If you have time take a listen and give 2Sisters some feedback.
Thanks for outlining the conditions clearly. I didnt go through every comment, but I always intended to credit the lyrics. No question there. The entire composition and production is being rebuilt from scratch, and Lyrics by Manuela Boekels will be properly included.
I get that re-recording isnt an option right now; Im not always in one place myself, might be in the States or elsewhere. Still, once the track is done, who knows? You might feel like revisiting it.
Ill leave a link here when its out so you can have a listen. For anything further, feel free to reach out!
I was wondering, what if I just use the lyrics and remake the whole composition and production, would you re-record it with your own vocals after listening to the end result? Do I even have the rights to use the lyrics to begin with:)? Already re-imagined the entire song.
Let me know
Hello, we have made this song almost entirely available to the community here. The few conditions we have regarding licensing are already outlined below in my response to a request from "Ceanre."
I most likely wont be re-recording the song. I simply dont have the time, and studio sessions are also quite scarce.
Best regards, Manuela
Hello Leo, unfortunately, I cant leave a comment about the song on SoundCloud since were not active there. But I listened to the song several timesamazing! A fantastic dance-floor track! The rhythm goes straight to your legs, and I even danced to it in the office! Well done. Best regards, Manuela.
Nice and energizing for me. Movie soundtrack idea is sneaking up to it.. I would suggest a breath and hiss control slightly. In general smashing track indeedy. Loved it. Good Job 2 Sisters. Thumps up.
Well this is my participation to the experiment dear ladies. I really hope you will like it. Thanks again for the excellent material you offered to us. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/254081
Oh yeah - nice vocal - does indeed have a 'bond theme' kinda sound to it
have to check out the key and tempo and see if I can twist something with this ... I never can tell! Great lyric too
Do you guys have any other places that you post raw vocals? Looperman hyper-compresses its files so If I could find the raw Wav. file I'd love to work with some of it!
Yes, unfortunately, that's the case! We publish on various platforms, such as Bandcamp, Amazon, Spotify, and the usual suspects. We also offer samples on Loopcloud and Magix. However, these are all paid options. If you send me an email (youll find the address in our profile), I can send you a link to our server where I can upload the song for you as a WAV file, along with the vocal track. Please note that, since the recordings weren't made under clinical studio conditions, the raw files might have minor background noise. Best regards, Manuela

This is our latest single in Germany
great work on vocal and music track. only thing i would say on production would be is to lower volume on the vocal track and i feel it would blend a little more. also helps to use multiple tracks for vocals and pan vocals to the left or right a touch. stacking also helps to blend the vocals with multiple different recoded vocal tracks.
Hello Adamms, thank you for your message. I'm glad that you generally like the song. Thank you as well for your critique and support. But have you read the description above about the song? Best regards, Manuela.
Okay, now, after having a much more intimate experience with these vocals, and listening to them repeatedly and intently, I had to come back and leave a few thoughts.
One thing that really caught my attention was the way you faded your vocals at the end of most lines, leaving just a hint of a pause before the consonants, with the exception of "Hate" and "Late" Those had a full, hard stop. Everything was done so delicately, implying a true sense of disappointed, regretful realization.
The register change in the call lines, "I thought I knew..." give such a feeling of anguished disbelief, and in the lower response phrases bring the harsh reality of what is.
Your vibrato placements highlight the passionate yearning for understanding of how it ended up where it did.
And then, the ad-libs. Quite simply, a wailing cry. Tears of the soul. The overwhelming need for release from a place where words can't go. A sort of self-soothing.
Which leads me to wonder, is there a limit to how many versions we're allowed to make? You know, just in case inspiration hits again. ;)
Beautiful work, as always. Thank you again for the opportunity.
Take care.
Aaron
Hello Aaron, so nice to see you back here smile and once again finding such wonderful words! Angelica, the studio crew, and I spent about 3 weeks working on this song from start to finish, as it is now presented here. Originally, it was meant to be a track for our album "Black & White." However, we chose other songs for the album instead. We thought it would be a shame to leave this song in a drawer, perhaps to use it laterthough, to be honest, that drawer is already filled with many songs smile. Angelica then came up with the idea of making the song available to the LM Community.
We were hesitant to release it as a pure acapella piece in the acapella section because of some negative experiences we've had there. That section attracts too many people who are solely interested in finding good vocals to use in their own songs and later upload them to monetized platforms, often disregarding licensing rights. These individuals often havent contributed a single track to LM, which doesn't align with our understanding of community! Therefore, we decided to publish the song in the featured section and, to keep things fun smile, disguise it as an experiment. Everyone can use the song as often as they likeit belongs to the community. We'll keep it available here until Tuesday, and then we'll remove it and lock the download option.
