Description : It's a down tempo, dreamy, sci fi soundscape with plenty of atmospherics, reverberated piano's and indian chanting.
In laymens terms it sounds absolutely nothing like the tune from the 'we buy any car' advert. i hope that narrows it down a bit.

Ok, sod sleeping and sod not reviewing, so here I am returning the favour with the review, and I gotta say this is an absolute pleasure to listen to. Love the ambient drone. Nice sounding piano, albeit a bit Japanese in places to some degree. Don't know if that was the intention, but it's what I felt from it. Very nice melody work on it regardless. Nice sounding bass amongst some brilliant sounding pads that follows up. Nice vocal sample, with some cool sounding effects on it :D
Love the percussion. Minimal, but has enough emphasis to last. Indian chant sounds really cool, love the delay on that.
The hats and snare that follow are fantastic. No idea how to get them to sound so punchy without them overpowering the whole track, like you've executed perfectly here.
Very, very good track. Absolutely love it, definatly agree with the sci-fi ish feel, but I see nothing wrong with that.
I'd favourite if I could, but a download will most certainly suffice :P
Thanks mate. You're right, It does sound very japanese and believe it or not that never occured to me until you mentioned it. I grew up in the far east so there's probably a lot of influence from that neck of the woods/jungle imbedded in the back of my mind.
Cheers for the great review and cheers again for listening.
Wow, wicked cool track! It does sound scifi. I Really like how it builds up and that chanting is very effective. Nice piano too. Some parts remind me a bit of Hybrid (esp. with the drums).
Thanks man, I'm on a bit of a mellow tip at the moment. I think it just kind of happens when you get old.
Glad you could stop by and find a minute to leave comments.
It makes a world of difference.

Pretty freakin' cool. Plenty to get into, the chants were nicely effected, if that is the proper way to describe it, lol. This would be cool for a movie soundtrack like in Bladerunner or some sci-fi flick. Everything sounds nice, impressive, gonna dl this so thanks a lot!
Hello Mate, I've been meaning to pop over your way, so i'm glad you could drop in and check out my attempt at something slower.
Yeah that Indian "Chanting". It's a free loop hidden away in the miscellanious files, in FL studio (they named it indian chant, i just went along with it). I've tried to use it a few times but this time it just seemed to fit perfectly, without actually having to do a lot except start it at the right time so, result really!
Anyway cheers for listening.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : EDIT: I adjusted the ending as per Paperkup's suggestion. I like it better. Maybe you will too.
The realization, and inevitable acceptance that the last ember of life is smouldering into obscurity. Then finally, and peacefully, exhaling the final breath of life.
This is a dark ambient track that will go between two of my other tracks. A good pair of headphones/earbuds are highly suggested for this one.
Opinions and criticisms are welcome. Enjoy, and take care. V.
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. Feedback is always welcome. Thanks.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
