Description : Just an acoustic/piano piece I threw together a few nights ago when coming home from university. My brother and I were doing some acoustic music together in my room, just having fun; came out with this; I immediately got on my DAW and recorded it before I forgot how ti went lol. Description : I would love to have some help with editing this- ironing out the sound issues, or time issues. Any help will be appreciated.I want to get the best possible string sound without having to buy more expensive string software. I am not a great fundi on mixing and playing with the effects.I prefer to just write the music and have some other expert deal with the technical sound issues. What I am wanting here is a sound that is most like a good orchestral recording. Of course what I REALLY would like is for a REAL orchestra to play it in Carnegie Hall or the equivalent! Or better still some famous movie company to buy the rights to it and I become in instant multimillionaire overnight!!.Oh well I can dream cant I? ha ha!!!

Such an enormous talent and a breathtaking performance by her on this track. All done in Logic X apart from percussion (Superior Drummer 2) and a bass line I played in on my Sterling Sub 4. Description : 1906 was the year of the largest emigration wave of Sicilians to America. Sicily, the cradle of mafia and vendeta, and the land of poverty. Why did I compose this? Coincidentaly, last week I was watching again all three "Godfather" movies after a long time (Marlon Brando is still my favourite actor), so I got an idea! The sentiment of leaving beloved homeland and family in desperate search for a better future is the key here to capture. Human heart in sadness but full of hope ! Mediteranean flavour mixed with almost classical elements prevails in this little extra offer. Not a cup of tea for everyone then...probably only for those who are able to survive all that orlandesque trumpery.:) It's a tricky one...ok?

I think I've written this piece several times before but never got around to finishing. It shows my "dark side" (I like synthesisers!) Some of the sections may be a bit long but the main idea was to create an infection groove.
It's an early mix and there's still lots to do but would appreciate some thoughts on what I have so far. Should I stick to Pop, Blues and Rock? Anyway, it's an effort on my part to push the envelope a bit and see what comes out. I hope you like it.
