Description : Loop number 1000 for me and it's a very simple one. I took a reversed ride cymbal from my 505 (From Techno Kit 3), used Paulstretch to make it go over 8 bars, then added some DJ style resonant highpass filter to it with a DJFX plugin. Simple but very effective in the mix.

Description : I've been recording drum hits from my 505 today and this sound was in one of the collections (Drum n Bass 1) on the hardware. Not a good drum sound - but a very good riser sound, so here it is. Used UJAM Boost to polish it once recorded.

Description : The sound of a hyperactive kid on a paint tin - or just my 606 with some found sounds. Used a slight phasing effect on the loop for extra movement.

Description : New free preset pack for G Force Axxess came out so I was trying out the sounds and made this arp. Added UFX reverb to the sound.

Description : The JE-8086 is back with more trance arps. I can't get enough of this synth and I think it will influence a lot of EDM tracks this year! Such an iconic sound. I have used Dark Sky for the reverb on these loops, but apart from that, the sound is all from the Roland emulation.

Description : I've gone way back to the old school today, sampling my Yamaha V50 FM synth from the 80s, then chopping up sequences from it in Mimic, then adding FX like space delay, distortion and chorus to the chops to add a bit of modern flavour. These loops can easily be re-chopped in your own sampler and the chops will stay in key.
