Description : I asked Robin if he would like to add some electric bass guitar to my track, he agreed and gave me a bass track with a wobble effect on it. I added some electric guitar fills, some classical guitar strumming and fills, some tambo and shaker and sang a song about the warm desert sand.Search Rating : 5.96

Description : Hello friends.A few days ago I heard a remix of "A Real Mother For Ya" by Johnny Guitar Watson that I really liked, so I got down to work and made my own.
I don't have the original acapella so I had to do some inventions with RX iZotope. It sounds kind of dirty, but that dirty sound is not bad at all.
I hope you like it and leave your comments as they help a lot. And excuse my bad English, I use a translator

Description : A song about a train, Jimmy on guitar and his life long friend Billy experimenting with an old Kalamazoo lap steel, a late addition. Fender Tele through a Fender Princeton. I attribute two train loops by Daniel Simion at Soundbible. The third train sound is a guitar loop with effects. I play the bass, sing, acoustic guitar, wrote, arranged and mixed it. Might have the singer in Jim's bluegrass band redo the vox at some point.Search Rating : 5.96

Description : My heaviest and most extreme track. Also the first with no synths. Crashing and smashing programmed drums and dirty layers of electric guitar (with a psychedelic, Eastern feel at times). Bass guitar plus a slide resonator guitar solo. No drum loops. Don't play this at your grandmother's funeral. Not unless she was a real headbanger.Search Rating : 5.96
Description : Here is my new genre and I call it 'electrocellometallo', or just 'cellometallo' though this is also a dance track. My aim was to make some dirty groove metal without using any guitar. Instead, all of what sounds like heavy guitar is actually distorted, bowed cello (yes, it's my cello playing). There are also no bass instruments (eg bass guitar, synth bass) as that's cello, yet again. I only played one proper cello bassline - the rest of the bass is incorporated within the dirty cello riffage. Other instruments: Fender Rhodes (clean and then distorted) a few synth arps, a synth pad and soaring, sample-based strings. Lots of fat beat drum loops and two programmed hard rock kits. I enjoyed making this but let me know what you think. Interesting and intelligent analysis appreciated. Humour is also permitted...Search Rating : 5.96
Description : Intro is lap-steel guitar with a smooth stone pick, then the electric comes in. Used 5 different guitars in this one. Two basses, an electric, acoustic and lap-steel. Three programmed MIDI drum kits, a few drum loops, and a Zippo I've had for about 20 years. Had this one going for a while now. Life stuck it in and broke it off over the last two months. Plugged ears from a head cold, and a rather crazy flooding event kept this from receiving steady work-flow. My main bass guitar's electronics took a big ##### on me as well, so the second half's bass guitar is my old P-bass that I really had to dress up. Anyway, enough excuses. Give this ##### a listen and share the love or hate. I like both equally.Search Rating : 5.96
Description : 4!_(07@2nd) harmonic protocol reboot sequenceThis track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.

Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...Search Rating : 5.96
Description : Real bass guitar and electric guitar. Three Midi drum kits, with Taiko drum loops. Midi piano, double-bass, piccolo, violins and violas. All Midi instruments played by putting fingers to midi controller's keys, then polished with the ancient musical device called "The Mouse". Guitar and bass are minimal, and there is none in the first minute. It's all done with keys. Would love some feedback on this one. No idea on the genre. I saw no selection for "Exophagy Soundscape".Search Rating : 5.96
Description : A powerful piece of epic chillout dance music that's something a little different for me. Rhodes and filter swept, bowed strings are heard a lot but there's also one section of rocking guitar, one slide resonator guitar solo, fat basses, various far out pads and other synths and 10-15 drumloops supported by 6 or 7 programmed acoustic drumkits. Look out for the funk section in the middle (3:02) with some delicate grooving from bass and guitar. Lots of beauty here so I really enjoyed making this. My favourite section is the last 90 seconds with some bowed string melodies I find highly memorable and could listen to for hours. Let me know if you have a favourite section/moment as well as any you don't like or think could be improved (that's always possible). Now press play and sample some of what never really ends in my mind but has to in track form so that people will at least attempt to listen to it. It's only a little bit of infinity as infinity is much larger than 10MB so won't fit on Looperman...Search Rating : 5.96
Description : Here is the outcome of Mark Ratcliffe jumping on board the Short Bus Proximal Vicinity craze with his amazingly emotional and powerful vocal and guitar performances. His account can be found here...https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/631933
He used my mix 13B master B to record his parts, so it only seemed natural that he would send those parts over and let me mix them in, as opposed to just mixing over an mp3. His guitar and vocal parts were extremely well recorded and high quality, so it helped things fall into place comfortably. I tried to keep most of the power of my earlier mix, while giving space to the lead guitar and vocals. Also I fixed just a couple small problems that I didn't hear before. Mark has really helped take this song to another level, and I thank him for making trips to town to facilitate this project!
So I give you ShortBusMusic - Proximal Vicinity Ft Mark Ratcliffe - Spivkurl Mix 13IA

Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.Search Rating : 5.96
Description : Hi ya,Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.
The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.
Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.
Hope you like it.

Description : A voyage of discovery! This track simply emerged from lots of ideas. Superb vocals from Stephanie Kay. Thank you for the collaboration.EZdrummer again at the back providing the drive and a very simple synth bass doubled with electric guitar all the way through. A low key rhodes style piano gives it a little suspense and a wah wah guitar line from verse two onwards adds some interest. The overdrive guitar in the chorus sections and in the solo are the trusty Godin xtsa with patches from Logic Pro. The strings over the chorus add a little tension (I hope).
Hope you enjoy and comments aways welcome.
