About Me

I’m a drum & bass producer and sound designer with a focus on melodic, bass-driven music influenced by classic jungle techniques. I build my tracks and loops from the ground up — starting with drums, shaping tight subs, and designing my own patches and textures to create a unique sound.
I’ve been around music and technology my whole life, from early computers to modern production, and I’m passionate about creating original sounds that other producers can use in their own work. I take pride in clean, professional-quality samples with character, musicality, and strong low-end design.

Instruments I Play

I work with a combination of digital and hardware-based instruments. My main tools are piano, MIDI keyboards, and drum machines, which I use to create melodic ideas, basslines, and rhythmic foundations from scratch. I also use software instruments and synths inside Logic, along with high-quality plugins and my own custom patches to design original sounds for drum & bass and jungle production.

Software I Use

I produce and sound-design mainly in Logic Pro, using a combination of stock tools and high-end third-party plugins. My main processing and creative suite includes the FabFilter collection, Young Logic, tape saturation tools, Oxford Inflator, Ozone 11, Weiss MM-1 and Deess, Fuse Audio Labs Octet Clipper, and a range of drum machines and virtual instruments.
For drums, I use Addictive Drums 2, along with my own layered kits and custom-built loops. For synthesis, I work with Serum 2, Logic’s built-in synths, and my own sound-designed patches. This combination lets me create fully original, high-quality loops suitable for jungle, drum & bass, and melodic bass production.

Hardware I Use

I work on a Mac-based studio setup with a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface, which provides clean conversion and stable monitoring for production and sound-design work. My main controllers are the Pioneer Nexus 3000 and Traktor S3, which I also use for performance testing and MIDI workflow creation. I produce using MIDI keyboards and hardware drum machines for hands-on programming and shaping grooves.

Listening To Right Now

I regularly listen to a wide range of drum & bass and jungle — from classic pioneers to modern innovators. My main listening includes Ed Solo, Calibre, Total Science, LTJ Bukem, Break, and Roni Size, as well as newer melodic and atmospheric DnB artists. I study their groove, low-end balance, drum textures, and musicality to understand how their sound translates into powerful loops and modern production.
I also explore other genres such as garage, breakbeat, and electronic music for fresh ideas in rhythm, harmony, and sound design.

10 Favourite Albums

One of my favourite albums is LTJ Bukem – “Logical Progression”. It’s a landmark project in drum & bass and jungle — full of musicality, deep atmospheres, rolling breaks, and warm subs. The album captures the roots of the genre while still sounding timeless, and it’s been a huge influence on how I approach melody, groove, and space in my own production.

My Influences / Fav Artists

My sound is heavily influenced by classic and modern drum & bass pioneers. Artists like Ed Solo, Calibre, Total Science, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, and Break have shaped the musicality, bass design, and groove in my production. I also draw inspiration from early jungle techniques — warm subs, breakbeat energy, and melodic atmospheres — combining that with modern low-end design and clean processing.
These influences help me create loops that blend melody, weight, and movement while staying true to the roots of jungle and drum & bass.

My Music Sounds Like

My music blends melodic drum & bass with deep, jungle-inspired low end. It carries the warmth and weight of classic jungle subs with modern clarity and movement. Think the musicality of Calibre, the bass character of Ed Solo, and the groove and tightness of Total Science, combined with my own melodic ideas and evolving bass hooks.
The sound is clean, emotional, and atmospheric, but still heavy — built around strong drums, sub-driven baselines, and detailed sound design.

In My Other Life I ...

In my other life, I’d still be creating — probably building things, solving technical problems, or working with sound in a different form. I’ve always been hands-on and curious, so I’d still be exploring technology, music, or design in some way. Creativity and problem-solving are part of who I am, whether it’s producing music or working on something completely different.
