Description : Here is a new song I recorded in my new studio. I played the electric guitars, acoustic guitar, bass, resonator, and sang the vocals, the drums are from Ez drummer. A few EQ issues in the bass department, I plan eventually fixing those as time passes. If you like the song feel free to download it.

Nice - has a Ry Cooder vibe with the slide guitar. Very good pacing - like the way it flows without forcing the tempo. well done.

Wow! I just came across this! I really dig the loosiness of the track. Feels raw, real. That bass provides a lot of punch and drives the heaviness into the song. Great work, always lovin' your stuff :) Btw, your mixing is improving!

In my opinion this is the best stuff. Raw, live human performances, imperfections only add to the beauty of it. My brother has been doing alot like this,(bluesdaddy80) just jamming on his acoustic and singing away. Very cool :D

I`m diggin this one big time Kyle...it has a nice loose live feel...and I think that comes from just playing & singing the way you do....actually the production is pretty well done...(I`m listening on my studio headphones ..ATM-M50s)...nice job on the lyrics...I like the deep bass (I go for it often) so don`t tame it too much..You have a style I always enjoy.....well done...hope all is well down your way....Ed

Hi, its great to hear some slide guitar on here.
I only listened to your song with my laptop speakers so no critique from me.
I feel like playing some slide myself now.

Thanks for taking the time to listen, I appreciate it. I didn't put the pro touch on the vocals to manually pitch correct them, but maybe some day :) I have a heck of a time trying to sing with headphones on.

    hello again

I had a chance to listen on better system and I really liked the overall message and your vision.

However, my observation and complain is that there is no realistic separation between instruments (regarding to the arrangement and the actual placing the layers/players within a composition). This happened to me many times when making everything myself so do not worry.
For example: there are uncontrolled frequencies coming from the bass guitar clashing with other layers - especially with middle frequency range of the electric 'rhythm guitar' section. So as a result it sounds as if there were at least 2 different chord progressions played simultaneously but in fact those are only 4 simple chords basically.

Just my opinion. Not sure if the problem is in actual playing or mixing. Maybe both or somewhere in between.

Apart of all that the vocals are cool and I truly appreciate the work you did with songwriting as well as the fact that you performed and mixed everything alone. Didgeridoo teaser was nice as well as stereo illusion on it and I really liked all slide guitar additions throughout.

    Greetings, Alex

    Hey,
I know what you are saying, I am hearing the clash on certain speakers that I have played this on. I will eventually go back and try to fix it after I have gave my ears a break from the track for awhile. Thanks for checking out the track.

Hey traz, no problem with the loops, I hope to have some time soon to create some new ones as well. The bass is a bit heavy, I plan on eventually going back and taming it down a little.

    hello

this is very fine and very bluesy. I am listening on poor laptop speakers now so there is not much to say in details.
I really liked what you did with EZ patterns - the slow tempo off beat sort of drumming works nicely. Interesting that you have both acoustic and electric guitars within the same composition - it is quite unusual but it really seem to work. I am going to download your song and will take a listen again later on headphones.

    Congratulations on songwriting and production.

IN Too Deep

The ashes fall, fire everywhere
The flames crawling out of control
The world is burning, don’t close your eyes now

There’s a war, the battle rages on
The good versus evil, in our own world
Follow the light, don’t bow down in our fight

Chorus:
Cause I won’t give up on you
I will keep running all the way through
The hill we gotta climb, it’s not too steep
we just can’t give up because we are in too deep

Verse 2

Well in the streets chaos everywhere
People are running, escaping the terror
Now we’re just living, out of fear

This new beginning, will make it all end
The fear you gave, is what we’re now giving
WE will all stand up, and keep on livin

My brother and I were doing some acoustic music together in my room, just having fun; came out with this; I immediately got on my DAW and recorded it before I forgot how ti went lol. Description : This is an acoustic cover of the song "Come As You Are" by David Crowder. I recorded, mixed, and mastered this one in two days! Almost done burned me out haha! Hope you enjoy!

My older brother does the lead vocals and I do everything else, from instrumentation to harmonies. No vocal-editing whatsoever in this one. The guitars were all one-take recordings. Updated the audio - I added tambourine hits in the 2nd and 3rd choruses; just helps make for a more moving song.

Description : This is my attempt at the one-hour challenge for LM (finished at 57 min 48 sec). I had to mix/master on the go and this was the result. Some bad chords here and there that I did my best to conceal, one-takes on guitar and piano and used an awesome acapella from a1000times, who wrote the words that Dikaiko sang over. Description : I put this under acoustic even though I did use a couple midi tracks. I felt they sounded acoustic enough to put the track in that category. Suppose it could be chill out as well, however you want to label it, do so. I used an Indian flute and an electric guitar sounding plugin with some tremolo added along with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Nothing too complicated here and I felt it sounded good enough to upload so enjoy!

Description : Written for Claudio's birthday (my Italian friend) in obvious waltz manner and with slight classical touch this tune appears to me almost painfully simple and minimalistic (and indeed it is)....and yet, Claudio who's very familiar with my music says that this is one of the nicest pieces of music I've ever written even if it wasn't his birthday present....well, who knows if he's right..:)^^
