Acoustic Guitar Songs, Tunes, Tracks & Mixes
Description : Acoustic Guitar piece I did some time ago and wanted to share. Trying to get back into music
Description : “TheLeach”, bass player with the German group, How to Loot Brazil, recently posted several acapellas here on Looperman. These are the actual vocals from tracks that the band has released.
The acapella for “Box Room” caught my fancy. You can find the pella here: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/11036/how-to-loot-brazil-box-room-full-acapella-by-theleach-148bpm-pop-acapella
I did listen to the band’s original version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7r9zbgn8tU
), which I liked a lot. For some reason, though, I found it really difficult to figure out the chord progressions used in the band’s version. I think that is because it has a very complex electronic arrangement that, for much of the song, is more about providing interesting counterpoint to the vocal melody than laying down a traditional instrumental bed. Not sure if that description makes sense, but if you watch their Youtube video, I think you will understand what I mean.
I started trying to work out the chords using a piano patch, and that seemed to set the tone and style for my remix. I use Logic Pro and it was telling me that I was playing all kinds of crazy chords (11ths, and 13ths, and diminished). Had no idea what I was doing, frankly. Just searching for chord sequences that sounded right. Spent a bit of time chopping up the vocal and time-aligning it. Added a bit of processing. Dropped one whole section of the vocal because I just couldn’t find a way to make it fit with the style and feel of the remix. (It worked fine in the original and also in other remixes that have been done by Looperman members.)
So, this remix is very different from the band’s original version. And, I hope that TheLeach, who wrote the song, won’t be too upset with where I took it. He wrote it on an acoustic guitar, apparently, so it clearly evolved quite a bit to get to their recorded version. Anyway, doing something different is what remixes are all about. Right?
Description : Acoustic guitar mix with electric guitar fade in with synth, bass, snare and a official kick..
Description : Started with some acoustic guitar strum and picking, bass guitar and some EZ drummer loops. When I found the sax/guitar loops in a loop pack I'd recently downloaded, I knew they were perfect for setting the feel of the track. Added an electric guitar strumming track and a midi lead guitar with tremolo added. Update: remixed it a bit. Enjoy!
Description : Jim added a clean Fender Tele track and some thicker sounds with a custom ES-339 Pro(Epiphone) semi-hollow bodied. Both were mic’ed using my Fender DeVille. I added the bass, the acoustic guitar, the singing and a bit of keys. Jim helped out with the drums and the guitar arrangements. The song... the Drive By Truckers do a song, Guns of Umpqua that inspired this one being written, same subject matter. In America we’ve averaged a mass shooting every day this year. It needs to stop. Now. I hope none of us ever have to get caught up in any of that. Peace.
Description : Tribute track to the Gran Dador, the great giver here at Looperman, Joseph José Funktastic. I came across this killer acoustic guitar loop of Joes that really grabbed me:
So I worked up this track to participate in a thread initiated by Crucethus to show a little appreciation to one of our super talented and most gracious loopers. It also features 2 other loops of his: looperman-l-0630386-0055794-joefunktastic-mrf-house-explosion-ghost-pad-128a and looperman-l-0630386-0069255-joefunktastic-funktastic-rnb-pad-85c that I manipulated to fit with my music here which is more Latin rock that I put together to work with Joes loops. Its not as tight as I wish it could be but I wanted to get it up while Cru's thread is still fresh.

Hi ! Today is "go acoustic or go home" day.
Not much to add besides what you can hear on this track. Recorded using a fishman aura spectrum to get the sound from a below average acoustic guitar. The tunning is an Open D tunnig (google it, it's amazing for song writers!).
If anyone wants to collab , just hit me up ! Have an amazing week my brothers and sisters !

Description : I've been singing this song around campfires with my acoustic guitar for years and finally sat down and recorded it. This classic has been performed by Sam Cooke (he wrote it), Jimmy Buffet and Cat Stevens; my version is most like Buffet's but after playing it for so long, I've kind of made it my own. The backing vocals during the chorus were inspired by the likes of Shanana and written by yours truly. I'm very happy with how this turned out.
Description : While working on my Halloween track (Bone Shaker) for this year I developed an interest for bit crusher distortion and decided to try it out on some Latin rock rhythms I had been developing. I just wasn't getting the right sound or enough punch with my previous effects set up but once applying the bit crusher I really liked the result. While putting the song together I also remembered an older acoustic guitar track which was intended to be a love song that I had never finished. I dug it out and applied some portions of it for the intro and outro which seems to create a nice power and passion contrast in the Latin/Hispanic styling. While polishing things up over the last few days I was thinking for a name. Since Italians and Hispanics (my ethnicity) are very passionate and romantic in nature, I decided to call it "Latido de mi Corazón", which in Spanish means the "Beat of my Heart". So of course, the beat of my heart is always for the one(s) I Love. I hope you can feel the emotion when you listen. Enjoy, Neo.
Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always
my sincere thanks to Ed not only for letting me enjoy his great musical company but also for still standing as one of the firm pillars of Looperman society !
Description : Similar to what I've been posting lately, bass, drums, acoustic guitar and a string synth. Folk rock I suppose. Update: Remixed it, addressed drum issues, eq'ed the acoustic guitar, made some adjustments to the master channel. Enjoy!
Description : based on a heavely proccesed acoustic guitar,an experement in a field of sound
Description : A bright, uptempo George Harrison-sounding pop rock single built around a great acoustic guitar loop by Danke. I brought the rest to it, and I'm very proud of this song. It has touches of Fleetwood Mac as well and is mixed very Seventies and warm. I hope you like it.
Description : Used Talents' Acoustic Guitar HipHop, along with a bunch of Acid Pro7 loops.
Description : 8 bars looped to 43 seconds. Got that piano playing clearly, Hip Hop Kits playing the "tik" sound and the baseline, the acoustic guitar playing in the middle of the song, pop flute and a keyboard with some distortion effects.
