Description : 'The quasars are beautiful this aeon, I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the ebb and flow of the quasar light dance.' I have always had a fascination with reversing my own tunes and slowing them down, just to see (or hear) if they still sound great. So I did just that with my latest song 'Black Hole'. I removed all drums, percussion, snares, whatever. I also move some of my synth samples around. Enjoy the moody and ambiance of Quasar.

Description : I've been rewatching a lot of John Carpenter movies and listening to the soundtracks. I've also been bingeing on 80's gothic synth pop. So I thought I'd give the genre a go. I had fun making it and added lots of different references. Please enjoy and let me know what you think, comments are always greatly appreciated :DUpdate: Levels and EQ on Vox and piano have been tweaked. 1 bar has been removed from the extro.

Description : Today's six track recording of a live song which I've been practicing for several days. I broke many of my own rules when getting this to the product it is now. Times have been rough around here, with pressure building from all sides. You can feel it in the air, and in all the people. I can only hope that after the US election, some of the pressure releases. All tracks recorded simultaneously - Vocals via my 100 Proof Microphone, Monotribe, Beatstep, two modular synth tracks (one beatstep controlled and one by my four step sequencer), Zoom RT-123, 2xKawa circuit bent drum box, Boss RV-3 reverb/delay.

Description : I decided to Delete all my old track off of looperman to make some room for some fresh stuff.I have taken a break from music for a while but just got the BUZZ again. so been out and got myself a ACCESS VIRUS-A, Roland JP-8080, and a Korg Electribe ER-1 Drum Synth Witch I love.
Does good to have a bit of mew gear from time to time even if they are Classics.
Anyway here is one of my first tracks written in Cubase 5 as Usual.

Description : Black and blue confession of a placebo recording session. Paranoia and repression - relief, exhilaration... it's all in there. Long uphill ride.This is my first serious recording of the Music Man CA34 bass we got (Bowie)... and I used my modular synth patched as an envelope filter for the bass in parts. Also it has remnants of a live looping session with my 2xKawa circuit bent drum box and a Digitech Jamman Stereo Pedal. Even did some recording with my Baldwin Fanfare organ after installing individual line outs for all the channels. And yes I sang on it.

Description : I have had this one sitting in a folder for over a year. Decided to clean it up and hopefully get some feedback. This is the only track I have done so far with real acoustic guitars. I recorded it through a microphone as it is not a Acoustic Electric. Also has Live bass and some synth added. Drums are Addictive.

Description : This track is an experimental version of the popular Hindu mantra Om Namah Shivaye, wonderfully sung by Ankit Sharda. The female background vocalist doesn't want her name mentioned in the credits.The song was created on Caustic Beta Version 3.8, and mastered on Mastering Beta Version 5; both Android apps from Single Cell Software. The new Sawsynth synthesizer in Caustic was used in the background & synth bass (paired with another bass).

Description : A deep, crystalline excursion, drenched in moments of delay and shameful pride. Electric, acoustic and bass guitars played by myself. An intro full of stretchery, with no loops being harmed or used in the making of this track. Three midi drum kits I ninety-percent programmed. (Used a few midi patterns and altered them.) Piano and a music box make an appearance, as well as a low, sustained synth played on my controller using keys and mod-wheel together. More emotive than heavy. Comments, critiques and general conversation are most welcome, as well as righteous indignation.

Description : I heard KnowKontrol's "Komplete Kontrol Main Vox" acapella and loved it so I decided to make a song using it. Its a ethereal technoish song. I also used Steelyvibe's "Hypnotize You" acapella to add texture by sending it through a reverb and then using a trancegate on the wet signal. The synth patches are from the Minimoog V and/or Sylenth1, and the drum and fx samples come from a number of sources. Thanks for listening.

Description : First attempt at Trance I feel is good enough to publish, its much harder than it sounds. I'm actually still surprised at my ability to sausage-ify my tracks without actually increasing the levels like I intend. Rip. -- Used the usual suspects of the ES2 Hybrid Synth for a majority of the sounds, with the ESX24 Sampler being used for the reverb-y Marimba effect and the 'choir' section. FM8 is also used for the Pads, and Ultrabeat for the drums. Listening back, I think the high end is a bit too loud and/or a bit too noisy, so that will be edited some time later, but other than that I don't think it was too bad for my first attempt (actually fourth, but the other 3 were not published). -- Download will be available after the contest ends (judging begins today, Tuesday 28 June).

Description : Psychedelic chillout stoner/doom epic. Badass heavy riffage and drumming plus big chillout vibes. Heavy electric guitar plus slow attack lead parts. Other beauty and ambience from filter swept violins, two synth pads and some subtle female vocal samples. Also bass guitar and sub bass.
