Description : Everything awaits...Found a bass rig that i had fun with as a start. Created a combined synth rack for the string pads and added som electronic fx from a couple of synths. Visited looperman in search of a vocal track, found a track from Blunierty titled "keep on rollin" which contained a phrase that caught my attention and later also become the title of this track. Added drum loops and added a layer of supporting drum beats, high hats and crash cymbals. Created a lead synth track that was ok in this context. I spent a couple of hours mixing and the result is ready for your ears.Search Rating : 7.23

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...Search Rating : 7.23
Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).Search Rating : 7.23
Description : This song is a bit of a fusion between Rock, Techno with an Angry Emo Edge to it. It's about coming to the realization that the other person in a failed relationation was never there for you at all.Search Rating : 7.07
Description : An 80BPM psychedelic, chillout, deep groove electric cello spectacular. It mostly consists of multiple layers of my heavily edited cello playing techniques (harmonics, pizzicato, bowing, tremoloing and a little spiccato) plus drums. Other instruments: bass guitar, 8 bars of electric guitar, Fender Rhodes, a trancey synth, one occasional bass synth and a processed chimey guitar synth. It's fairly minimal instrumentation for me as this is all about my cello explorations as I learn how to play the instrument and what sort of sounds I can get out of it. Drums are programmed hip hop and hard rock kits (2 of each), plus some fun glitch processing on one kit in a middle section. No drum loops. This was quite difficult to make and I've had to show real restraint in not making it longer and not adding any guitar in the rocking last 2 minutes. That just seemed too predictable so I chose not to do it at all. Shimmering, high, bowed, funky cello all the way instead! Have a listen and leave me some interesting thoughts and/or suggestions.Search Rating : 7.07
Description : One of my greatest heavy tracks. What I find unusual is the amount of melodic and deep ambient guitar that sits on top of low, distorted riffs and fat, heavy drums. Very little synth work here apart from the sub bass, which plays almost throughout. Bass guitar in two sections and a couple of slide resonator guitar solos. Drums are a few programmed metal/rock kits, no drum loops. What I still have trouble believing and understanding is that all of the many vocal sounds in this are actually timestretched guitar parts (8x or 800% slower). I don't know why the timestretching adds such a clear vocal component to the sound. Gets darker and more intense in the middle (and towards the end) but this is otherwise quite melodic - perhaps in a way that might put off some metallers. Shitloads of guitar playing, some fairly badass, and lots of heavy, crashing drums so press play if you want to rock hard but also in a deep ambient, psychedelic way. Interesting thoughts and reflections are, as always, greatly appreciated. Detailed comments preferred...Search Rating : 7.04
Description : rough little nugget spinning around and around before it leaves our orbit - 3 guitar synth programs, including SFZ mute guitar and slap bass + SFZ rhodes, Akai drum kit and one drum sample (manipulated) with some lazy and very rough electric guitar playing that I should really redo but then like our second moon its not 'hear' for long ; ) Hopefully someone enjoys itSearch Rating : 7.04
Description : Deep grooving, slightly psychedelic cello grunge. There's no guitar but there is loads of electric cello, all played by me. The only other instruments are a violin VST, 5 seconds of Rhodes, a fat organ, a few programmed acoustic drum kits and no drum loops. No bass instruments but I do sometimes use an octave effect on cello parts to give a fatter low end. Starts off with some cool, smooth basslines and a funky little beat and then gets a lot more badass. End section is a real dirty rockin' surprise but it's only one distorted cello part plus heavy drums (very minimal). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me your fascinating feedback. Get ready to rock!Search Rating : 7.04
Description : [Updated 24/11/14 - volume boosts, re-EQ'd kick and added a tremolo at the end, 'cos why not...] Knowing how popular RomyHarmony is, there is probably countless songs with the same title, but oh well. Creating in Logic Pro 9 using the ES2 Synthesizer, the Ultrabeat drum machine with a sampled kick from inklewinkle2's 'Liquid Drum and Bass Break' and kenzo409's snare, the ES E ensemble synth and of course, the 'New World' acapella by RomyHarmony, which was once again, a first class acapella.Search Rating : 7.04

Description : I used a ridiculous amount of samples and put a lot of work into the automation of the filters and creating some of my own loops for use with this project, and something happened with the project file and I can no longer access it. I would looooove to finish this one but I can't. (I still think its worth putting up for people to hear though) Anyway there are a few drum n bass drum loops from various websites thrown in there. Anyway tell me what you think =]Search Rating : 6.89
Description : Probably the greatest banj-metal-hiphop-jazz joint ever. With lead saxophone, house bass, rock and metal guitars, Eastern banjo, jazz and hip hop drums and a tasty dose of drum and bass thrown squarely in your face. You can headbang or throw some body-poppin hippity-hoppity shapes to this mofo, for real. A lot of genres covered in 7 minutes so hopefully the time will fly by. And, yes, there really is acoustic banjo as a lead instrument on top of some crunching and crashing metal guitar and drums. Long live Banj Metal!Search Rating : 6.86
Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.Search Rating : 6.86

Description : I'm not sure if Ethnic's the right genre for this or not ? It does have a Far East feel to it but I also added a kinda drum n bass beat as well. This was a bit of an experiment for me as I like some World Music and always wanted to write something that incorporated this style/influence, as with alot of my stuff I've tried to give it a cinematic feel. For this track I used Magix Music Maker 12 deluxe. Some of the loops have been edited and/or had fx added and I programmed the drum pattern myself. Like I say, it's a bit of an experiment, so any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks.Search Rating : 6.86
Description : This was my second recording I did in Music Maker Studio. I'm probally going to redo this cover completely. Since I know how to work the "Beat Box" plug-in that emulates the Roland TR-808 and have been working with drum loops. Anyways, I had always wanted to experiment at doing my own version of this classic song by Phil. I'm using the Silver Synth to deliver a ACID sounding TB-303 bass line. This was my first attempt at using Synth Plug in's, and recording guitar tracks into a project, along with using loops. Constructing a song from scratch and not simply hacking a demo apart as I did for "Jenny 867-5309". I thought I'd share this with you guys for the Hell of it. It's just been hanging out on my Hard Drive for a month now... it's missing the signature drum licks but oh well. After I did this I moved onto working on my first original "Never Here" as my third project.Search Rating : 6.71

Description : Quite an upbeat track, built around a simple drum beat, which I sliced together as I wanted very short breaks in the drum pattern. A solid bass synth to accompany the drums and the odd sequence. In addition to this, there's another nine seperate synth melodies that I played. I used a variety of vst synths on this track: Poly KB II, Z3ta+, HY Poly and Thorn CM. Feel free to download or comment. Feedback is always appreciated. ThanksSearch Rating : 6.68

Description : Another experiment with my new vst drum machine. Also uses the vst instruments, 1.The lofi northern boarder electric piano, 2.Tibetan Singing Bowl (from decent sampler) 3. A bass preset from Vital (synth) with a sax, percussion and 3 vox samples. Also multitracked my slightly random electric guitar playing. The drum and bass tunes tracks and mixes listed here are copyright and may not be used in your projects.
