Inspiration: My niece Miranda Hallowes for telling me to get this song together & naming Major X Treme...The famous Brian Plummer for saying it can't be done (you have to know his sense of humor to understand that one) Paul Hutzler for coffee support which I think i needed....this was a fun colab... 3 rockin guitar players pickin on this one I think.....one of hottest bass players on the planet...that is to say if someone was to asked me....heheh...Thxs to all my friends for all the support on this project...All of us hope you enjoy Major X Treme

Description : Rap It UpAs i started to piece together the drums & bass parts the song took a turn. I started writting this as a old school tune, big horn section, little along the lines of a James Brown piece. Then i found these two really nice rap samples that fitted perfectly. Thought i'd keep it straight ahead alot of bass & drums. (All samples used here)

Description : I've been runnning through the past. This track is from one of my old bands Love Buck-it. a power trio Bass/Drums/keys-voxwe were just starting to kick ass then we broke up :( but thats life.
This is a Live Track from the peak of or writting.. the recording is pretty ruff (and the only recording of this song that still exists)

Description : "8:15" A funk tune with a rap feel... but too much instruments to be rap. in the key of A maj. i used slapjohnson's blues slap flute loops (100 BPM) and some of rei's D maj. funky guitar loops, i gave it no bass because of layering and bass was out of the question because it was too overpowering on the flute loops... only used looperman loops on this one guys...

Description : Hello....well, here is a new 'medley' of a Electric 12 string guitar I put together. I call it a medley as it isn't a standard song. I put together some chords and rhytmn that sounded good to me, and thought that others might like to hear what a 12 string can do as well. I am not sure there is another 12 string track/loop on Looperman?The sound is clean and distorted guitar. I did a Bass solo and also added in a fast funky rhythm section at the end.
The drums are loops from 'betamonkeymusic', and I added in some parts of the drums myself from my Korg keyboard. I am playing bass as well.
I don't have an Acoustic 12 string so I couldn't represent that sound here.

Description : A soft melodic track, i guess chill out. Everything done by me except harp loop and beat (ride cymbal not included)used my DJX for the long tone synth, tapped on a ride cymbal on my kit and DJX for piano loop same for the bass too, 4 band equalized for that pizzicato upright bass sound.

Description : Its a melodic piano + string Beat!I use only a short sample and the strings with a low bass piano in the backround! I also fill in the piano sample with a filter what let it sounds more like wahwah!
I made this track also with a different arrangement! There take the bass-piano infront of the strings that let it sounds a little more darker than this Version! If you are interested to hear this please let me know!

Description : This track was a creation by accident, I just purchased a Digitech Live Vocalist effects processor and was experimenting with the Unison voice settings. I laid down a drum track, then started snagging at some bass loops, and tossing together a groove without much thought. Just started to make up some words and lay down some vocals to experiment with. Anyways, I put a little more time into making some adjustments to the Drums, Bass, Effects.. wrote up some more words for vocals I have yet to record. Right now, I'm just looking for some feedback on what I have laid down so far. Hope to finish this track off soon.UPDATE: I've since uploaded a full demo of this track, I'm keeping this partial demo up for a little bit, so people can compare and give feedback on the progess.
