Description : Sometimes you just wanna create outside teh box and make something which does not fit any genre but let your mind do the work. After a few hours this is what came out of it. Let me know what you think of it and what style this should be or reminds you on.

Almost forgot about his track. I made that one with serum a long time ago. I like weird music as well as long as it is somewhat cohesive :-). Thanks for taking a listen, Rita!

I like the sound you have achieved here! I too almost expected Joe Cramer's voice to break in with his style of vocals. It stands well on it's own, but I always enjoy this sort of music with lyrics to anchor them. With that in mind, it does remind me a lot of Depeche Mode. That is something to be proud of for sure, as I have heard few that can successfully do that sort of style. Sounds very good throughout! Very cool composition! Fave!

Thanks a lot for the comment! As mentioned below I was occupied teh last time and did not pay attention to music. But now I am back and filled with ideas again :-). I definetly think Joe his voice would be damn good on this one. I might ask him what he thinks about it.

I had to fave this one before I got half way in!
I know the genre for it too.
Umpa Lumpa music.
How the hell you're really supposed to describe this I don't know. Maybe .... unique.
It's dark and I was expecting Joe Kramers voice to pop up at any time. This one I've found quite inspiring.

Thank you very much for your comment. As I heard it sounds a bit like dark wave music. I didnt know it by the time I made this track. I just had a fun time making it :-). Sorry for the late reaction though. Had some family matters which took all of my tiem for teh last 3 months.

Its an interesting song, I would say its in the industrial realm... And yeah very 80´s, if there could be any comparison with other bands... I would say depeche mode, the knife and fever ray...
mudhoen replied 8th May 2016 - 8 years ago
Thank you for pointing them out. Fever ray made the vikings theme as well. Never knew that. I will check them out some more!

This is 80's (dark) Wave music :) and is really cool.
I enjoyed the listen. Good sounds, well used and nice mixed.
You done all right Mudhoen

stay tuned
mudhoen replied 8th May 2016 - 8 years ago
Thanks Joe for your kind words. Funny that it is a genre on its own. Never knew this.

I ain't an expert when genres are in question so I can't say much in which drawer to put it, but I think it even doesn't need a drawer!I will simply call it "tumba-tumba"
for now...haha....but man this is excellent! Your creativity shines....I truly enjoyed this journey packed wit many things....very inventive effort my friend ! It
certainly deserves a 'fav' be it !:)

mudhoen replied 7th May 2016 - 8 years ago
Thanks again Orlando. Tuma-Tumba it is hahaha. I am glad the track did not derail from using too much instruments or vst's. It feels fresh to make something completely different from what I usually make.

Description : A song I wrote over a guitar track that I found on YouTube. Link to the original track can be found below.

Have been attempting to write 2-3 songs over the past couple of months with little success, when this one just appeared out of nowhere.

It's a bit odd I guess (which is why I tagged it as weird) but I enjoyed creating and listening back to it, so here it is.

Thank you!

Description : Hey guys! Well, this is the first time I upload a song with my voice. I have to confess that this is not a style I usually sing. And, as an extra point, this is my first song in english. My native language is spanish, my english is not perfect, so sorry for mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, etc). Well, about lyrics, I explain the story on description of the instrumental version. If you want to read the story or hear the instrumental track, go here [ ]. This song was made on Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium and Adobe Audition 3.0. I hope you like it. Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...

Description : I haven't done anything in awhile. I got tired of screwing with this so just did some gain staging & panning & slapped it on here. It definitely sounds like something I would do.

Description : Again not sure of genre but it is kinda weird. Very much an experiment and Im not sure if it works but someone will let me know no doubt. If you can cope at all probably better with headphones. Pad sound is guitar treated with reverbs, crazy drums constructed from Akai kits and free jazz SFZ kit, sax samples and minimal synth line from arturia minifreak

Description : I found an old recording of me playing guitar on 8-track and decided to use it in a new track. All parts have been recorded using analogue equipment. I've then slowed down, sped up or reversed as I recorded them digitally. Then came the difficult part, attempting to piece it all together in ableton without everything being too out of time (there's no way to make it perfect).
Once I'd EQ'd out some of the loudest hiss, I started applying effects and eventually mastering it all.
What you get as a final product is a simple song executed in a very weird way. I'm quite happy with the disorienting effect. I hope you like it too :)

Description : This is is just a weird little acapella piece I was never able to find the chords to. Wrote it ages ago. I put it into a bad sounding round because I'm bored tonight.

Apparently I can ask for a collab. Gorsh. I doubt it's good enough to do anything with, but I'd be curious.

Description : Been out with a bad back the past few weeks so I didn't play any guitars on this one. It's all loops from Ableton, Adobe, EZ Drummer and packs I've accumulated over the years. Weird/industrial/post apocalyptic theme. Vocals have some level or none of the following: guitar amp, overdrive, vocoder and other effects.
