Description : Made this song with an iPad and a borrowed acoustic guitar and mic on my old rig. Did this song like 3 years ago. It is mixed horribly because I was still using my desktop speakers to mix it haha (didn't have headphones or studio monitors). I was also sick when I recorded this haha. Made this song in about 5 hours. Seriously considering redoing because I like it so much, despite it's flaws.

Description : This was actually my first attempt at recording an acoustic guitar, almost two years ago. I had just learned at the time that STEREO sounds so much more immersive than MONO. I was too inexperienced enough before to think that panning was all that important :P This was my attempt at getting a wider sound with acoustic guitars. The guitars and vocals are all done by me. I did most of these vocal recordings in one take - hence the wobbliness in some parts :P But feel free to comment and let me know what you think of it.- EpicRecord

Description : This song was originally written by Bear but never posted…he asked me if I could finish it so, I did. Bear is on rhythm guitars, drum loops, pads, wrote the original bass line (which I redid with my Ibanez bass), keys. I added vocals, lead guitar, bass and mastered. Always a pleasure working with Bear because his songs are just so darn good.

Description : This unconventional metal track is dedicated to Valvedriver https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/841435 though it's not a parody of his fine music or me actively trying to sound like it. I struggled for months with the first few minutes of this track knowing that I must be able to take it somewhere deeper, more psychedelic and powerful. Then I loaded some sampled choir voice instruments, as used in my track Reckful https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/160356 and suddenly found myself happily in Valveland - not a place I visit often. Feeling amply Valvedriven and newly inspired, I added the last few minutes fairly easily and very quickly. So: it's a twisting, turning mixture of grunge, menacing ambient, mystical metal and ultra-heavy funk. Instruments: electric guitar+bass, synth basses, female choir voices, one synth pad, some other synths on the nastier side of things and a few programmed heavy acoustic drumkits playing a mixture of triplets and straighter grooves. Interesting thoughts appreciated. Favourite bits? Shit bits? Please listen on good headphones/speakers as there's a lot of heavy bass in this. Now get ready to rock: balls out, hands in the air and with rebellious joy in your heart. Just try not to headbang the hell out of your laptop. Go!

Description : It's been a while since I posted anything original, and the reason is I've been spending tons of time between this song and my guitar build. Both were started and finished virtually simultaneously. This song is hard to describe... those who know Spivkurl will recognize my style in this, but I have tried to take things bit further composition wise in this one. It's a bit pop for me, but oh well. All basses originated on my modular synth. Vocals are all me. Please let me know what you think! Description : Updated /18/12/2014 :fix someting, I added few brass, updated the "guitar riff" and change some transition.Hope this is better.A another epic cinematic track.There are a lot of hardcore work behind that tune. To celebrate the progression I do this years this track combine most of the elements of my previous prototypes : a epic drum beat (tournament),some panning effect (unstable waves)and more. Also in this tune there are 2 loops from here so thanks for 40A for the 1:58 choirs and jaceziii for the "brass french horn". I hope the title fit very well with this music!! btw tune are always better when you fully lisent it. like tournament I have some kind of surprise at 2:16 min. Just for fun I want to know which movie genre this tune can fit. like tournament comments I was able to make a little story and I enjoyed that :D

The track is a bit minimal and I've tried to allow the multi layered vocals shine and not be over cluttered with much else. Percussion is Superior Drummer (using brushes instead of sticks), bass is a Sterling Sub 4 (a recent acquisition) played in live with an attempt at some funky slap stuff in the last chorus (tricky!) Guitar solo is my trusty Godin XTSA on the acoustic setting. Keyboard is a patch from Logic X.
So good to be working with this quality of vocal. Thanks Farisha.

Description : I usually do retro styles, but I found a great vocal track from an excellent artist, so thought I'd try something different and compose an instrumental track around it. It is an alternative or indie style track, so hopefully I did the backing for the vocals justice. My friend and collaborator, James (midiman007), did the wonderful guitar tracks...Thanks James. Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song.
