Description : This is my first serious attempt at a country song.
I am playing all instruments except for the drums....they are MIDI.
The song allowed me the opportunity to try my son-in-laws 1981 Gibson J40 acoustic, my new Dean Resonator Guitar and my new harmonica.
I hope you enjoy.

Whoa Mark you are killing it in this track. I absolutely love the music. The vocals are very crisp and sit out front. Love the lyrics. Overall you did a fantastic job on this. Keep it up, this is good stuff. We should try to collab on a country track sometime, its my favorite genre so I have been working on writing a lot more country tunes.

Really like your work. Listened to a lot of your songs. I have been writing lyrics for about 4 years now and am a us marine who is trying to get into country singing. Was wondering if you would be willing to work with me on making a few tracks or if you would be willing to send or sell me some of the tracks so I can get started. (Sadly I don't play any instruments myself at this time and I have just been playing around with some different recording programs and apps.) If you would be interested or willing to help me out then I will put your information on all tracks I upload and send the ones I add to back as well so you will have them and can give your piece as well. Please let me know ASAP. My email is if its easier to call and talk, just shoot me a message and ill give you my number. Hope to work with you in the future.

    Sincerely
    Matt

The wind whistles through my ears
As I hear the train coming in
When the man beside me asks
"Son, whatcha doin' here?"

"Well I thought I'd settle a score
From fifteen years ago"
The man said "I wouldn't do that son"
Then he showed me a badge and a gun

Well I don't know why
I had to spill my plan
And of all the people
It had to be the man

He said "Son, you look real pale
Came here to stop you now
For there are many reasons
That you could
But if I were in your shoes
I don't think I would
He served his time, he's on his own dime
And they say he is a changed man
Out on parole after 14 years
After what he did to your wife back then"

solo

"Well you know who I am
And now I know who you are
Can't sleep and my wife can't eat
After the damage that he done
Just because he did his time
Doesn't mean that we are good
I'll leave it up to the good Lord now
And be with my wife like I should"

solo

"You know son
It was her that tipped me off
About you comin"

Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).

This instrumental features no guitars or regular drums. Rhythm here is provided by a Dulcimer, a Shaker and a drum like instrument called a Djembe. (An instrument from Africa, looking like a tall Bongo drum)

An acoustic stand-up Bass is used along with a 4 string Banjo, and the Fiddle is the main instrument.
Put all these together and this is the sound you can have. Hope you'll like it.

Description : Hi ya,

Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.

The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.

Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.

Hope you like it.

Description : I had a dream a few years ago that my Mom was still alive and she met my wife for the first time. This song is about that dream.
This should be classed as Country Rock or Southern Rock but those genres aren't available.
Using a fender Strat on the left, Gibson Les Paul on the right…intro lead is the LP and outro lead is the Strat. Drums written in MIDI. Harmonica, vocals, bass performed by yours truly.
Feedback is always welcome.

Description : This is the best backing track I could come up with for my Country (?) lyrics. It has taken 4 years (off & on)to come up with a finished tune. I tried to get someone else to sing it to no avail, so I did it. I misplaced the audio file s I don't know if any Looperman folks loops are in it.

Description : This collab is with the OCR Boys, (Bobby & Steve), DJ's at KickinCountry101.com. I got the bass, acoustic tracks and drums and Bobbys vocals. I dusted off the harmonica, brought out the oldFender Strat, the pedal steel and the midi-guitar for the fiddle parts for this one. Not my usual fare but I had been in a few country bands back when country was cool in the 90's. A great Nashville sounding song about growing up on the great Tennessee River.Comments always welcome. - Bilbozo
