Description : My fellow Looperman ShortBusMusic pointed me in the direction of this fantastic acapella (thanks Bear)https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/118506
The timing is a little odd and there are a couple of 3/4 bars in there to keep you on your toes. Acoustic guitar on one side and my Godin Xtsa on it's acoustic setting on the other. Electric down the middle picking out the chords, acoustic piano, strings, EZdrums with a tam mirroring the snare, an arpeggio thing going on in the background and a self indulgent guitar solo. I had a great time putting this together!!

Description : Background music for Sami documentary film.Lars Levi Læstadius (January 10, 1800 - February 21, 1861) was a Swedish Lutheran pastor of partly Sami ancestry.
Laestadius was invited by the French Admiralty to participate in the La Recherche Expedition of 1838-40. He was recognized for his knowledge in botany and of the Sami languages that the expedition would undertake. Laestadius was a field guide for the islands and in the interior of Northern Norway and Sweden, studying both plant life and the culture of the Sami inhabitants for the expedition. During this project and long afterward, Laestadius started his manuscript Fragments of Lappish Mythology which described a snapshot of the Sami traditional religious beliefs that were passing into history due to the Christianization program in full swing at that time

Description : Originally wanted to go for a DnB track but ended up as usual with a something completely different. This is definitely a dirty filthy song for when you find yourself on websites we ALL visit and non of us admit. BIG UPS to Ms J for the inspiring background vocals. Also like sex this thing builds up to best part which is at the end so get through the first 30secs and you'll be rewarded! ;)

Description : Ok guys, this is somewhere between Rap and R&B... I really wasn't sure what to label it but its a really good track that i've been working on. It has a smooth electric guitar, smooth strings, and a keyboard in the background if you really play attention to it lol. Once again hope you guys enjoy it and you can expect more tracks soon. Comments are welcomed.

Description : Been a log time since I was able to create a new tune because of so much overtime at work....I had to just stop making music. But now with retirement for sure on Mar. 31, I'll have more time for music for sure.This new tune I called 'Gunga Din', is a heavy rock sort with tight drums and added synth in the background to give it a growling sound that fits. The song is made up of various loops I liked and my own playing as well. Two different guitars and various guitar tones and effects were used....and a little experimenting with harmonics.
So give it a listen and see what you think.

Description : You don't hear much of any traditional country here so here ya go ! I had the opportunity to play with a couple of fine country gents. "Crazy Over You" featuring country legends Buddrumming on Drums, Scott "Bassman" McLeod on bass and vocals, and Bilbozo on guitars, pedal steel and background vocals. Some porch style country fun. Description : This track was originally started on May 9th of 2009. Basically everything from the drum beat, metal toy piano, the background drone/effects, and that weird guitar thingy lol, were already in place. I didn't work on it for a whole 24hrs. I put in a lot of time and scrapped some stuff. Kinda found out why this track never got finished. Basically what was added was some glitching of the drums(Thank you mr Dr. Octorex!) and laid out some wack solo guitar-ish noise. I don't feel its finished it's just one of those track that just kinda stays that way I guess.Originally made with Reason 4 and updated with Reason 5 and Record 1.5, Cheers :D

Description : Even though the beat is incomplete (Still trying to layer the drums a bit more, and throw some ambiance in the background) I thought it was decent enough to post up here.Kind of melodramatic, all natural instruments (orchestral, 12 string) except for the chorus bassline and the drumkit.

Description : This was a song i made for my ex gf i never got to finish...long story how it happened but i promised her i would finish this song. she always complained how just the acoustic version was sad. but it my eyes it was a happy song because of how i could hear it in my head and background and if she ever hears this, i kept my promise. well i kinda wanted some hiphop rockish flow to it with auto tuned chorus. this isn't the final copy. but at least i got to a stopping point. im guessing if you can read the story behind the music go ahead lol let me hear it. also tell me how you like the setup and drums, guitar, piano. Thanks.

Description : I hope I will not get sued and thrown in jail - but I really wanted to share my interpretation of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game with you guys.I recorded this a while ago, and I would like to think I have gotten a little better ... but anyhoot. Maybe you like it, maybe you dont. As always - I welcome all comments / advice, etc.
(As mentioned in my profile - you can properly hear me playing the pennywhistle / indian flute in this - in my other tracks I tend to blend it into the mix in the background)

Description : Heres something a little more relaxing I did. The intro pads and wind were made with kore player, and so were the drums. The guitar is FL slayer with some delay on it, and thats about it for the moment!Again I've recycled one of my older melodies into a better, newer song. Only I don't think I've changed Trance to Chillout before.
EDIT! OK I've updated this track by getting rid of some of the ambience in the background, changing the delay, and changing the way the drums come in.

Description : This was done three months ago in Fl 9, is an experiment mixing a voice in the background (from here in the acapellas section), a kind of progressive things that have no relation to each mixing voices from the movie The Godfather.

Description : At first with this one i was lost, just couldnt figure out how to incorperate the loops provided into a track! But after some chopping and effects i maganged to use- bassloop 1,Pad 1 which was chopped and the smallest amount used but worked pretty effectivly, both synth loops, dusthills for the main synth, then chopped synth 2 with a slight phaser and wahwah added with some echo too and it suprised me how well and effective it turned out! The tabla loop thrown in for some background beat in the middle of the song, and the smallest insignificant woodwind loop that i chopped and reversed. I recorded my didgeridoo for the middle section, ive been meaning to get some into the mix so that good too. All with some nice dubstep style drum, so i spose ill put it in that genre! so i hope you all enjoy.

I'm in love with the bells an the flute background... XD
Sounds mystical, sad, mysterious, fascinating, calm, I think I could hypnotize someone with this XD

Description : I made this track on FL9. I hear so much on this song, you can rap or sing to this one. Knowing, me......I'd rap to it, and let somebody sing the hook. I like this track though. Especially the trumpets in the background how they have that crescendo thang goin on, makin it a little bit more tasteful. I know most ballads are soft, but man come on. Music is not a traditional thing that people can just keep the same format. So with this I took a soft loop, and put some flavor behind it. Enjoy it.
