Description : A collaboration with Farisha and my interpretation of a fantastic vocal acapella. My Ovation double tracked and panned hard right and left with a fretless bass played in using my Casio MG510 midi guitar. Drums from EZdrummer and some additional percussion in the shape of a guiro, agogo and a cowbell. Apologies for the mental guitar solo but I wanted something that cut right across the laid back landscape.

Really nice vibe going on here. Again you've taken a vocal and turned it into a masterpiece. It sounds like a proper studio recording session. Love the guitar soloing and digging the mix down. I can't understand why this hasn't had more attention as it's truly brilliant. The panning on the vocals is great and the harmonising is superb. Sounds like you spent a long time mixing this one down and it was an absolute pleasure to listen to.

Thanks for the comments. They really are very much appreciated. This is such an early song for me and I actually thought about remixing and doing the guitar solo again (I'm not too happy with the sound). The vocals were as I got them and all on one track (albeit a stereo track) so I had to work with what I had. I did do some cut and pasting towards the end just to bring it up for the finale. I just love Farisha's work. An really privilege to work with.
One year already, but what freshness, what orchestration!
It is true that the voice is superb, but the artist who also accompanies.
I get up, and I applaud loudly .... and sorry for this oversight.
It goes without saying, this is fantastic. Love your interpretation of the vocals. There's something so laid back about this that I could listen to it all day, really puts me in the mood for summer..
Honestly? Not so keen on the guitar solo personally,.. But a minor detail in the grand scheme of things..
Glad you liked the feel of this and thanks for your comments. You're the only one who has picked up on the solo and I have to admit I was never that happy with it from the start. The patch is terrible!! I wanted something that cut right across the whole thing and I think I have achieved that in a bad way! When time permits I'll get back to it and try again.
Just checking through my tracks reviews and noticed I haven't responded to your comments here. My apologies.
I always appreciate your take on my work and particularly comments on the individual bits that make it up. Lots of acoustic guitar on this track (Ovation Celebrity) and most of it the old fashioned way using a mic (old school!) Farisha is such a talent - we need more quality like this.
Thanks again for taking the time to listen and post a review. Appreciate it.
The vibe is how I heard it. I really enjoyed working on this track and hope the mental guitar solo doesn't take anything away from the fantastic vocal lines.
Sometimes I can't resist putting a guitar solo in a song - just for some contrast. Yes, Farisha is incredible. Glad you liked my interpretation of the song.

Description : I wrote this song a little while ago and originally called it "Gave You All Of Me" but I came across a beautiful track Free to use by HVRTZLAB and decided to exercise My Vocals & do a rough draft on this track. May re-do the full song at some point when I get more time. THX to all who support My work. Stay Safe/Blessed People.
Description : Whilst remixing an older song I did discover Purpl from Bristol here in the Acapella section. She was also looking for a remix and now I merged both songs together. It was a pleasure to do because it feels like a positive song lifting up the mood. Hope she is Ok with putting her into a different genre. And yes, the kick is a bit cheesy :-)

Yes, a year ago. I think I have progressed a little since this song. Farisha has an amazing voice and it was one of my first collaborations.
Glad you liked it and thanks for the kind words. Merci beaucoup.

This track is radio ready, a great track to listen to while driving down the highways of the US.
Beautiful work Richie, and a tip of the hat to Farisha for the great vocal work.