It's wonderful to know you like the song. What really impresses me is the truly fantastic variety of songs that have come out of this community project. I'm excited to see whats next. Take care and stay healthy. Best wishes, Manuela (greetings to Mrs. V).
This is very strong song and im feeling the vibe GREAT JOB sisters and keep the great work! Much success and im probably going too build on it..LOL if you dont mind I'll send a final Mixdown..LOL promise!!
Hello, and thank you for your message and your kind words. Were doing our best and, fortunately, we have a well-equipped studio by our side. Best regards, Manuela
Hello Richard, yes, I do hear James Bond quite often, although I absolutely didnt have it in mind when creating the song. smile Thank you for your kind words. Best regards, Manuela
A lovely, soaring vocal - reminds me of an Eagle in flight - very ethereal - lovely and the music adds an almost oriental touch - this is a masterpiece kay
Wow ladies this is beautiful.
I am also curious what others will make of it.
But I think it doesn't matter what kind of music or beat it comes on...these voices make it beautiful anyway
I listened to it 3 times ! The vocals are magnificent !! I wish I could use these vocals but , I have not attempted to make music in this way ( over vocals ) and I am afraid ( rather sure) that I would not be able to produce a satisfactory result . Best regards !!
Hello, Thank you for your message and your kind words. But as the saying goes, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained!" If youd like the sheet music, just let me know. Warm regards, Manuela
Allo, Manuela et Angelica. I love Minor keys and exploring them. 132BPM is a nice pace for something Danceable. I will Download it and get around to it with my new sense of Vigor. Unfortunately, We lost my 88 yr old Father this morning as he passed peacefully in his sleep. This and my mother's passing last January have been a large reason why I have had difficulty composing recently. It weighs heavily on my heart. But he passed peacefully as I suspect all of us would want to go (In our sleep). I may take some time with this but I am hearing something interesting in my head, and not as disjointed as my last attempt at your Vocals. I kind of feel a kindredness to this tune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2k5TwoHtKU
Hello my friend, I know how painful and overwhelming it can be to lose a loved one. It would be too simple to say that time heals the wound caused by their passing. I believe it is so important to hold the person youve lost close in your heart and create a picture in your mind that truly reflects who they were. When you think of them, let it be with warmth, comfort, and the love they radiated. Keep this picture alive! Sending you warm regards and my heartfelt sympathy, Manuela
P.S.: The song from the link is beautiful. Wonderful lyrics!
I'm amazed to see this quality of music to be shared with the rest of us. I just make music as a hobby and would love to play around with this if anything to learn from it. Thank you so much
gege
Hello, From time to time, we make one of our songs available for free to the communitysimply as a token of gratitude! You can also find other tracks in the acapella section and our song directory. I believe you dont have to be a professional to enjoy music production.
If you have any questions, apart from us, there are also plenty of friendly colleagues here who would be happy to help you with almost any issue. Just ask and make use of the message function.
Warm regards, and wishing you lots of fun and success, Manuela
Manu!
It is brilliant!
Like a latest James Bond soundtrack!!! :-)
I don't have freetime right now (studio with the metal band, Marcell get bad time in his actual lifetime) but maybe later I will come back to this pearl ...
thanx for the upload, instant favoourite ...
hug,
Danke
Hello my friend, yes, I know, but we were too late since the soundtrack for the new James Bond film was already completed *smile. Its great that youre back in the studio. Were currently preparing for our tour, and thats very stressful as well.
Please give Marcell a hug from me and take good care of him!
Powerful and actually complete. You with your voice and your sister with her amazing understanding of music have created a super song, of those missing nowadays. I understand it is not a contest, it is a feast. I do wonder if I could add my touch to this sculpture without ruining it, it is more than delicate for sure. Time will tell.
My best wishes, Anthony
Hi Anthony, Im very sure you wouldnt ruin it! I think youre a wonderful and sensitive musician who would definitely find the right notes. Thank you for your praise.
Best regards, Manuela
Well, youll need to do a bit of the work yourself. smile But Ill be nice this time. smile The BPM is around 132, as its played live, so its a bit variable. The key is Am, and Camelot is 8A. However, there are plenty of tools available to check this yourself.
And we are very excited to see the result *smile. You can find the minimal licensing conditions in my response to 'ceanre' further down. Thank you for your praise. Best regards, Manuela
Oh... we're issuing out challenges now are we? Lol! I've described this as a "hauntingly beautiful" piece. You've given a lot of freedom as to what you can do in the challenge, I was going to ask if that also included just coming up with my own version and music from scratch and basing it off the title and theme of your song?
