Tried out this track with a few acapellas - I think this one from Lopperman - steelyvibe - 1002476-0013935-annihilation, is pretty good for the track. Let me know if you want to add a different vox.

Description : uses a vox from looperman-a-4409727-0017995-you-know-acapella which was added as an afterthought - as was the lead guitar too (which I did turn down in the mix as it was a bit much)

Description : Vox from Looperman (treated) and Im playing some sloppy guitar, again several lines of a new modular vst synths that I cant really figure out (yet) and samples for the drums, double bass and bells (some manipulated).
It's grown on me (but so does cancer!)

Description : Chill out / Ambient
2 chords finger picked on the guitar then multitracked over with arpeggios and small runs in key and lots of delay and reverb. Then added Vocal effects from exhale.
That's it - cut it down in length as repetitive

Cut up the acapella by Mikamik antimatter here on Looperman and dropped it in in a somewhat sparse and ambient chill out track

Description : Very gentle Ambient Electronica - not much too this one. Another small experiment with modular synths following in the vein of the 'antimatter' track
Description : Tried to work off the advice I was given but I think the results are a bit random - perhaps too much bass now : ) It does sound a little less sparse and now I will send off to others for a remix if they have the energy!

Description : vst instruments, and a couple of samples manipulated, my bongo drums, triangle and bamboo percussion instrument (all manipulated), several guitar tracks and another nice Vox by Mikamik (also manipulated). 3rd mix down now - might need some more tweaking : )

Description : Not exciting! Music for sleeping or to accompany laying awake listening to the rain. No percussion. At this point just textures from guitars run through modular synths and odd vst instruments giving some other sounds both more conventional and more lo-fi.

Description : Another experiment with my new vst drum machine. Also uses the vst instruments, 1.The lofi northern boarder electric piano, 2.Tibetan Singing Bowl (from decent sampler) 3. A bass preset from Vital (synth) with a sax, percussion and 3 vox samples. Also multitracked my slightly random electric guitar playing.
Not exactly exciting but floats along in a kinda chill way and at least I got the drum machine sounding better now : )

Description : I guess it's some kind of alt hip hop - a little experiment that should only be 1.23 long but I doubled it! Was not really sure if the vox fits or if this needs something else, or more, etc. but I'm hoping you will let me know and I can ditch it, or tweak it or whatever ; )
Description : slow build of beats and I think kind of hypnotic IF you listen to the build! The lyric/ vox seems to be about sexualised violence which (if it is) is NOT cool but I like the sound of it despite the content
Wasnt happy with the mix and now remixed so hopefully sounding better now - mix might still need some tweaking, feedback appreciated.
Description : Drums and percs and piano trills drawn from several Akai MPC packs (within the neo sunset expansion) with my bass, guitar and reverse guitar lines and keys, added effects and some manipulated samples.
Not sure about the right genre but it's kinda laid back. I think it is still in need of some more structure to add interest etc. but that still seems a little beyond my skill set atm.
