Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

The track is a bit minimal and I've tried to allow the multi layered vocals shine and not be over cluttered with much else. Percussion is Superior Drummer (using brushes instead of sticks), bass is a Sterling Sub 4 (a recent acquisition) played in live with an attempt at some funky slap stuff in the last chorus (tricky!) Guitar solo is my trusty Godin XTSA on the acoustic setting. Keyboard is a patch from Logic X.

So good to be working with this quality of vocal. Thanks Farisha.

Description : [Updated 24/11/14 - volume boosts, re-EQ'd kick and added a tremolo at the end, 'cos why not...] Knowing how popular RomyHarmony is, there is probably countless songs with the same title, but oh well. Creating in Logic Pro 9 using the ES2 Synthesizer, the Ultrabeat drum machine with a sampled kick from inklewinkle2's 'Liquid Drum and Bass Break' and kenzo409's snare, the ES E ensemble synth and of course, the 'New World' acapella by RomyHarmony, which was once again, a first class acapella.

Description : The title represents the track itself. I now feel I must master every aspect, every track must utilize my full potential. Every track I have to put my all into. This is only a rough mix, but I just couldn't resist to share it. I plan to layer this track quite thoroughly and edit at least every 4 bars. Major drum changes will also be applied. This is an evolving track, it will lead to a dark half with more focus on the drums and bass. (no pun intended) A member named StaticNomad has also partially inspired this track. I thank you for your review on my Wavy Mindframe track. Also heavy influence from Goldie, which I consider to be a master of dnb. A mixture of old and newschool dnb at 174 bpm. I redid this song and it is not available for free download on my Bandcamp and can viewed on my brand spankin new YouTube Channel
So I decided to try a little experiment with creating a song; I randomly generated a few sounds, and made song with them after adding some Signature Bass, modifying a sound to be a light Grinde, and some (kinda) custom Perc. One of the sounds reminded me of a cicada, the little bugs that at first are eerie, then annoying, then strangly peaceful once you get used to their chirps. BUT, this song was created with the idea of them swarming a future urban area. I shot for Ambient Glitchstep, but I got something like a combo of Glitch, Trap, and Dubstep, I'm gonna call it "Urban-Tek"
