Description : My fellow Looperman ShortBusMusic pointed me in the direction of this fantastic acapella (thanks Bear)https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/118506
The timing is a little odd and there are a couple of 3/4 bars in there to keep you on your toes. Acoustic guitar on one side and my Godin Xtsa on it's acoustic setting on the other. Electric down the middle picking out the chords, acoustic piano, strings, EZdrums with a tam mirroring the snare, an arpeggio thing going on in the background and a self indulgent guitar solo. I had a great time putting this together!!

Description : my own recorded rendition of this very beautiful song - written by Beasly Smith and Haven Gillespie. This one was recorded by Loui Armstrong. All live "one take" tracks - nylon string acoustic rhythm guitar, electric lead guitar, electric bass, organ, vocals, drum loop and manual cymbol and kick drum hits - no backing vocals ... yetSearch Rating : 3.75
Description : I put this one together while looking out the window at the year's first snow. A good moody driving song to get lost in. Three chord slowhand blues progression. Thanks to Slap Johnson for the great sax loops used in this song. I used my GR-20 guitar synth for a few of instruments including the Rhodes Organ, always a fun toy compared to doing on my keyboard sometimes. Most of the recording was done with my new Les Paul Studio guitar, err... (until i I broke a string on the outro, so I decided to throw in a Fender Strat too to finish it up. LOL) See if you can pick out the tonal difference between the two guitars for fun. I hope you enjoy this song and comments are always most welcome. Cheers and thanks so much. Description : This is a song I have been working on and off for some time. It is basically Heavy Rock in nature. The drums are loops arranged by me.Incorporates Fender Bass, Framus (Les Paul copy) for leads, and rhythm guitar. Some rhythm guitar parts were as loops for fill in.
Basically I used ProTools for putting it all together and the reverb/delay effects were from there as well.
Hope you like it.

Description : A collaboration with MusicIzMee4Ever and a real musical journey for me. I hope the quite heavy guitar, bass and live drum sound doesn't overpower the great vocals. The guitar is played in with a wah wah setting from my Roland GR55. The piano part is played in on my Nanokey and is patch in Logic (now running version 9). Drums using EZdrummer and an additional percussion part well back in the mix from Logic.Search Rating : 3.75
Description : A collaboration with Farisha and my interpretation of a fantastic vocal acapella. My Ovation double tracked and panned hard right and left with a fretless bass played in using my Casio MG510 midi guitar. Drums from EZdrummer and some additional percussion in the shape of a guiro, agogo and a cowbell. Apologies for the mental guitar solo but I wanted something that cut right across the laid back landscape.Search Rating : 3.75
Description : idk why but i thought id make something a little "heroic" sounding. im not sure i might add guitar to it, or i might put it up for download and let someone throw in their own guitar trax. id really like to see what everyone thinks about that idea or any new ideas anyone else wants to throw in. =]Search Rating : 3.75

Description : Thought i should get more organic and write a track featuring my voice and my guitar . I sat down worked out a bassline on the guitar that sounded good with an electro synth riff I created and the lyrics came naturally after that. Actually this whole track's a massive departure for me since it's the first time I've written anything at house tempo and first time i've recorded myself singing.... I'm massively out of my D and B comfort zone with this track but the whole process has been nothing but fun . Tell me what you think even if you think it stinks!Search Rating : 3.75

Description : UPDATE 26/01/2014: Improved loads of things in what is probably my greatest chillout alternative blues piece. Ambient, ethereal, groove-based delta slide blues. Contemplative and melodic. Multiple, layered , sometimes shimmering resonator guitar parts with solid, warm synth bass, an ethereal bed of pads (which are actually guitars) and second electronic drumkit to contrast the acoustic kits. I thought this was perfect a few years ago but it wasn't (and still isn't). Now has clearer drums and lots of small awkward bits of guitar have been trimmed. Quite a minimalistic and short piece for me - I don't just keep bringing in new instruments, as I usually do. This should really chill you out...Search Rating : 3.75
Description : Surf guitar and electro pop instrumental. I started the track out experimenting with TU2 sequencer and built up on that with a nod to 1960's surf guitar and beat music which I'm a bit fond of.Search Rating : 3.75

Description : I rarely get tracks done these days so I don't have many up. Luckily, A member contacted me for a hip hop tune. I wanted to get the framework done by the weekend(this past weekend 2-10-11). I went with the 101 arrangement. Simple but effective to get things rolling. Thats about it.Everything was recorded using Propellerhead's Record 1.5. Hardware used was just a controller(axiom pro) and a guitar processor(Pod Xt). Nothing else unless you count a guitar as hardware lol.
It's a demo, unmastered, rough mix. Let me know if theres anything off or just post me a random review about a funny viral video on the net. It's all good. I'm not picky, Cheers :D
Updated 2-23-11
I ran this mix through multi band compression to brighten it up. Original sounded muddier than heck lol.

Description : A hybrid of cross-over of hip-hop, hard rock & pop. Featuring the vocals of Ciera Corr. This is kind of a fresh approach for me as I usually don't hit some of these genres, but couldn't resist the progression, beat and feel of this one which is seductive, dark and heavy which would go well with guitar. Some real fun chunky axe lines, grinding chords, dual guitar lines and a little shred for interest. Cheers and comments always welcome. Thanks - Bill ( Bilbozo )Search Rating : 3.75
Description : I decided to split the original track into two parts because of size. This is track 8 on, 'A Misty Dream.'
I started this track out by playing an acoustical guitar through a pick up and also through a mic. I then added some effects. Then arranged the loops around this guitar pad that I created.

Description : This is a track that I made in Garageband '11. It's called 'Guitar in the Park' because of the bird sounds at the beginning and end of the song (in the park). I did use the 'Rhythm Section' Jam pack from Apple, but only the software instruments. Not the loops! This means that I played the notes on the computer keyboard. (I don't have a MIDI keyboard). The guitar tunes tracks and mixes listed here are copyright and may not be used in your projects.
