Description : This loop is meant to be used as a polymeter, so if you want to do that with it, simply cut off the last bar and you'll have proper hypnotic vibes. Made with Ocean Pluck and a great entry to the KVR challenge, Scintillate reverb.

Description : Made with Kong and a groove map from a Digitakt. Air Windows Taped FX used for tape compression. Simple but effective swing. Tribute for a lost soul.

Description : Trying out some new FX today. This loop is made with Plinko by Cymatics, a random pluck sound generator, then I put the output through two other new free tools - Janggo by Mercurial Tones (great volume shaper) and UJAM's new creative delay. A nice creative combo for making ambient sounds.

Description : This sample was meant to be a lead line but the Grind Synth combined with a filterbank and a beat repeat FX and all of a sudden the lead just disappeared into trippy psy fx territory. Not a melody anymore but definitely cool.

Description : Happy accident time! This loop is a result of recording some basic pads on my Juno-D and still having the effects set up from my previous loop. The result is this wah-inspired filtered and stuttering loop complete with strange artefacts caused by Synchonous and Alligator being on the master in Reason.

Description : I made this on the Virus while I was creating basslines on the Bass Station. It fits in with the Alternative Trance Bass 3 or 4 basslines if you want to make a kit. Hell, download a Trance Kicker loop and some psy fx loops and hi hat loops (all here on Looperman) and you're half way to a track!

Description : Working with my Bass Station to try and make some basslines that work for trance and psytrance that are not just rolling basses (a bit sick of rolling bass after working on my latest track for months). Tried these loops with regular trance sounds and they work fine, just alternatively :) Sequenced with Keystep Mk2.

Description : A trio of samples that go well together like a little kit was today's recording. A loungey bassline, a swung house beat and a human voice sliced up with Alligator in Reason. I left these all very dry so that you can add delay and reverb to taste if you mix them together in with your own music.

Description : Vital is such a good al rounder VSTi for all kinds of electronic music. This loop is just a basic supersaw type patch with a bit reducer added after (Klevgrand Degrader). I made this for a bushtechno project but it will work in multiple genres as a backing groove.

For the filtered effect I went a step further and used Reason's Alligator FX to make the old girl sound a bit more interesting. I also added Space Echo to these last three.

Description : House chords made with a cowbell sound in Cymatics Pandora (like Cymatics version of Kontakt basically). Pretty good old-school-lo-fi vibe about it. I also used the CRT plugin to warp the sound a touch for added 1980s goodness.
