Description : Vocals recorded by a friend in memory of her brother who passed away today one year ago. She happened to give me a link to a little recording she did on her gaming headsets, and I asked if I could download it. Thought I'd give a little tribute and try my hand at capturing that feeling of intimacy, loss and sadness in my first Pro Tools 12 session! Hope you enjoy. Description : Everything awaits...Found a bass rig that i had fun with as a start. Created a combined synth rack for the string pads and added som electronic fx from a couple of synths. Visited looperman in search of a vocal track, found a track from Blunierty titled "keep on rollin" which contained a phrase that caught my attention and later also become the title of this track. Added drum loops and added a layer of supporting drum beats, high hats and crash cymbals. Created a lead synth track that was ok in this context. I spent a couple of hours mixing and the result is ready for your ears.

Description : This song is my first attempt at trap(?) and was made ENTIRELY with Looperman loops in honor of this awesome site and also to demonstrate what you can do with Looperman loops :P. Compiled, edited/processed, mixed and roughly mastered in about 16 hours. I am collaborating with a Looperman rapper right now who will lay some verses on this and I will do the hook. In other words this is not a finished product just yet, but wanted y'alls opinions on it.

Description : This started out as hip hop but quickly turned into something much more beautiful, psychedelic and epic though I've still kept the hip hop drums plus added many others. There is a quite a lot of lead bass guitar, sometimes layered, which is partly why I'm dedicating it to Evisma as he loves a good bit of bass layering and has influenced me. Also: electric guitar, resonator guitar for the obligatory slide solo (you've got to have it - it's the law in NomadLand), big pads plus haunting granular synth choir voices, two very different types of programmed VST guitar, fat synth basses, a few drum loops and various programmed acoustic drum kits. There's some deep chill and funky grooves in this constantly changing journey of unravelling sonic mysteries though it gets much more uptempo and rocking in the second half. Interesting thoughts, reflections and ideas are always welcome in NomadLand. Warning: fat beats and deep psychedelic sounds ahead...

My older brother does the lead vocals and I do everything else, from instrumentation to harmonies. No vocal-editing whatsoever in this one. The guitars were all one-take recordings. Updated the audio - I added tambourine hits in the 2nd and 3rd choruses; just helps make for a more moving song.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : Here is a new Spivkurl track for all of you to check out! My thought process interprets this as industrial gothic, but it's open to external interpretation. This song's sounds were almost entirely sampled from equipment which I hand soldered, whether it be synthesizer builds or circuit bending. The lead vocals were recorded with the new microphone which I built in the past few days, and I'm happy with the way it interacts with my voice. In fact the only piece of gear used that I didn't build was the microphone for the hook vocals... and they are meant to be unintelligible, as they were recorded spontaneously with a patch I called a Spivocoder (on my modular synth). Uptempo and aggressive, it's definitely my sort of industrial. Please give me your opinions if you have the time! Thanks!
