Description : Here is my contribution to the mixing and mastering competition hosted by ShortBusMusic. Spent quite a bit of time on this one, and it was mainly a morning activity for me - the song seemed to suit that feeling. Quite a bit of detail work went into the mix. Tried to keep much of the dynamics intact. Hope I have kept to the guidelines in an acceptable way. Description : A short minimal tech track that I made earlier this year. It's about understanding a wild animal's loneliness, fear, and pain. I would understand if they hated me, and for sure "Us." I hope it effects you. I released this on Soundcloud previously, but thought the Looperfam might get into it. Description : Hello all, finally got around to polishing this track, which came from a collab with FarM (known on here as honkytonk). He provided me with some drum and bass work, and I came back with a demo that was essentially what you are hearing now. I just fixed the tuning and some pops at transitions. The tuning basically thwarted our collab I think, because without really remembering I played the guitar parts tuned to 432 Hz *** http://csglobe.com/music-conspiracy-to-detune-us-from-natural-432-hz-harmonics/ ***
and left all the other instruments at 440 Hz as a result...heh. Sounded much better after fixing that. Anyway it's got some dubstep and industrial most obviously. Description : Learn something new everyday, take it as the only way. "What makes you an exception?" Know your enemy enough to protect your friends. This song consists only of samples and vocal loops. Description : Back with an update of this song- 8 June 2014. Took to heart a lot of the helpful comments I got on the earlier version, and I think the ideas helped a lot. This contains some incidental guitar work, which I'd like to dedicate to a friend who is no longer with us. (They won't get away with this!) Added some things and removed others, toned down the automation and effects slightly. It's a little longer now too. Hope you all enjoy listening! Oh yeah, BTW all the vocals are mine including the melodic parts, since some people asked.-----

Description : Was in a weird mood this weekend, so I went for some loopy electro this time. Tried to carry my aesthetics and recent style into this genre which is not my usual. It was a little tough to mix this one, but I think it turned out good. Have fun listening!

Description : Felt like taking a break from vocals for a weekend, so here's my new instrumental effort. Can't say I've ever made a song quite like this, but it still sounds like Spivkurl. The variety is mostly represented in the subtleties. It was interesting for me to find the big differences in feelings of C# major when compared to the basic C major key. I can't quite figure out what genre this is, so I'm using fusion, as it has elements of electronic, chill out, ambient, and glitch to name a few. Thanks for checking it out! Description : For those of you who haven't grabbed my new album "Labrynth Of Self" I'm putting up another one from it. This is the only thing on the album that I'd really call industrial, and it comes closest to my goal of creating something that Ohgr might do on one of his albums. It contains some very weird sounds that I don't specifically remember creating. Don't be shy with your critique, it's not the sort of music everyone likes. Thanks for listening friends!

Description : Well, recently made a new track! I sang vocals on this one. It's kind of like techno or new wave or synth pop. The instrumentation is primarily hardware. The drums are from the Zoom RT-123, the basses are Zoom and Microkorg. The pads are from my Korg DW-6000. The keys are Casio HZ-600. The transition sounds are from the Eat Lead Copper modular synth. Just two virtual synths used on this one. I like how the last bridge vocals turned out. I think it turned out pretty good, but I'd like to hear your views! Thanks for listening! Description : This is an experimental track for me in several ways. All of the percussion sounds were individually programmed on my Microkorg synth, which gives them a very unique sound. I played some acoustic electric guitar for this one, which I don't do very often. It's played in C phrygian mode. It's somewhat minimal, but I like it this way. I'd love to hear what you think!
