Let me start with the drums: Scott is the man! Superb.
Then the guitar: funky with a touch of rock. Again: superb!
The vocal track: good, very good.
And let's not forget the bass: well balanced, funky at the right point, without exaggerating. Loved.

PS: you mentioned you played everything but drums, well I have to say you have a very high pitched voice for being a MrMidiMan ;-)
Yes I did play everything except the drums that is me on a Squire jazz bass I picked up recently. I am kind of digging playing bass. I have not played Bass much since my main instrument is guitar.
Coming from a bass player it is nice to hear it did it justice.
