Description : Another collaboration with Farisha (love those vocals). I played in the bass part and and the piano part using my old faithful Casio MG510 midi guitar triggering some sounds in Logic Pro. The acoustic is me again on the Ovation. I really like the sound of live drums and the EZdrummer plugin is as close as it gets - I really like it. The cymbal crashes and splash are from Logic.

Description : A collaboration between myself and Farisha (love those vocals). Laid back vibe, acoustic guitars, a little string wash, string bass and a simple drum pattern plus sumptuous harmonies. I played the two acoustic rhythm guitars (panned hard left and right) and the short solo. The solo is my Ovation Celebrity through an AKG 3000B microphone. The bass was played in using my Korg Nano keyboard. The drums are Ultrbeat.

Description : Two country songs in one. Both songs are in the key of 'D'. A number of different loops used along with my own playing and arranging.
The first song includes, Slide guitar, Banjo, Piano, Fiddle, and the normal assortment of guitars, bass and drums.

Second song contains Mandolin and guitar with the front and rear pickups switched out of phase to give it a unique sound.

Description : Well it's been a really long time since I've uploaded anything. I'm a hobbyist so sometimes real life takes over and I just don't have time to really make anything.

So here is a rough draft of a metal track I'm working on. I put it together in the span of a few days, a couple hours each day, adding to the guitar and tweaking the sound. It's still not perfect, and I want to add some stuff and re-record a few parts. If anyone does metal vox feel free to download the track, add your vocal track, and send me it so I can remaster everything to fit together. Tools used: Cubase 5, Amplitube, and Addictive Drums, among other things.

Due to some feedback received and my own dislike for the original posting of this track, I have completely revamped the vocals and adjusted levels as well as added to the whole feel of the song. Hope this sound better. Peace and Animal Crackers.

Okay, This goes back to the near beginning for me. I first made this track shortly after I joined this sight, but it never felt quite right. Well, after two years, it's done. This is part one. I used the original track that I made with loops from this sight, then I added my own drums, bass, guitars and voice. I will admit that both tracks, part one and part two both have the same vocals (hey it worked for Slipknot!) just drastically different sounds. Hope you enjoy them as they were alot of work, although truly a labor of love. Let me know what you think, as feedback is truly appreciated and wanted. Enjoy

Description : A recording I did a few years ago. I guess I don't pull out my old Strat enough, so this was fun to experience the twangy tone that I loved so much that came with it. I wanted to capture and go back to some of the spiritual influenced playing I used to do, wind things down but in a emotional way. Ambient Blues with a latin twist. Instrumental ballad designed to pull at the heart in solitude. I love to play my guitar like a voice, and try to capture a mood . Selection of clean and overdriven electric guitars. Piano, clavs and hammond on my Axiom. Drums are samples and loops. If anyone has heard of artist Colin James, this was his his influence he inspired me with. Enjoy and comments always most welcome. Description : UPDATE 26/01/2014: Improved loads of things in what is probably my greatest chillout alternative blues piece. Ambient, ethereal, groove-based delta slide blues. Contemplative and melodic. Multiple, layered , sometimes shimmering resonator guitar parts with solid, warm synth bass, an ethereal bed of pads (which are actually guitars) and second electronic drumkit to contrast the acoustic kits. I thought this was perfect a few years ago but it wasn't (and still isn't). Now has clearer drums and lots of small awkward bits of guitar have been trimmed. Quite a minimalistic and short piece for me - I don't just keep bringing in new instruments, as I usually do. This should really chill you out...

I had to respond to the 4-track challenge and here's my entry – a Transatlantic Experience tune called Music man. I wrote the music in Sweden and Jim Byrd wrote the lyrics and sang in in Philly PA.

track 1: Drums – apple loops
track 2: Bass – Kikajon (precision through a Marshall)
track 3: guitar – Kikajon (strat through an Orange–stack)
track 4: vocals – Tacatta

Description : Just a little something I composed the other day, got nothing for, then deleted a few of the synth patterns out of it.

Track 1- Drums (they're all attatched to FL studios FPC)
Track 2- Pad
Track 3- Arp
Track 4- Wobble bass

Its one of my better dubstep tracks, the buildups lacking a bit, but after the challenge I may go on to improve this.

Description : THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION OF MY TRACK "In paradise".

I've been working on and off this track for over a year now. Each time I've never been fully satisfied... until now. This is a 10 minute remix of a track that was originally 2 minutes long. Its also my first time using pitcher and newtone on my voice (hopefully it won't be a regular thing and I can use my actual voice in the future though)

The first three minutes of this track is the introduction, starting off with a wierd panning drumloop made with a few electro drum sounds that came with fl studio, and slowly adding more sounds to it.

The following 6 minutes are me playing around with loads of different drum loops, and my own voice.

The last two minutes or so is an outtro, ending with the same drumloop as in the start.

The guitar was made using string theory and image lines "Hardcore" plugin, the piano is a heavily filtered FL keys, the pads are four filtered samples, and the strings and bass were made with synth1- arguably the best freeware synth out there. The drums were manually placed into the FPC then sequenced.

Description : Wow ! It's been a while since I did something since I had bummed up my shoulder last month.

Remember Me ( Recuerdame ) is a latin guitar rock instrumental track that is based somewhat on the cover progression by & la Quinto Estacion. I played all the instruments and layed out the music beds and changed the progression and tempo a bit to make it interesting. (authorized through Harry Fox Agency #SL26498)

A real emotional piece in the key of E Minor Mixolydian and Penatonic. Features, some cookin' electric guitar, acoustic flamenco, piano and strings. I'm not a drummer so the drums were compliments of Toontrack Superior Drummer

This was therapy to get the arm back into shape. I'm so glad to be back making music again ! Perhaps it's time to do a few more collabs too...Woohoo
