
Description : A groovy little jazz/funk number with a tad of retro feel and lots of instrumentation. I am waiting on Midi-man James' guitar ride, so will update the new version when he sends it. Hope you like and feel free to download if you wish.Search Rating : 5.41
Description : This is a classically inspired piece I wrote in Logic Pro all using MIDI voicing's and no loops.I have always loved Mozart's work and it inspired me.
I composed this in February of this year after I hit my left fingers with a table saw blade - healed now. There was a lot of emotion involved when I did this.
