Description : /*Update: Added a tempo change. Added some EQ to the kick drum and snare and edited the master channel a bit. But for some reason the track won't update on here. */This song was made out of boredom. For a while, I thought I lost my producing abilities. As I struggled day in and day out to come up with something I actually liked. Making music has become a struggle more than anything these days. If you guys have any tips on helping the music flow, that will be great! Thanks for always stopping in and supporting me, love this community!Search Rating : 4.86
Description : Back in with that 4/4 melodic pulsing; oh yeah! -- Assuming I haven't missed anything, this will be the first track of its kind that I have done on Logic. This time I was aiming for something sort of similar to Freedom with the sound, but ended up becoming a bit better after being influenced by PhaseOne's new album and getting FM8. The track has actually been sitting on my hard drive for the better part of six months, so... yeah, I needed to post something. Vocals have been provided (royalty free) for free by The Entranced (just google the name - she has some fantastic acapellas). -- The song is comprised of my usual synths, except I've replaced my original ES2 pad with a modified version of a Supersaw pad I worked on in FM8 (which, by the way is not the best synth for this; Sylenth would have been much better) and uses all six operators on saw plus the noise operator, as well as reverb, detune, a touch of analogue and massive panning. Other things of significance: much of the vocal content has been polyphonically stretched to fit to the beat, because for some reason the tempo change did not go as expected. -- Download here is a 224 kbps MP3 file, however you can download a 320 kbps AAC file from my Soundcloud (see my profile) or request a 24 bit WAV file.Search Rating : 4.86
Description : A kinda chill out, hip hop track that I created a year ago and didn't finish mixing for some reason. Thought it was a shame to waste so I thought I'd finish it up and share with you guys. Let me know what you think.Note: I think I got the beat from LM originally. I've chopped it up a lot and changed the tempo. But if you recognize it, let me know.

After the initial lyrics,Kamal let's the groove ride so you can ride with it. Enjoy the female neo soul voice on the hook as well.

Description : A new trap beat I did recently. experimented with a slower than average tempo than I usually would. 65 bpm. I also tried some new brass presets from kontakt, played with automation to give it a bigger rise to the chorus. also used iris 2 for my synths which I don't normally do. had a lot of trouble getting my automations for the intro synth to export. had to make wav files before export. also the kick drum is tuned much lower than I usually go. anyways I'm rambling. hope you like it.Search Rating : 4.86

Description : This is not a epic track with epic drum and dark Egyptian themed masterpiece. There are no strings or sounds effects on that track. Also there are no choirs, brass, organ, cello, trumpet, tuba, harp, violins and Archeopterix (its a common instrument). You may hate that pretty low quality and short track with no epic sounds or even tempo.Do not write any comment or feedback. I hope I didn't describe this weak track. Please don't play it over and over again because you hate it. You can download this track for free. Finally I do not try to do reverse psychology to gain more fame or fav or plays!Search Rating : 4.86
Description : Got a new track here, which seems to fit with the hardcore aesthetic, what with the tempo, hard kicks, and driving bass. We'll see what others' will hear though. This song has been about 11 months in the making, and finally came together with the addition of some psycholotrystic field recordings. No evil spirits were harmed during the recording of this song. Features my circuit bent Tyco Hotkeyz, a track of modular synth, and some helpful controllerism. This is meant to be on dirty lofi side for the most part, so don't come complaining to me...! Thanks for listening!Search Rating : 4.86

Description : Trap Track I made a while back but never got around to mixing properly or spitting a verse....Hard Beat Thick HOllow Bass Drums, nice tempo for a spitter....hit me up if you wanna collab or just feel free to take a crack at it, just lemme know if you end up using it por favor...PS the BASS IS VERY LOUD as i never mixed this track at all, so you might want to mix n master it a bit, or if you have a strong vocal presence just get angry at the track and make sure to NOT use your inside voice.....also there is usually a gain knob near the mic input on your A/D converter that can make up for any lack of power you might have.....

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : This track is the first two sections of what will (hopefully) be a three-part piece — essentially a suite. I am posting parts 1 and 2 because I think they are ready for feedback from Looperman members. Part 3 isn’t done yet because it requires Human League style vocals from a singer with a distinct British accent. I have the melody and lyrics worked out. I sent a private message a while ago to a Looperman member who I think has the right voice for the job. But, haven’t had a response. Until I find a vocalist for it, I can’t finish the piece. In any case, the total file size of the complete piece would be greater than the Looperman limit, so it will have to be split into parts anyway.Parts 1 and 2, in fact the whole thing, were inspired by acapellas posted here on Looperman by Jacques Demers:

If you haven’t checked out Jacques’ tracks yet, you really should. He doesn’t set them up as “featured” so it might be easy to miss them.
The harmony in Jacques’ acapellas sounded very “Beatle-ish” to me, and that made me want to try my hand at doing a George Martin style treatment. I remembered that ScottsCovers here on Looperman had mentioned an instrument called a Mellotron, which was used by the Beatles, the Moody Blues, Genesis, along with other groups of that era, so I decided to use a VST mellotron as the primary instrument for Parts 1 and 2.
The acapella in Part 2 was in a different key than the one used for Part 1, so I needed to find a chord progression in Part 1 that would modulate the key. Jacques gave me some advice on that, which you can see in the comments on his first acapella.
Part 1 has harp, mellotron flutes, clarinet, french horns, and my attempt at a Penny Lane type trumpet solo (but much simpler). Part 2 has a string ensemble, solo oboe and trumpet in unison, and some Daniel Langois type processed guitars. Both parts were recorded at 60 bpm, largely because that’s where the acapellas seemed to sync best. However, I played the instrument tracks freestyle (rubato), so the tempo actually varies somewhat. Definitely not quantized!
There is a storyline behind this track. Part 1 is the blooming stage of a relationship. Part 2 is about the relationship in decline. Part 3, with vocals, will be about ending it.
I’ve included the transition to Part 3 (which will be a more traditional synth pop section) and just a bit of the first verse backing instrumental so you can get an idea of how things are headed in the final part.

Description : Been on the front lines of an age old battle, and feeling the depth of pain and trauma associated with it. Started this track quite a while ago, but decided to use it to free my tension. I'm calling this trip hop because of the tempo and everything, but that's not an option here, so I'll go with electronic. All made from loops, no synths or instruments, VSTi or otherwise. Description : The results of one of my most intense recording sessions to date. I don't think I've explored a single key this deeply ever before. (G minor for those of you wondering) I pulled out my old Epiphone Les Paul, which I've rebuilt and customized over the years. Typed the original lyrics for the song on a couple text message drafts in my phone, then expanded upon them. Has some dubstep elements which are obvious, but it's at a higher tempo. So I guess there's some gothic and industrial in there too. Thanks for taking a listen! You can get the new Spivkurl album "Charting The Anomaly," which includes this track at the We Are...
