Description : This is the current project I am tinkering with. Its deep and gritty electric guitar stack (played on an acoustic). Very simplistic and I like the rhythm but I seem to be stuck with what else I want to do with it. Figured even though I am not done with it, someone else might like it or have ideas..

add 'at yahoo dot com' to my name. Mp3 or wav is fine. I'll see what I can do with it and send you the wav files. Key refers to the scale used for composing, simply put. Not big deal, I'll figure it out :p I can only read enough music to where it no longer looks like chinese writing to me hahaha Maybe BS will send you something too and you can layer it all making it a looperman jam session like this one https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/143435 :D

Lots of ways you could go with it but I would work on some lyrics and get a vocal track worked up and then see where you need to go. That main groove reminds me of Becks "Loser". Yeah, definitely has potential.

Wow SubChief, very cool. The part about stacking electric guitars with an acoustic is most impressive. Listen, I like where this is going. There is always space for more additions. That said, take your time, take a break and come back to it with fresh ideas. Very solid effort, keep rockin.

Lead guitar and bass would finish this nicely :p What key, bpm? I play both ;)

I am not smart enough to tell you what key it is in. I can't read music or anything. Hell I don't even know what chords I am playing, I just know they are a chord. HAHA. But its tuned down 6- C# and the rest a half step. Played at 85 BPM on a 4/4. I email BradoSanz the files he was gonna goof around with it, id be happy to do the same for you if you'd like to add your flair. I am always down to play with someone and hear their stuff even if its through online haha.

This really just needs leads, like mentioned. A guitar lead, then a different instrument, then back to guitar. I like what you have here, it just sounds like a backing track after 30 seconds.

You've gotten some awesome feedback from the people before me. I'm excited to hear this once you've made some additions.

I agree with another comment on here, you could try an add a higher pitched instrument, whether it guitar lead or synth, just to give it an added dynamic. It has a very hard rock, traditional metal feel to it. All in all, its a great track, you just need another instrument to progress the sound during the verses, otherwise they'd just sound samey and repeptive

Hi Subchief. I'm liking the sounds, it's got a nice chunky groove to it. I get the feeling that you've taken a lot of time and care to get the sound you wanted from the guitar and it's paid off. Now you need to work on expanding the arrangement. Maybe some higher guitar leads, like a cleaner guitar with lots of delay, would give the track a kind of Tool feel. If you wanted to be experimental you could also try playing a synth through a VST amp. That would make the track even grittier.

Best of luck in developing the track, I look forward to seeing where you take it.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
