Description : A pretty apt representation of where I'm at in life right now.I would call it atmoshpheric as opposed to ambient but I think this is the best choice out of the available options.
Made entirely with midi.
Comments and critiques appreciated. I know there's a point where the synth mallets (You'll know them when they come in) are a bit too quiet, particularly toward the end of the song, so I'm aware of that already.
Instruments used are piano, synth mallet, synth, and drums.
There's a bit of inspiration from Minecraft's music and the instrumental tracks on Linkin Park's "A Thousand Suns" album (the distinction between the two is pretty evident, I hope). The mallet part didn't come from anything in particular.
Enjoy.

Description : Loving the new site, feels really great! Heres another little celebratory demo track that I should really update some time soon. This time, it's a nice little chilled out DNB track, full of wierd chords that I don't normally use, and made using mostly freeware VSTs and samples from free sample packs, composed in FL Studio 10 over the course of about 8 hours (so far)EDIT 1:
Added bongos, a change in strings, nice little effect section in the middle, changed the drums up a bit, and added a pretty nice little arp near the end. Still a WIP.

Description : Update: chorus volumes. The first version of this tune was a part of my bands repertoire back in the eighties. Back then the lyrics was in Swedish but the vocals in this recording is an adlib in english based on the same theme.
Apple loops for the drums, garageband, Logic, precision, strat and my cranky voice disturbing the neighbours. Enjoy!

Description : ccMixter.org has some a thing called Secret Mixter, where you need to make a remix using stuff from another ccMixter. This is where my track comes from. I was assigned for a sound engendering who had uploaded a professional Acapella. I have also gotten many samples from ccMixter, all listed here:http://ccmixter.org/api/query?t=upload_histogram&ids=32419
It's not my favourite kind of music, but I really enjoyed having done it.
It's the first time i did something a little bit decent. The drums are rubish, but I really tried to push on Brass. I kind of fell in love for remixing when I had recorded a sax line on Reason, but it sounded a bit fake. Then i founded a sax sample which perfectly matched with the sax i had recorded. Played together they didn't sound fake.
Remix is beautiful!

Description : This is a song I have been working on and off for some time. It is basically Heavy Rock in nature. The drums are loops arranged by me.Incorporates Fender Bass, Framus (Les Paul copy) for leads, and rhythm guitar. Some rhythm guitar parts were as loops for fill in.
Basically I used ProTools for putting it all together and the reverb/delay effects were from there as well.
Hope you like it.

Description : A collaboration with MusicIzMee4Ever and a real musical journey for me. I hope the quite heavy guitar, bass and live drum sound doesn't overpower the great vocals. The guitar is played in with a wah wah setting from my Roland GR55. The piano part is played in on my Nanokey and is patch in Logic (now running version 9). Drums using EZdrummer and an additional percussion part well back in the mix from Logic.Search Rating : 2.19
Description : This is actually a song that just happened. I was playing my guitar when I suddenly got this lick in my head and I recorded it as a demo for my bandmates in Transatlantic Experience. The adlib vocals is just for Jim and Allen to get an idea about the melody, so the words might not make total sense.I use a Macbook Pro, Garageband, Logic, Strat, fretless Presicion and have tolerant neighbours. Apart from the Apple loops drums, it's all me. Even if it's a rough first demo for my bandmates, I'm curious to know what you think about the tune so far...

p.s. The finished result will eventually turn up on the TransatlanticExp page here on Looper.

Description : A collaboration with Farisha and my interpretation of a fantastic vocal acapella. My Ovation double tracked and panned hard right and left with a fretless bass played in using my Casio MG510 midi guitar. Drums from EZdrummer and some additional percussion in the shape of a guiro, agogo and a cowbell. Apologies for the mental guitar solo but I wanted something that cut right across the laid back landscape.Search Rating : 2.19
Description : I think this is Drum and Bass. It sounds like it to me. Please correct me if you think otherwise. Thing is it's only 90BPM ! Is that too slow to be D & B ? I started off this track by messing about with some synth sounds. I wanted to produce something atmospheric & moody sounding. Once I had done that I kinda knew how I wanted the drums & percussion to sound. When I had began to find them I thought - Hmmmmmmm Drum & Bass sounding to me. By the time I had put the vocals on (some loops from an EJay D & B disc collection) and added some extra bass I had ended up with this. I'm pleased with it as I like it and I think it works ok. Not brilliant but ok (maybe a bit more melody somewhere along the line). The mix may need a tweak here & there, please advise me on that if you care to. To be honest I was working on something along the lines of a chilled type Prodigy track & I seem to have ended up with a Goldie type track. Anyway enough of my ramblings. I hope you enjoy the track & thanx for taking time to stop by & listen. Peace, love & justice to y'all peopleSearch Rating : 2.19

Description : Not sure about the sideboards on the Ethnic genre. Trying out new sounds here. I'm using sitar and marimba with Indian and Indonesian drums. Does the listener need a solo or spoken word after the melody or does the open part work by itself?I think it's a good piece. Almost.

Description : omg. I did my first dubstep song. Well. it's very short, so you can call it unfinished ;) But I hope you can review this work so far and share your meaning! It's 100bpm and after i failed in doing some drums, I used a drumloop from here. sry but i forgot to write down the genius of this drumloop. but thank you so much!OH! I almost forgot:

Description : Another collaboration with Farisha (love those vocals). I played in the bass part and and the piano part using my old faithful Casio MG510 midi guitar triggering some sounds in Logic Pro. The acoustic is me again on the Ovation. I really like the sound of live drums and the EZdrummer plugin is as close as it gets - I really like it. The cymbal crashes and splash are from Logic.Search Rating : 2.19
Description : A collaboration between myself and Farisha (love those vocals). Laid back vibe, acoustic guitars, a little string wash, string bass and a simple drum pattern plus sumptuous harmonies. I played the two acoustic rhythm guitars (panned hard left and right) and the short solo. The solo is my Ovation Celebrity through an AKG 3000B microphone. The bass was played in using my Korg Nano keyboard. The drums are Ultrbeat.Search Rating : 2.19
Description : Blues? Well, it has blues ingredients. I'm just triggering a Persian Santoor and a Chinese Guzheng Zither over Lotus drums and cymbals.Named for the slowest pitcher in baseball.
