Description : So I'm way outside my comfort zone with this one! Not even sure if "Deep House" is the genre? Comments please
I think I've written this piece several times before but never got around to finishing. It shows my "dark side" (I like synthesisers!) Some of the sections may be a bit long but the main idea was to create an infection groove.
It's an early mix and there's still lots to do but would appreciate some thoughts on what I have so far. Should I stick to Pop, Blues and Rock? Anyway, it's an effort on my part to push the envelope a bit and see what comes out. I hope you like it.
Comments always welcome and thanks for listening.

How the hell did I miss this one? Senility is a wonderful thing when one finally figures out one is senile, haha.
Stellar work. But that doesn't surprise me as everything you do is top shelf work. I've got no suggestions for you, other than keep putting out your music. This is so damn good. Definitely a great way to start my day Richie. Thanks for always giving us such great songs to drool over. I hope all is well.
Well first of all, deep house it aint. Secondly it is bloody good. As PJB said i'd bung it in the fusion genre. I love the blend of synth, guitar and that rhodes sound is excellent. I always love the clarity and arrangement of your tracks and this is no exceptio. There's some wicked soloing going on now and i can't fault this track on any level.
Cracking stuff.

I don't know my genres from my genitals!!! Thanks for stopping by and checking out this track. Glad you liked the track and your comments are much appreciated.
Well it runs in the deep house family, since house has different kinds of feels... so much for lounge, jazz etc, can be created under house music... So what you think it is, it is. For example Kyotto Jazz Massive. That`s the feel you are having to this track. I`m loving it and I have up comings such as your kind.
Hi and thank you for your comments. I also thought it might come under the "deep house" genre but as you see from the previous comments not many agreed! Thanks also for pointing me in the direction of "Kyotto Jazz Massive". I've been listening and I like it very much.
Well now you ask YES! I've always liked this style of music but never before posted anything because I thought is wasn't good enough. Thanks for the encouraging comment. I'm going to work on the track some more and try to get it finished.
A dash of funk...a splash of jazz...I know nada about a lot of genres Richie & don`t pay much attention to them so I`m with whatever you decide it is...note you mentioned sax...I personally think that would be a great addition..I can hear it a nice sax piece in my mind as I write...sliding smoothly over the busier key bits..kudos on keeping it fairly minimal where everything is nice and crisp and plays its part (I have cluttered more than a few of my own mixes in the past...now more careful not to do so)...You`re off to a great start and its nice to hear a new one from you after what seems like a very long time....great stuff....keep on....Ed
Thanks for the comments - always good to have you drop by and listen. Hope to get the sax player from the band I work with around soon to try some ideas and maybe put a guitar synth part down myself too. Yes, there's a lot of space left and as you say the trick is not to fill it all!
Hey Richie good to see you man!...nice sounds mate!,forget all that housey mousey crap (I mean the genre tag,I don't want to upset any house fans!)...your playing fusion here 100% plain and simple..a muso always plays his age there's no escaping it..from the tight punchy bassline,to that lovely swirling lead progression it's pure jazz rock(fusion)...now that we've got that acorn out of the way I can review it (lol)...What I really dig about this piece is the space available and room to extemporise freely notwithstanding the early phase in it's construction..I'd be inclined to further expand your dark 'synth' side and add an electronically styled counter melody throughout, everything else is already there...it's cool now and will be an absolute cracker I'm certain!...cheers Dave :)
Good to hear from you and thanks for the comments. I've tried to keep the track skinny clean and a bit "precise" if that makes sense. Yes, fusion seems to be a common thread of the comments posted so I'm happy with that.
It's work in progress and your suggestions on expanding some electronic counter melodies will work well. Thanks also for noting the space available which of course I will resist filling up. The sax player in the band has a copy of the track and I hope to get him around sometime and see what he comes up with. Could be interesting!
Anyway I think this kind of things is right up your street so maybe next track we should have try at doing something together? What do you think?
I just finished my listen and I would say that this is not house, it's more of a funk-jazz fusion. If you change the beat to a more 4 to the floor house sound of which it has the potential to be a massive jazz-house tune. That being said, it's a really good tune on it's own and I enjoyed listening to it.
Funk jazz fusion it is then! OK I'm learning all the time and maybe sometime I'll change the drum pattern to a four on the floor variety and see how it sounds. Thanks for listening and appreciate your comments.

Description : An attempt at writing a deep house track. Recorded in some guitar, chopped out some loops and built the track around it. Not sure if you could call it a deep house track though but there you go.
Description : A slightly hypnotic song here, a little impulsive but also comes very relaxing.
As always tinged slightly dark.
I knew again not what kind of a genre it is really.
Therefore, it is under Deep House because that fits in my opinion, quite good. But who knows ....
Who wants to understand the text, but not be German, which can be read by a translation.
To see under - Lyrics ....
Hopefully you like this song - feedback would be nice.
Description : So I took just one pad phrase that Alex wrote and built this monstrosity entirely around it. A gentle deep house ambient sentiment with soft jazzy pianos and deep and dirty bass withs lots and lots of percussion. I really like this one And I hope you do too!
Description : Instrumental version - NOT THE FINAL MIX
Used loops and vox by Joe Funktastic, Loop by Sharpnotes, vox by Sheba (who doesn't seem to be on this site anymore). If I've left anyone out I'll come back and edit this.
Anyway, I haven't uploaded anything in a while after a death in the family. Hope to remedy that with more tracks.
Description : Demotrack #03 St.Ra
Somtimes a banana is not enough, so i turned up my smoothie mixer added some strawberries and this got me back to my roots. I started with fl and deep house. I programmed a slow analog drum machine Blofeld mixed with 808 and Rickenbacher Bass.
Description : Strated making this Deep House styled track yesterday and yea... :D Hope you people like it or dont like it :) and feedback would be great always :)
Description : Here's a deep house track, you can download a higher quality version here:https://yarnak.bandcamp.com/track/thoughts
the vocal was taken from this website
Description : Again some new experiments. Welcome to my first G-House attempt! It was pretty muck constructed with loops but i also used some one-shots from my packs. Enjoy, comment and download! Peace.
Description : Another wee tune I made in Ableton, I found a cool funky guitar loop on here from a user called Danke and also a vocal from a user on here called Searz. The rest I made myself using various samples and instruments
Description : Now for a bit lighter topic I thought I uploaded one of my most recent tracks. I wanted to make a very deep synth and think I managed to do so. Build up to the 2nd part really gives it more depth. Let me know if you like it or give me hints to make it better. I did not use an actual drop in this. Thought it did not fit the track.

It feels more like a jazz, fusion to me. I think house has more of a drive with the kick.
Nevertheless it's a nice chill and relaxing piece of work. Love the guitar solo, it's different for you, but one thing's the same...it's good!
