Thanks CAP - I think the other one "you dont love me like you say you do" , that I made about the same time, is a better track but I try to mix it up : )

Kayos2 19th Aug 2024 09:28 - 2 years ago

Love the opening vocal and guitars. There were some Amy Winehouse strains here I really liked. KayOS from VintageNights

CINCOCENT 19th Aug 2024 05:20 - 2 years ago

Wonderful work my friend the vocals fit perfectly with this. This is what your good at. Instrumentation is brilliant!

pseudoble replied 19th Aug 2024 - 2 years ago

Hey CC - how you doing? I have warped some of those vocals considerably to get them to fit - this was a relatively quick and simple track but I was pleased it came together as much as it did.

crucethus 19th Aug 2024 03:10 - 2 years ago

1:38 that distorted, either synth or guitar sound stands out for me on this one. I think you could take this full reggae if you wanted to. nice work.

pseudoble replied 19th Aug 2024 - 2 years ago

Hey Steven, thanks mate - that's my improv guitar lead (that a friend thought was harmonica) that you are referring too - I was happy with that - thanks for the warm comment

high marks for squiggliness. what a treat. louche lounge smoking allowed near the rhodes and it’s coming outta the flute too. it’s a colorful joint too and btw gravity does not apply in this establishment. i’m the guy clinking the empty bottles at the end — show me the way to go home!

pseudoble replied 22nd Dec 2023 - 2 years ago

Thanks again - louche lounge ... that's good : )

theHumps 16th Dec 2023 10:48 - 2 years ago

Now a days, it says your friends would be admired for even knowing what a harmonica is, he.

I like this, the guitar is squelchy, to me guitars need some effects when you are to create this type of atmosphere. They could even be louder I think. Lots going on, the flute is sweet, the electronic bits are neat, especially in my headphones.
