Description : This track is as rough can get right now. So what makes it so special? Well, first off I was exploring all the different drum loops that came with Acid Music Studio 7.0. Anyways, as soon as I heard this drum loop it inspired me without warning. I copied the Drum loop and spread it out over more then enough measures to lay down my vocals on top off. I started singing. Complete Acapella style with nothing else besides the drums going. After a couple minutes my inspiration for Ad Lib words came to an end. Had more then enough of a foundation to pull from for a song. Now, MMmmmmm... interesting what chords will work or come close to working with it. So I set up another track and plugged my guitar straight in, did not have my Guitar Effects processor handy, so I ended up playing clean. Anyways, I hit record... and what you hear is what I came up with on the fly to what I just sung on the fly. Literally a song idea within a matter of minutes. I was Amazed that I actually sung in KEY. I've been struggling with being either slightly sharp or flat on notes for awhile now. Wow... something to be said for working with Acapella's. I've never laid down vocals first, with music coming second. OK, I'm not a DJ remix master of loops. Loops and software such as ACID, Reaper and you name really are awesome though. Anyways, this track is proof that Acapellas even of your own invention can be fun to work with. I've not sliced and diced anything yet. I just thought I'd share this track with others. It's a work flow method, one that I've never explored before. I kept the track somewhat short and did include the couple of minutes of me just jamming off on guitar leads. Hope this inspires other people a little with some food for thought.

Description : This track was a creation by accident, I just purchased a Digitech Live Vocalist effects processor and was experimenting with the Unison voice settings. I laid down a drum track, then started snagging at some bass loops, and tossing together a groove without much thought. Just started to make up some words and lay down some vocals to experiment with. Anyways, I put a little more time into making some adjustments to the Drums, Bass, Effects.. wrote up some more words for vocals I have yet to record. Right now, I'm just looking for some feedback on what I have laid down so far. Hope to finish this track off soon.

UPDATE: I've since uploaded a full demo of this track, I'm keeping this partial demo up for a little bit, so people can compare and give feedback on the progess.

The full track can be found here.

Description : Quite a big arrangement, lots of drums/percussion, string and brass parts along with bass and guitar. I'm a big fan of soundtrack music, especially 60's and 70's stuff. This song was influenced by the work of composer John Barry. Obviously it's not up to his standard of work, just my own take on the genre. This was recorded using a Fostex FD8 multitracker.

Description : I used various loops in this song (drums, bass, percussion) the rest of the instruments I played manually. This song wasn't created on a computer (I used my trusty FD8). My girlfriend reckons the song is best listened to on a car stereo whilst driving at night. Someone might agree ?

Description : Time for a new one. Based on recorded sounds from Alesis Fusion, Drums and Voices and additional FX from some Loops.
Specialy the voices came from Sony Sound Series: Pocketdiva (Online-Demosample) resampled with a little delay and all mixed on ACID Express.
Really had fun to make it, hope you also like to listen.

Description : Bought a Roland guitar synth and this track came from using that. Flutes, bass, keys etc all played on guitar. In fact everything was apart from the drums
