Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).Search Rating : 4.44

Description : Well, recently made a new track! I sang vocals on this one. It's kind of like techno or new wave or synth pop. The instrumentation is primarily hardware. The drums are from the Zoom RT-123, the basses are Zoom and Microkorg. The pads are from my Korg DW-6000. The keys are Casio HZ-600. The transition sounds are from the Eat Lead Copper modular synth. Just two virtual synths used on this one. I like how the last bridge vocals turned out. I think it turned out pretty good, but I'd like to hear your views! Thanks for listening! This track is included on the Spivkurl album "Labrynth Of Self".Search Rating : 4.44

Description : Hi Guys, I asked for feedback on how I should mix Chicago Swing. I received some very good constructive feedback, Thanks. Please listen and and provide more feedback as this is a work in progress. (I encourage you to listen to this one and then listen to the original one on my page) Thanks again everyone for the feedback. Some feedback received were as follows: lower the levels on bass, raise the levels of piano, electric keys, and lead. Also, the track ends abruptly.Search Rating : 4.44
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.Search Rating : 4.44
Description : This was a song entry for a remix contest for John Schlitt on Acidplanet. It never placed but I thought it would be worth posting. While most other entries went into electronic or other genres, we kept true to John's style with a hard rock edge. John Schlitt (former lead singer of Petra)wrote the song and sang the lyrics. I added guitar and harmonica and Buddrumming punched in some drums. A good summer rocker to kick the speakers out.Search Rating : 4.44

Description : Pure electro mid tempo chillout and upbeat groover with various tribal elements eg shakers, didg and djembes. Lots of lead, arpeggiated wailing synths and 5 or 6 synth basses. Some hip hop thrown in with the drums. All made within Reason software. It's complex but I think it's good fun.Search Rating : 4.44
Description : This is a track by SBM, who was kind enough to let me mess around with it. I added some Drums, guitar (rythm and lead) and bass. I had to put a little solo right in the middle, because the theme and chord prog. SBM made just told me to. Hope I do right by you SBM :-)Downloads will be enabled as soon SBM says ok...

Description : This song I put together features 2 different songs in 1. The first is a little slower than the second one. Both feature some pretty good lead guitar licks, I think. Took me about 2 months to put it all together. Hope you'll like it.Search Rating : 4.44
Description : Had a nightmare creating this due to computer problems but finally it is finished! The lead riff comes from a sample of an 80s yamaha synth for that old skool sound which i played back in b minor. It's got the amen break and a reece bassline for more of a generic oldskool feel. I wanted to make this a tribute to 90s drumnbass and reckon it works...why not tell me yr thoughts though.Search Rating : 4.44
Description : Hi ya,Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.
The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.
Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.
Hope you like it.
