Need your advice regarding the mix and volume lads, so lets have it! It's free for download, but please tell me first what you think about it.............................................
I had this idea of doing a Hip/Blues track with my mate Pico on vocals. But as he is not available for vocals at the moment, I recycled vocals of other songs we done previously. And added a couple of loops, see the credits at the end. Just a bit of fun :D

Description : Update 12.09.2016 - I widened the Metaled vocals a bit, reduced volume on the "machine" rap section at around 3:00, and also added some effect to make it less harsh. dropped a little the guitar so the drums are louder, and some other small stuff. Let me know if better now :D
This song started with me finding the vocals by Metaled, and thinking what can I do with it. Again, is it rap? Rock? Blues??? Please give me your thoughts on it, and also about the mix, always happy to get input. And if you just listened without commenting, that's cool too my friends. A proper rock'n roll track with just bass, vocals and guitar - I did it as some sort of tribute to Free and the great Paul Kossoff (who I hope forgives me for this poor imitation where ever he rocks hard now). -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The main vocals were recorded just to see how everything fits in, but in the end we decided to use it as it is. Rock and roll baby!

Description : OK, I finally managed to find a song name, so here it is. But the genre is still open. ##### is it? World? Trip? Trance? Rock? psychedelic? .

I started this song with the wahwah background track, I think I wanted to go in the triphop direction but when I played with it and tried out things I added some Tabla sounds from the available sound library of the cubase software to it, just to get a feel for it. It sounded right somehow, and so it developed from there. As before, we did the work on wikiloops band section: bhunt1 (Brian) on Bass added his track, and rp3drums (Raymond) on drums (one straight drum track, and one para-diddle track). I then added several more guitar tracks.

So I would be happy to listen to your comments and advice, and if I get a good suggestion for name and genre I will change it. Cheers, TG :D

We all got someone that we want to say thank you for believing in us in the past, related to music or otherwise. I recently had the opportunity to say "thank you" to a friend that I lost contact with for almost 30 years - so when I saw those lyrics from HEMANIFEZT I liked them immediately

bass by bhunt1........drums by rp3drums....guitars by me (background+solo)......background female singing by SoleilxLune (loop "Vocal 27").....and of course rap by the one and only HEMANIFEZT....

Description : I hope we got your attention on this one :), this is another hiphop flavoured track we did. All 4 Guitar parts by me, bass by Bhunt1, drums by rp3drums (he did all the work by combining live drum tracks to a single track). In addition to that there is a little synth part in the background, a looperman scratch loop by moe46 and the acapella track by HEMANIFEZT.

So we are trying to do tracks which are hiphop based but done with real instruments as well as traditional hiphop elements. So it is not 100% hiphop but this is the tag that most fits it. Also, the excellent rap "makes" this song, so it has to be hiphop.
