Description : C#, G#, A#. bass, lead, atmosphere from GMS synth in FL Studio. Perhaps if you commute on a German ferry boat each day, this would be upbeat music to help you psyche up for your workday! no clue about genre as usual.

I started listening to this, and then felt the desire to go and view the painting... not surprising that the painting felt instantly connected with the music! It's like I could see it before I clicked the link, within the music. Very creative stuff. I think that you coaxed some good sounds out of the single synth, and I could see the frequencies being even more broad if the sounds were created on different instruments... but then the whole "vibe" may be lost, so it might not be worth it. I really like this one! Thank you for sharing! Fave!
I think the fact that your music is difficult to fit in a particular genre box speaks well to your creativity Dan....it does indeed bounce along nicely..one of those tunes that you listen to and just couldn`t feel down...and aint that a good thing...nicely done...Ed
Another nice pair up! The music represents the big boat floating on the calm sea while pushing forward on our way to work :D I do picture the early 1900's era riding the ferry to the factory for the day. What's the return trip sound like?
This has a pretty cool vibe to it but feels like it should be extended. As if it's only a preview. Gotta say the vibe is quite futuristic so doesn't make me think of that boat chugging along.
This sounds like it's going to turn into a fat, pumping dance track once some heavier beats arrive.
Or it can just stay sitting there chilling in its bombastic sort of way for a while.
Honestly, I was gonna stay in chill mode but expand as you were feeling should. Now I am hearing something a little more aggressive. It will be new territory if I go in that direction but hey - that's the way you grow.
On the art - yea, not my most obvious music/art sync by a long shot. But it's a happy ride!
yea - genre generally alludes me. I'm more interested in the music evolving somehow out of response to a piece of visual art. that's my angle! LOL! But it was really sticking practically to a couple of obviously related patches in the GMS that gave me a leg up on this one. Glad you could stop by, mudhoen. Thanks for great comment. I'll have some coffee ready next time!
Thats a really cool site linking music with art, ive went through a few on there and it looks like you have done alot of tracks for it haha very cool idea :)
anyhoo the song haha, this is great. It feels minimal but still somewhat complex, very chill but pretty exciting. I think it also captures that picture very well. Great track! :)
I'm happy, Renz. Found some compatible sounds in a single synth and made this one a low-stress, low angst "quickie". Glad you liked. Best regards my friend. Dan
Brilliant...though, at first listen (til I didn't see the painting) I imagined some small boats floating, waving, slowly rolling down the river with the possible choice of the upcoming danger...:-)
It is interesting how the music for art tracks turn out. Sometimes the connection with the painting is mostly about emotional content. I think the music might speak of a happy ride in this commuter boat. Thanks for checking this out. All the best. Dan
thanks mrroads. i discovered some compatible patches in BMS Synth (FL Studio) and things fell together without too much headache and angst on this one. glad you liked it. appreciate the comment. Regards - Dan

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

I like boats. Big, red or small - I don't mind.
