Description : Back with an update of this song- 8 June 2014. Took to heart a lot of the helpful comments I got on the earlier version, and I think the ideas helped a lot. This contains some incidental guitar work, which I'd like to dedicate to a friend who is no longer with us. (They won't get away with this!) Added some things and removed others, toned down the automation and effects slightly. It's a little longer now too. Hope you all enjoy listening! Oh yeah, BTW all the vocals are mine including the melodic parts, since some people asked.-----
New moon new song, that didn't take too long. Did this over the last few days. I went into this with some urges to fuse electro house with classic rock, so I'll call it fusion. Played some improv on my Baldwin Fanfare organ. Take what you want from it, and compost the rest. You can get the new Spivkurl album "Charting The Anomaly," which includes this track at the We Are... Records Capitalist Market found here: http://www.wearerecords.com/capitalistmarket.html

Description : Indo - West Jugalbandi.
A fusion of "Indian Sitar and Tabla Samples" and some "Western Beats"....
Just sort of a demo project i did for trying out new things....
Not lots of sounds... Has Indian music in the starting and the beats follow up....
Do give it a try.
And do comment/like/share.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Now also on Apple music!! Please please check the link in my profile and give it a play! (Spotify to follow soon). And if you do that, let me know if I can repay the favour!
================
The song feels to me a bit like it could be on stage in a musical. It's a bit theatrical... I like it, but the next one might well be a rock song ;)
All instruments & vocals recorded live at home, without samples.

Description : Hello, everyone!
This one is a bit special because it's not one of my loops, it's jdmax121's loop " Dreamy ".
I loved it so much that I had to make something out of it. It will probably end up being on my upcoming EP.
If you liked it, or not, please let me know!
Have a nice day.
Ps: Here's the link to the loop https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/97021/jdmax-dreamy-by-jdmax121-free-100bpm-chill-out-electric-guitar-loop

Description : Psychedelic Eastern cellhop progressing into a heavy and not at all hip hop ending. Lots of cool basslines and killer beats, all at 80 BPM. Cello is the main instrument and it also covers all the bass parts (no other bass instruments used). I didn't have to add any octave lowering effects to those cello basslines. A few synths, including a dark, trippy pad that gets very psychedelic and swirling when delay and distortion are added. Also a lyre to occasionally add an Eastern drone sound and an 8bit lead sine synth in one section. Drums are mixture of programmed acoustic kits and drum loops. You can really bounce to this shit while firing your guns in the air. So, do that and then come back and let me know if you enjoyed it. Criticism, praise, suggestions etc all welcome. Now get ready to bounce...

Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.

Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.
No, didn't really hear The Doors early on and still don't. Not to worry. I often have aims when making a track, fail to achieve them but then come up with a lot of things I never imagined. Most of the time, actually.
I can hear some definite differences here though I won't only point out differences.
Lead intro synth takes us right in to some good stuff. It's a catchy opening theme.
0:45 new gentle synth playing a dreamy type of melody that goes well with the sweepy pad.
1:30 is that start of the (wah) guitar? If not, I like it anyway.
2:00 melodic vocals sound good here. "Slip away" line sounds good. Bit of vocoding maybe?
2:37 odd bar division break is cool. I think I struggle to get those irregular length breaks right.
3:23 guitar sounds great. Nice and sparse arrangement there but think I might prefer the squelch bass to have some reverb as the two instruments seem not to be playing together, sonically speaking. Guitar is quite distant.
No, don't think I hear the audible pop in this version.
"I wouldn't get dickish about something like an audio pop"
One guy on here really did (basically said his tracks sound exactly as he wants and it's wrong to criticise or make suggestions unless it's specifically asked for)and another female was extremely rude on that subject after extensive, repeated explanation on how to remove the pops. They're off my list for track reviewing forever for just too much rudeness and arrogance (not that I've told them).
Naked squelch bass ending I'm not so keen on. Not terrible, just a bit awkward and sort of grooveless.
But it's still a cool track. And I mean cool as it has a certain leftfield disco club chic to it. Thanks for the good reply.

Fav'd for sure
Popin mix has what it takes...simplicity...
Nicely done...
Peace ....TG
This is another that ain't too wonky and twisted so I like it.
First surprise and mild complaint relates to this:
"fuse electro house with classic rock"
I'm totally not hearing the classic rock!
0:15 the organ's a bit distorted and guitar-like but that doesn't make it classic rock, for me.
Anyway, some killer squelchy, farty bass.
1:01 beautiful pad does a really nice job and puts a different complexion on the whole thing. Not the kind of sound I expect from you.
1:30 cool little break and distinctive cos it's so short. Almost awkward and probably confusing for dancers.
Spoken word works pretty well. Sort of dreamy dance track with you as the guru/MC guiding us through a far out world.
Decent length track - just about right.
Are those more melodic vocals in there yours too eg on 2:00?
3:27 there's an audio pop you could probably fix. I almost always point these things out in people's tracks when I spot them. One guy on here really didn't like that but I don't expect you to be a dick about it.
Good work!
The organ. Yes! I've often said there isn't enough organ work anymore. As an organ enthusiast, I love it! You did get a sweet sound on it too. It's got a very rich distortion without drowning out that signature organ sound. I've heard some distorted to the point where they just sounded like another guitar. This one toes the line, but still retains that sweet, sweet organ love! (That sounded a lot dirtier than I meant for it to.)
I really like the spoken word style vocals. It's definitely a more subdued approach than we're used to from you. I think your vocal endeavors are panning out. To be honest, I'd love to hear your take on a cover of something by The Cramps.
Nice work, man.
Take care.
Aaron
Good work
Paulo
wow what fun feeling to this piece, agree a mixture of genre's, but all working so nice together as one track, to be honest this sounds like it should be on radio, has that vibe to it, again nice use of the vocals mate, you getting so good with your vocals now, more clear sounding with less effects on them, which I guess gives you more scope to use in different genre's...Totally love the listen here friend...Fav'd...Peace n MUCH Respect Pat...Mosaic...
its a very hypnotic track .
when you in it ,you cant get out ...
love the trancy synths and your vocals fits very good !
good job spiv !
greetzzz
I am not up on all the genre differences when it comes to electronic music so it sounds like another cool Spivkurl track that is a bit more subdued than some of your recent tracks. A little more relaxed approach to the vocals and they do sound good.
Well done my friend, enjoyed the track quite a bit!
Wayne
Everytime u come up with something new and awesome...
Too good
What i love about your stuff is you never know what you're going to get and this is a pretty complicated sounding piece. It must have taken you a while to put this together.
Good stuff.
FR
You have a lot of creative imagination at this time .... It's a good mix of genres very well controlled, and with once again your musical particularity ....
Dan
Great sounds. Cool track. I can see why I've read comments about people looking forward to your tracks.
RW
The organ is like something out of the 60's, Iron Butterfly, Doors .
Killer track bro,
tv
I'm digging this one bigtime Spiv !
