Description : Percussion time. I made some bongo-type kits for Kong and recorded these nice swung patterns. They need the kick drum added before they come to life, but i will leave that to you! Reverb is a room reverb from Exoverb.

Description : Another MS2000 loop, made with a patch called 'trance chords'. I addedd a touch of Mannix saturation to the output as well. Reverb is just the built-in reverb on the MS2000.

Description : Some lovely people on the internet have made a nice Korg MS2000 emulator for free (search in Youtube if you're interested). It's a massive CPU hog but it sounds pretty good. Here is a Hard Trance lead I made with it.

Description : It's 2004 in Melbourne and you walk up the stairs of Bubble to hear this arp leadinging into a thunderous drop. Made with Access Virus C and nothing else, because the Virus raely needs anything else.

Description : Made with Arturia Analog Lab, and A1 Triggergate. Recorded in Reason.

Description : Trying my hand at a more Trap-like beat, with the hat rolls at least. Made with Kong. I used Audiomatic vinyl sim and Make it Scream (by WA Productions) saturation on the output.

Description : This rather harsh sound was made with my Bass Station at the request of a user here. It tries to emulate the Moog siren sound in a famous German song. As I don't have a Moog, this was the best I could do with the hardware I have.

Description : Recorded from my Bass Station II, through Zoom MS-70CDR+ pedal for chorus and reverb. More of a mid-bass layer than a pure bassline.

Description : Time for some Halloween spookiness. This loop was made with FM8 and Cymatics CRT. Reverb from Raum. It is kinda Bb but it goes off key too - perfect for that unsettling carnival feeling. Spoopy!

Description : Lord Nelson was a horrible man but his name popped into my head when I prgrammed this beat. Made with Kong and added Audiomatic Hi-Fi saturation.

Description : I was showing my daughter how synthesis works on my Bass Sation and came up with this glitchy sequence which brought us both joy! Extra FX include a volume shaper and tape delay.

Description : Groovy sidechained disco bass made with Surge XT. Saturation by WA Bass Shaper. Sidechaine effect by Side Kick. Add your own 4x4 kick drum to make it move.

Description : Styled after the hard trance/hard NRG music of my youth. Giant supersaw lead made with UJAM Detunicorn, FMD distortion and Raum reverb. Takes me back to my rave days!

Description : Virus again today - just love this synth! This loop will work as a subtle layer in any techno, trance, EDM or Techhouse track. IT's not the main event, it's just more flavour for your tune. I used Cymatics CRT on the recording to add more 90s weirdmess. Also FMD distortion to boost it a bit.

Description : Access Virus C, recorded into Ableton. Nice EDM plucks (as chords in B Major). No other FX - just the Virus.

Description : Just a loop made with a new strings VST called Synthapy. Nice plugin that adds movement to the strings so they sound more 'real'. Also used Cymatics Origin on the loop to make it sound older/vintage.

Description : Another Roland SP beat from me today. Roland SP-606 (using Roland's amazing vinyl sim) recorded into Reason and saturated with a touch of Airwindows ToTape.

Description : Recorded from Yamaha V50 FM synthesizer with NI Chorus used to make it more lush. Lovely pad for trance or any other EDM style, really.

Description : I didn't intend on making another EDM drum loop but I was trying out a new kit I made for Kong and the swing and groove of this just grabbed me. I have used Chili Clip to pump it up a bit , but other than that (and Reason's buss compressor) the loop is just Kong doing its thing.

Description : Got a new acid sequencer called Acid Attack (By Future Sound and it's free!) and tried it out sequencing one of my FM synths (Pivot) and got this intersiting loop. Reverb is Raum by NI.
