Description : This is what I like to play when I jam.A rock mixture that's just fun and a combination of some of my old influences. One of the reasons I love to collab is it pulls me out of this temporarily...not that I don't love it...it's just every original rock song would sound like this one...but I'm growing cause' of my new influences here and hope to keep mixing it up.The drum loop was provided by my good friend 9Rihter,the rest is all guitar and bass.
Thanks friends.

I decided on this rock song for my review as you know I love rock.
At first impression, it sounds really very nicely done. The bass part is a little boomy on my system, but not a real problem.
In mastering my songs at my friends studio, he's always rolling the bass off my songs. I also play Bass guitar and love heavy bass and drums myself.
Here the drums are right on, so your friend did a great job with them. Your guitar playing is very good and tastefully done. Doubt that I could ever match it, esp. as I get older! I like the different sounds you get out of it.
So all in all Allen, I like your song, and I should to listen to many more, as I see you also do Blues.
Take care and thanks for sharing Allen.
Randy
Thanks Randy,I do use cheap headphones to mix which can be a problem bass wise.
One interesting think about the drums is that his loop was faster but when I slowed it down, the character changed into a more rock loop which I needed. Also I used all my tutoring from my 26yr old son to add a extra bass drum and the simple snare hits you hear.
Thanks again Randy,I love your reviews cause your're not just a listener but a member of the guitar club!
Hellz Yeah!!! My first and only fav on this site so far! Just makes me feel alive... and that's from an old head bangers perspective... ya know! Like the stuff WE used to listen to... Scorpions, VH, Iron Maiden, Poison n the hair band (now receeding hair band)stuff. You remember em to Allen I can tell! I love the shift/bridge around 3:40. And the anvil was perfect!
Allen, That was some spectacular ripping. And man I gotta say Nashville's loss was our gain!! Your one hell of a guitar player and I thought the mix was excellent!
Thank you Chriss,it gets a little frustrating sometimes cause I seem to just get lucky with the production...it doesn't come easy and I keep hopeing I'll find that magic formula...or at least remember what I did when I stumble on to it!
Thanks again,
Thanks rei,you know I love some of your funk rock that I reviewed a while back and appreciate your music,I need to visit you more.
Thanks again for stoppin' by!
This my friend is f'n awesome!!!!haha this drum beat is perfect for that solo you did (which i was greatly impressed, i am a young Yngwie Malmsteen and i know a good guitarist). That solo was awesome!! This song morphed into something great and you should be proud of this piece, keep rockin' man, ill keep an eye out for future tracks!
Thank you GG!You know the song was morphin' as I played it before I hit record...I didn't have anything planned but the main beginning riff in E and just let the song dictate itself, sometimes I get lucky...sometimes:)
Hey Kikajon! Are you rested and tanned? Thanks for stopping by my friend and having a listen...I can't seem to escape the 80's but i'm coming to terms with that:)
Thank's and looking forward to the new music brewing!

Mate this is a great piece of guitar playing, yep you can tell with this one you were having fun doing this one, seems to jump out that it was fun, great beat, love everything about it, excellent work once again my friend...Fav'd...Estefano....
Thank you Estefano...it is nice to just play around and come up with something that works...sometimes I think I try too hard with my own songs and miss the point...fun.
Thanks again.

Hey Allen.
This sounds like a great jamsession. Really easy, but funky riffs with a dirty sound. Cool, laidback drumloop from 9Rihter aswell.
More of this :)
Thank you so much Steinaa! You know how as a guitarist the things you have the most fun playing without giving much thought can sometimes translate to listeners,I do think people can tell when your having a good time, even if they can't see you.
Thanks for the review,I am a big fan of your music so it means a lot!
I have pleasure to hear this track before you upload on looper, its really honor when such artist as you, put my drumloop on this great track, great guitar playing as always!
Thanks my friend,I cranked your loop up and let her rip!I had the volume up when recording with my headphones and that beat sounded like a hammer after playing for a couple of hours so I had my title!
Thanks for helping me out.
This smokes, kinda King Swamp feel to this, very cool track Allen. Is that your tele you are playing? If it is it sounds great! I love the leads around 3 min, sick playing!! haha Great beat as well. Gonna dl and fav this, too cool!!
Hey Wayne! Thanks and yes it is the Tele,it's the only electric I have at the moment,so I've had to learn to be versatile...but a lot of times it's just the way you approach the song for myself and not so much the instrument.20yrs ago I thought teles were just for country, matter of fact I spent half a year in Nashville and the leader of the band I joined said"Son,if your gonna make it in this town you gotta get rid of that Kramer with the whammy bar and get yourself a Telecaster"so I did and no I didn't make it...but I did fall in love with the guitar..lol
Thanks again Wayne.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : This song was not supposed to be the fourth track of "Diverse waves", but it finally is. Anyway it's a rock oriented track with some interesting sounds. I hope you like it. Worked in zenbeats DAW, by Roland.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
Description : when i was a kid you could go down and buy acid drops at the dairy - sour boiled sweets....vox, guitars and keys by me. Bass a LM loop by megapaul.
I just love this. What really gets me is the tempo. A great tempo for the catwalk. (smile)
Keep doin' yo thang Bro!!!
I would love to see some catwalk action to this song,of course I'd like to see any catwalk action ; )
Thank you again!

It was very much like that except I was by myself:)
