This is a beautiful marriage of musical magic with a great rap /vocal - the music is so ecclectic but you make it slot into each instrumental piece like a jigsaw that's a perfect fit yet opens up a music story for us. Love it. Kay0s
Thanks Kay - this one I think is even more experimental than usual but I was happy with the weird sound - not going to hear to many track like this one (and some might think for good reason hey : ) )
Hello pseudoble
I have listened to a very well made track. You cannot tell the difference from a pro stuff. I would really like to work with the real MPC, I only have a small experience with the iMPC and the Akai kits.
Best wishes, Anthony
Hey Anthony - thanks for the warm comment - the akai kits are amazing starting points and can generate things very quickly but I try to avoid any one formula so keep experimenting and manipulating - sometimes less sucessfully than others
wow my fav Aussie mate, this is fly, im gutted im not on it :))
seriously Ian its great to here fresh from you, i agree with the comments too, like Manuela, it is avante-garde in the best way possible, it has the core staples of hip-hop/rap, just mixed with a fresh approach and redhot fx's.
how far have we come on since joining here mate, to hear my first commentor and longest buddy is always a joy for me, always creative with your own style and approach, top job Ian
Thank you Paul - I still make a lot of stuff because its a nice change of headspace but most I it I never do anything with or throw away, all part of the learning hey - I think mines stalled a bit but your pumping and good on you : )
Hiya, I have to say that your approach to music is truly creative and innovative, which sets your tracks apart and keeps the listener engaged. I agree with zoot that your work is anything but generic, and I always look forward to hearing what you come up with next. Well done and Congratulations! on always seemingly thinking outside the box, showing us all how to take creativity to another level and taking us all on a musical journey that blows every thing else out the water creatively, Great work. KUDOS!
Thanks for the very consistent and warm affirmations around my little sound experiments - I do what I can with what i know and have but its always a pleasure to listen your lovely voice and class selections - which I will do again shortly

Description : Something i did when i was about 15, and when i still made beats. This particular track is actually the reason i decided to get into composing at all. I had a good run with the beats and hip-hop scene, but i always had a leaning more towards composing and this, i think, is the catalyst for that revelation. This beat is 9 years old, and gives you a sense of what it was like to be a young, passionate, musically driven teen. Thank you.

Description : Let me know what you guys think of this beat! I did not make the melodies for this song, LilTiddy created the two loops. I created the drums such as the 808, Kicks, Hi-Hates, Snares and claps. I also Mixed and Mastered the Instrumental.
