Description : A song of dedication...kind of a ballad thing and not really a fusion, at least not in classical sense...:)
Description : A test drive..:)
UPDATE - 20th Apr 2017...Not anymore..-:)
Description : A fat groove journey incorporating hip hop, jazz, rock and more. Chilled out and rocking, with some big riffs and basslines. The main instruments are saxophone, piano and cello plus some resonator guitar and banjo. Sax is the only instrument not played by me as the parts here were contributed a few years ago by a guy I know. Anything that sounds like distorted guitar is actually distorted cello. Loads of that, including solos, in the second half. No electric guitar or bass guitar. Not much synth work but there are two synth basses and an organ. Otherwise, it's quite an acoustic "played instruments" kind of sound. Lots of drums, including loops, multiple programmed acoustic kits and drum hits. I know Radiohead have an excellent song called Everything In Its Right Place but I still like my title and there's a story behind it (nothing to do with music). Interesting feedback appreciated. Do you have any favourite or least favourite sections? Details are appreciated...

Description : Electronic fusion of Dubstep/Trap/Hip hop hybrid. Big ups to Danke,Neezle, and Joe Funktastic for the use of some of their loops. The majority of this track is my creativity. Hope you like it and comments are welcome.
Had to listen to this one a second time right away! I really like the throbbing vibe of the mix, it brings the listener right inside the action! Nice vocals too, they're haunting! This is like electronic folk music or something! Too cool! Faved for sure!
Sick stuff, real good, naturally good piece of music, the fx are super! can feel the groove, the vibe is nice and strong it all fits together so well. Definitely fav, gotta hear more of it. The groove is catchy man, the fade out is genius btw. The whole feel of the track makes me feel more alive, good fwork.
Was out surfing and looking up info on the Hallmark Entertainment film we watched recently, "Dreamkeeper." Found out that Iktome (Spider the Trickster) was played by Gary Farmer, who of course was Philbert Bono in "Powwow Highway." Yes indeed, Philbert and his War Pony (remember my early critiques/comments?) - Gary also played the character Nobody in "Dead Man" with Johnny Depp.
He's also got his own Blues band called Gary Farmer and the Troublemakers (he's the founder) and plays harmonica. I'm trying to find contact info, because I want to send him this track of yours. I think he'd dig it tremendously.
BTW - Coyote (in Dreamkeeper) is played by John Trudell and is another character of interest we should probably get a copy of this to.
I do so dig Transit Pow Wow. See what it continues to do?
An absolutely brilliant piece from first note to last. The use of the vocals was great and the effects were spectacular.
Definitely faved
John
O.o that was amazing. the overall native feel mixed with the crazy bending synth line is so surreal! Movie material, nice job guys, faving this one.
Kevin
..once was most definitely not enough..on my second go now..mercy..i'm gone daddio..incredibly eclectic and marvelously effective..cait*
Play 2 now...
The vocals & percussives on this song are outstanding. And I think this is a really interesting blend of rock & tribal/new age. Dunno why, but this makes me think of that trip sequence in the movie Beavis & Butt-head and kinda like what would've happened if Beavis had tripped longer, ya know? Anyways, nicely done. Lates!
hehe my twisted mind thinks juxtaposing cold digital elements alongside.
You are really great with vocal manipulations... I just love that man.
It's odd for me.. because as an individual... I feel the context of what you are giving here... There's this spirituality about it. And I hear a lot of the talk with dub and it's spiritual roots. I get that.. that trance thru the transients on the delays and 'verbs giving the sound the largeness.
I really really respect you dubheads.. But I think when it comes to a social order in myself, there's something that screams an internal dissent. I can't explain it.
It must be something about how this track particularly has this incredible way of subduing the listener, as it has with the past few tracks I have heard.... And coming from my background, I like to reach out and just SHAKE the listener.... I really like the idea of tapping into that "spirituality".. almost shamanistic pose in the crossleg... Incense burning.
As a listener ... I had a fantastic feeling of association and disassociation with the music, and my reality.
That kinda experience hearing a piece of music goes beyond a favorite and a thank you.
Awesome stuff man.
Sorry for ranting lol
Nice track guys - excellent wide open stereo separation! This is one for Brujo's everywhere.
Cheers, jamie.
This is a work of art. Love it !
a lil down home electrified country funk. hellz yep! this is a tough song bredd, seriously. i realized about half way thru the second listen i had my eyebrows n lipps all squeezed up. and i was bobbing my head like a rooster! mean stuff!
ha!
be well my brother =}
OK, this was pretty awesome! The organic feel, the wonderful sounds and powerful drums and percussion blew me away. You always amaze me! I liked nomad's "urbin aborigine" comment, that's a perfect way to sum it up, haha!
If you still have my email, could you send me a copy or maybe after a revision at some point, thanks in advance!
Wayne
After hearing this one stream here, I'm actually thinking a whole series of those drum loops used in remixes by various artists might be really cool. I can't believe how much they've changed, and it's got everything to do with taking ownership, doesn't it? Sweet.
This is music for the urban aborigine. TechnoShamanism for the new millennium, or maybe even the sonic schematic for how it's done. It's totally jacked into an ethno-Native American vibe, but bootstrapped into something else, and done respectfully at that. No mean task, and pulled off seamlessly.
Powerful stuff.
