Description : Been working on the presets and turning those knobs abit..
I'm approaching 'my' sound now. This is where I wanna be sound-wise. When it comes to the track, its very much influenced by Blood Stained Child and In Flames. The synth-work was done by DJSaeo on the site. (Thanks man..!)
Hope its enjoyable.

Yummy! ... it is strange but that's the first word that came to my mind! I love the rhythm guitar tone!...it is thick, chunky and meaty like food perhaps! not well done nor too raw :D Just perfect!
(you might have guessed that I am hungry!)

The synths maybe need a little 'oomph' ... i hope you understand what i mean.

it is kickass song! ... makes you feel like annihilating anything that comes your way, thus, appropriately named 'Apocalypse'! :)

Hey this song sounds great,I saw you left me a review of one of my metal tracks ages ago so i figured i'd check your stuff out. very nice i must say. i like the blend of synth in it. i see production wise how you were going for the inflames tone. I do think this bit you have now of the main chords could open up alot nicer with your mid-hi's and hi's a little up, but not too much to take away the bassy tones in your guitars...a touch of reverb with no pre out or frequency reductions by the reverb could help maybe too. Very well structured, liked the solo section.

    Cheers to this one!

Another killer song. So sci-fi and fantasy sounding. I love your riffs so much. The synths are beautiful and when the track gets to that clean/chorus sound. just brilliant. You rule man!!

    Hey Crypt :)
I'm glad that you like the song. The synth-riff is not mine though, it was a loop that DJSaeo on the site shared - kudos to him for that!
I love the fusion between trance-like synths and scandinavian metal - so I try my best to make something like that when I record - thanks again man, see you around..!

Anytime someone asks me who is the best on Looperman for metal, I send them your direction. You set a very high standard in all that you do. You are also a bit of a visionary and this track shows why.

This is fusion people can sink their teeth into. Massive track from a guy with massive talent.

Faved. And I loved the break at the 1:40 mark...it allowed me to catch my breath, haha.

    Fantastic work, FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Wow man, this is absolutly legendary. I agree to one of the posts saying you should try take it up as a professional career. I'm lost for words that you used one of my synths in a total mind blowing song. I love it. Thank you.

Blew my mind... simply epic. I did hear the In Flames influence, just an influence. What type of vocals are you looking at putting here? I think a vocal akin to In Flames or Eluveitie would work. Keep it up.

Hey Druidikal. Its nice to see that my influences are reflected someway through my songs. I agree with you that In Flames- or Eliveitie-vocals would suit this one. Thank you for taking your time to leave a comment :)

I give send u message if I do. This really is great though ok picture this song starts and their is a small japanesse man plaing the keyboard then as the guitars and drums come in this is when the metal band busts through the wall and without missing a beat they start JAMMIN in unison AWESOME>

Yea dude the mixdown and mastering is sounding good. Everything can be heard without being too loud. Drums are perfect in volume. Guitars mixed well. Good job. The song flow is good too, I like how it goes to the clean classical sound. I like how the distorted guitar comes in and everything goes nuts. Almost to the point where it should come in before the synth does. But overall nicely done.

  23. Bilbozo
Bilbozo on Sun 25th Jul 2010 - 13 years ago

Wow now this is pretty cool...trance synth mixed with metal. Mixing genres really creates some exciting stuff. Loive your chops and that dirty tone. Very cool song...very impulsive overtones...creates a mood of desperation. Lots of dynamics bringing the song uip and down. Very well done - Bilbozo

Description : A collab with nicetones101. Dark , gritty and with questionable intent. crunchy riff driven guitars and atmospheric vocals weave together a solemn track.Hopefully we invoke some sort of emotion! \m/

Description : A collab with nicetones101 ! This has been awhile in the making, real life caught up with me and i had to take a little musical break. I looked over my past comments i received and i tried to put all the constructive criticism to work ! I turned the vocals up a bit , I also cut down on the effects and left a clean vocal track. I did want the chaos and the noise to still be a player in certain parts though. I tried to create two distinct atmospheres, an uneasy calm and a manic episode. I prefer headphones with this track as there is a lot going on at certain times.

Having experienced them, I know that with as beautiful and serene as they can be, so too, they can be cold, deadly and unforgiving. That's what this song is about. Description : Psychedelic chillout stoner/doom epic. Badass heavy riffage and drumming plus big chillout vibes. Heavy electric guitar plus slow attack lead parts. Other beauty and ambience from filter swept violins, two synth pads and some subtle female vocal samples. Also bass guitar and sub bass. Two programmed, heavy drum kits and one lighter one, to fatten up the sound.

Tags : | Heavy Metal | 9.94 MB

Description : One of my greatest heavy tracks. What I find unusual is the amount of melodic and deep ambient guitar that sits on top of low, distorted riffs and fat, heavy drums. Very little synth work here apart from the sub bass, which plays almost throughout. Bass guitar in two sections and a couple of slide resonator guitar solos. Drums are a few programmed metal/rock kits, no drum loops. What I still have trouble believing and understanding is that all of the many vocal sounds in this are actually timestretched guitar parts (8x or 800% slower). I don't know why the timestretching adds such a clear vocal component to the sound. Gets darker and more intense in the middle (and towards the end) but this is otherwise quite melodic - perhaps in a way that might put off some metallers. Shitloads of guitar playing, some fairly badass, and lots of heavy, crashing drums so press play if you want to rock hard but also in a deep ambient, psychedelic way. Interesting thoughts and reflections are, as always, greatly appreciated. Detailed comments preferred...

Description : I discovered Meshuggah around 2003 and was blown away by the power, complexity and super Heavy sound of their music. Their "Nothing" album marked the switch to 8 string guitars and pushed Heavy Metal into a whole new territory. My track is a variant cover of their song "Nebulous". I have stayed pretty close to the original but added a few dynamic elements of my own. Its loud, its super heavy and way out there...Beyond Nebulous.