Also needed to know how long the challenge would be for? Very nice track you and Angelica have, all the best D.
Hello Dennel, well, I wouldnt call it a 'challenge' but rather our Easter egg for the community *smile. Youre very welcome to do so. We are also really excited to see the result. You can find the minimal licensing conditions in my response to 'ceanre' further down. We will keep the song available for download here in the Featured section for about a week. Best regards, Manuela.
Hello 2Sisters, this is beautiful, its a very very good track and a favorite for me....the vocals are exceptional and the soundtrack just as nice and well produced.
Yes, you can. There are only a few small licensing conditions for this song, which we created as a gift for the community:
If the vocals and music are used, or just the vocals or just the music, the title must include the addition 'ft. TrueSister.'
If the song is re-recorded and our lyrics are used, the addition 'Lyrics by Manuela Boekels' must appear.
If everything is newly created and neither our lyrics, vocals, nor music are used, but our song serves as an inspiration, the addition 'based on a poem by Manuela Boekels' must be included.
I trust youll all be honest and adhere to these conditions. After all, Angelica and I have put a great deal of effort and heart into making this song almost freely available to you.
Description : working on a more rock heavy metal crossover. I try to get it working. I got lots of insparation from here on LM, looking for any advice that would help me to get closer. I left the beat in the end open, so you can try it out. guit, synth or vox, etc....
Chords:
I B I D I E I F# I
Description : This is my participation to the experiment of 2Sisters...hope it goes all right..! It has been a great joy to work with such a beautiful musical composition and with this great performance by Manuela. Thank you dear ladies for your kind offer of this material. Hope you will like it.
Description : One of those tracks you put your headphones on and your off too fantasy land for bit.Its all over the music spectrum on this track.*no foul language but does have lyrics that contain adult language
Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.
Another try from my horror jazz collective.
Instruments Used:
-"LIRA" upright piano (MADE IN USSR 1973)
-"BLAST CULT" upright bass (MADE IN USA 2016)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
Description : Many of strangeness here ....
A link between two musical worlds quite different but united in this message of harmony.
"Silverpaw" (former Looperman) had in the depths of one of its hard drives, this arrangement that I made the past year: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/120846
He decided to bring this theme, with a text and this voice ....
Very surreal but I really enjoyed ....
Description : I am quite open to all kind of music out there. This time I had some Church organ pipes lying around. With the help of 2nick8 and IMHO one of his best songs out there I put him into a big room and let the organs speak. Yes, maybe weird, maybe different, maybe 2nick8 will throw some egg against me ... I did it. What do you all think of it? (I changed the Genre to "Weird" in the meantime but "Experimental" would do also.
Description : I started out making this track a Vocal track, then it turned into a Chillout track but, now I'd say DubJazz, PsychoFunk or Weird. You be the Judge.
Description : Hey guys! Well, this is the first time I upload a song with my voice. I have to confess that this is not a style I usually sing. And, as an extra point, this is my first song in english. My native language is spanish, my english is not perfect, so sorry for mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, etc). Well, about lyrics, I explain the story on description of the instrumental version. If you want to read the story or hear the instrumental track, go here [ https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/146653 ]. This song was made on Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium and Adobe Audition 3.0. I hope you like it. Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...
Description : This track is only magmatic chaos hanging on a simple rhythmic skeleton. I had fun shaping and mixing the most disgusting electronic slurry.
Description : I haven't done anything in awhile. I got tired of screwing with this so just did some gain staging & panning & slapped it on here. It definitely sounds like something I would do.
Description : I wanted to do something different, TheFrenz sent me the stems to his excellent track 'Transformer' - And only one of the several versions of the track, using many of the same elements each time.
So I threw my hat in the ring with a version of my own, taking the elements of Transformer and doing some transforming. It only makes the song title that much more awesome. Music can certainly be transformed, taken to its next form...and the music can also be what transforms US. Pretty deep, man.
Description : So i did a bit of sound design on an interview i watched (its not a film or anything with reserved rights so Looper Admin finna chill out, lol)
its of a lady who committed a crime of passion, tortured her BF for 3 days before killing him because he had "snitched" and put many people in Jail.she shows no remorse at all and is presentably a very highly intelligent individual..this is a project i did.
basically some cinematic ambiance to accompany the tone of the convo and at the end i just put some simple loops of strings, arps and a nice killer guitar...didnt work hard on the drums tho..i dont know what genre this is so i will put it under "weird" then sit in a corner and cry coz no one listens to weird stuff lol
