Hey Mark, the lyrics are awesome on this track. The vocals are nice and clear, I think the background vocals really add to the track. Good job on this as always, its a very cool track.

Very interesting track. I love the electric guitar. I'm not sure if there are some parts that are clipping or if it's the distortion but I notice some buzz. The voice sounds great - bigger than life. I enjoy listening to the vocals. What plugin do you use for your vocal? Well put together song. Good work!

Escape From Reality

When I grow weary
I can let my mind depart
Sacrifice some reality
Perceptibility has this dependency

I take time to clear my eyes
Delete the garbage from my mind
Get back with the real me
I shouldn't be very hard to find

Take an escape from reality
A mini vacation from my mind
Take a ride along a dirt road
Turn up my favorite song real loud
Kick up some dust in four wheel drive

Keep going with a full head
Gonna watch it all
Implode upon itself
The cache's full reboot my mind
Get back with the real me
I shouldn't be very hard to find

Chin up and take it real slow
'Cause, if I take it fast
I know it's gonna blow
Eagerness can sometimes
Stray my mind

I take time to clear my eyes
Delete the garbage from my mind
Get back with the real me
I shouldn't be very hard to find

Take a walk, or meditate
No matter what your game, try
Not to make it wait
In undue time, you're better off

It's easier to switch to high gear
If you're gonna rest it for aspell
Or it will wear upon your mind

Take an escape from reality
A mini vacation from my mind

Get back with the real me
I shouldn't be very hard to find

2015 Ratcliffe.

Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).

This instrumental features no guitars or regular drums. Rhythm here is provided by a Dulcimer, a Shaker and a drum like instrument called a Djembe. (An instrument from Africa, looking like a tall Bongo drum)

An acoustic stand-up Bass is used along with a 4 string Banjo, and the Fiddle is the main instrument.
Put all these together and this is the sound you can have. Hope you'll like it.

Description : Hi ya,

Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.

The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.

Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.

Hope you like it.

Description : I had a dream a few years ago that my Mom was still alive and she met my wife for the first time. This song is about that dream.
This should be classed as Country Rock or Southern Rock but those genres aren't available.
Using a fender Strat on the left, Gibson Les Paul on the right…intro lead is the LP and outro lead is the Strat. Drums written in MIDI. Harmonica, vocals, bass performed by yours truly.
Feedback is always welcome.

I am playing all instruments except for the drums....they are MIDI.
The song allowed me the opportunity to try my son-in-laws 1981 Gibson J40 acoustic, my new Dean Resonator Guitar and my new harmonica.
I hope you enjoy.

Description : This is the best backing track I could come up with for my Country (?) lyrics. It has taken 4 years (off & on)to come up with a finished tune. I tried to get someone else to sing it to no avail, so I did it. I misplaced the audio file s I don't know if any Looperman folks loops are in it.

Description : This collab is with the OCR Boys, (Bobby & Steve), DJ's at KickinCountry101.com. I got the bass, acoustic tracks and drums and Bobbys vocals. I dusted off the harmonica, brought out the oldFender Strat, the pedal steel and the midi-guitar for the fiddle parts for this one. Not my usual fare but I had been in a few country bands back when country was cool in the 90's. A great Nashville sounding song about growing up on the great Tennessee River.Comments always welcome. - Bilbozo
