Description : I hope we got your attention on this one :), this is another hiphop flavoured track we did. All 4 Guitar parts by me, bass by Bhunt1, drums by rp3drums (he did all the work by combining live drum tracks to a single track). In addition to that there is a little synth part in the background, a looperman scratch loop by moe46 and the acapella track by HEMANIFEZT.So we are trying to do tracks which are hiphop based but done with real instruments as well as traditional hiphop elements. So it is not 100% hiphop but this is the tag that most fits it. Also, the excellent rap "makes" this song, so it has to be hiphop.
If you have any comments or advice, let's hear it. Thanks to the guys for letting me have their tracks, thanks to HEMANIFEZT for letting everyone use his acapellas. Hope you enjoy it. Peace, TG

Description : This piece is an ambient thing I'm working on. Recording the guitars, vocals and bass myself. Then programmed the electronic and acoustic drum samples. Also used a few glitch samples in the background for the drums. I also added a soprano choir section over top of me for a harmony. Really could see a standoff going down on this track, fingers twitching and whanot lol. Enjoy

Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.

Description : I took this loop set provided by the7thmusic and I added a few things here and there, but you hear the violin loops to start and then a breathy vox type that I added comes in. This meant to be one person conversing, and the string type add( sorry for the terrible descriptions )in the middle where it breaks is a person stuck in the middle, the second breathy vox to come in the latter part is the other person. So its almost a conversation between three people, if that makes sense, with the loops acting as a background of sorts. Makes sense right??I am only putting a link to a strings loop but you can use this to find the other loops as well, there are 7 total. Thanks!

Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).
The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.
Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.

Description : The start...I bought myself an electric guitar and that was the initial start for this song. After some chords i thought it would be nice with a vocal track and one of the best sources for that is just looperman. So i found EpicRecord and Yeah. Then i needed background vocals and turned to one of my previous songs and found Charlene's voice. After a while i found Janis71 and her work and it was merged into the song.
But I must say what I'm most proud of in this song is the trumpet and saxophone work . I really wish I could play that instrument for real and not just on the keyboard.

Razing Chronos is a travel to the time: the start is the present the middle is the past and the end is the future all that with some dark and creepy background theme. Description : This is a deep house/techno track I made with AmbientNation's "You Clung to my Skin" acapella. I mostly used the acapella for background sounds (honestly, I'm still not sure if I should include it at all). I used the minimoog V and FM8 vsts for all of the synth patches, and the drums come from a number of sources. This is a work in progress so any critiques will be much appreciated.

Description : I heard janis71's "Miss You" acapella and liked it, so I made a song with it. I also used her "Haaaaaaa" acapella for some background vocals. For the synth sounds I used the minimoog V and Phoscyon vsts, and for the drums I used 505 and 909 samples. This is still a work in progress, so any advice would be very helpful and much appreciated.

Description : Adjusted added effects as advised. Now with none.Edited ong I came up with this afternoon. My guitar and I with one mic and delay. Then layered with backing vocals. Description : This song is for this film project that my friend is doing.The idea of the song is to describe a woman in this film,who has the bad things in her past coming back to remind her about her past.
In this song,that woman is actually becoming insane from all that wrongdoings in her past,she becomes insane.The poem on the background is going on and on in her head and in the end,that is the only thing she has in her head.
The poem is Spanish acapella by Hektor Tillet called : Libre como el ave vivo como el verdor.
