on Holy snowfall - Soleil Lune ft XyIlent by SoraSolitudine
It's like watching the snow drifting slowly to the ground on Christmas eve.
The Snow - Emily Dickinson
It sifts from Leaden Sieves -
It powders all the Wood.
It fills with Alabaster Wool
The Wrinkles of the Road -
It makes an even Face
Of Mountain, and of Plain -
Unbroken Forehead from the East
Unto the East again -
It reaches to the Fence -
It wraps it Rail by Rail
Till it is lost in Fleeces -
It deals Celestial Vail
To Stump, and Stack - and Stem -
A Summer’s empty Room -
Acres of Joints, where Harvests were,
Recordless, but for them -
It Ruffles Wrists of Posts
As Ankles of a Queen -
Then stills it’s Artisans - like Ghosts -
Denying they have been -
I tried once to learn music online, but most of information is in English, mine is too basic to understand when someone talks on video. And, I can't understand music in my own language, worst in english, where musical notation is different (I mean, different names). In spanish musical notes are DO - RE - MI - FA - SOL - LA - SI... in english are C - D -E - F - G - A - B. When someone says "the tune is in E" (for example) I have to think and re-think trying to recall the corresponding note. So, it's a little bit harder.
Anyway, thanks for listening and comment!
Peace!

(Ps: It's a nice poem, but I like more Gustavo Adolfo Becquer's poetry ;) )

I can not remember exactly.
Those were hard times back then.
Many crazy people went there, where I lived, in and out.
There really were gloomy figures below.
Some of them were so dark that you could see them almost not at night.
Others were so confused that they claimed they were quite vampires and would equal going to suck blood.
Still others were running around to convince the world that they had seen the light.
And others knew exactly that it was all just made of plastic.
The remainder was assumed that the others were all mad because they took the wrong drugs.
The owner took care neither in the one nor in the other group, but was completely off track. He told anyone who would listen whether or not that everyone and everything was against him and why he was about innocent. Without interruption, 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
I lived there and had some sort of front-row seat to the madness of the Western world of the 90's.
I would not even be surprised if the thinking zombie was infected in this wild place.

actually I get some of my ideas by doing this
sometimes you can get a real melody, rhythm, solo and etc from improvisational playing
Thanks for your comment and for your time pal

As for the album. No deadline just yet. As you can see, I'm terrible at making commitments! :P

Then I'd take the 100BPM fretwank widdling and stick it through the extreme timestretch software to create haunting ambiences. A little like what I've done in this track.
on Chasm by StaticNomad
Is melodic metal your favourite type? I'd expect you to prefer something creepier and darker.
I do wonder if the large amount of melody might put off some metallers. No doubt death, black and grindcore types but let's not worry about them.
"I like that idea of time stretching guitar parts for vocals"
No, that wasn't my idea - that was just the lovely surprise with how things turned out. I simply took a few guitar parts from within the track, timestretched them 800% and reimported them and spent ages arranging and trimming them.
" I love how dark it gets"
Yeah, that's the dark middle eg 4:18 with some crashing cymbal work. Then out of the relative darkness and back into the light for a triumphant ending.
"have you heard the spongebob theme song slowed down 800x"
No cos I'm not interested in that but I've heard loads of well known tracks slowed down 800% on Youtube. I think that's probably how I came across the Paul stretching software.
My favourite stretchy track is the Indiana Jones theme - Raiders March.
"may have more thoughts"
As always - come back if you have any. I'd rather hear about this track than Spongebob.
Take care.

Cool that you understand exactly what i had in mind while making this one. I believed that the stems needed something like this. I am born in 1965 and all the "great" boys listend to this kind of music. I realy like the music from the 60's a lot, 'cause it is almost the first "cool" music i could listen to. But when the NDW (new german wave) starts i couldnd stop listen to and the 80' will be my favorit times :) for ever i think .......
stay tuned

Folk metal us freakin' awesome...if it's done well. Admittedly, I haven't delved too deeply into the genre, but that which I've heard is pretty damned cool. I will definitely check out Dalariada. I'm always up for finding new music! Thanks for the suggestion!
I do use VST guitar. I had bought a Warlock with the intent to learn, and use, but the Ex had other plans. However, I'm coming up on a possible replacement for it, now that the smoke is starting to clear.
Thanks for the kindness, my friend. As always, it's appreciated.
Take care.
Aaron.

Thanks for your thoughts and appreciate your description.
And that's the beauty of music, art, and creativity in general. The self-expression, joy, and relief it creates for the artist and the countless interpretations and feel made by everyone else.
Thanks again!
