Description : What can i say? Maybe, I like it. Not complete yet but on a good way. A kind of minimalistic electronic trance chilly stuff. Do you think you could play some bass to it or some e-guitare or some synth? I would enjoy if you do so and share it with me. Hope you enjoy the listen.

I love this song. I would add some pads when you start singing. and then it needs a strong piano just playing ne note at a time. when i have the time, I would love to add to this one Joe. A great piece of work and very catchy as I keep thinking of it in my mind.

Thanks a lot for your gentle comment Steve.
Really good to know that you like what i have done.
I would be honored if you would take the time to compose something for this song.
Since I intend at least to resume the choral part, it would be nice if you, whatever you produce, send it me as separate steem file, so I can mix it again properly.
If you want i can send you the steems to work on/with
Very deep and interesting feeling to this song! The rhythmic elements are obviously very prominent and also quite good, but your vocals as usual steal the show and make this a song rather than just a "track."
It was interesting hearing someone reference PJ Harvey, as I can definitely hear what they mean. I would say that it is more well represented in her deeper tracks. Love and I used to listen to her various albums fairly obsessively, and very loud. It is simply a great comment to receive, from my point of view.
I hear things like this, and see the request for assistance, and I always want to get involved... then later I realize how many things I am already involved in, and I become timid. So I probably should not even bother at this time in life. I fail too often, and I don't want people to hate me (much).
I enjoyed the song a lot, and it's recorded oh so well! Fave!
Don't worry, I will never hate you. I often have the problem that I want to help and do more as I can sometimes afford.
I have not had much to do with PJ Harvey so far, but after reading the comment, I listened to a lot of them. Really good things which I like very much. And I can understand the connection between them and me well. Although there is actually no connection at all.
I am really happy to hear that you could enjoy the listen to this "song". And also that you think that the vocals work well.
If you change your mind and/or find some time anywhere, i can send you the steems from this one.
Thanks a lot for the really nice and friendly comment.
Don't worry, cause I did a listen to "Is There Anybody Out There?" and "nobody home" also to "comfortably Numb" and a few others, cause all are great songs.
thanks Joe,
i read in many comments that your track was in a kraftwerk spirit, i agree with that but it was not my own feeling when i listened to it... your voice remembered me some intonations from the wall, Pink floyd. Particularly in the tittle "comfortably Numb". Don't ask me to explain why, it's just a feeling. I listened to your track several times, and each time, i said myself: "there's something from pink floyd in this one"
be sure i will listen to it again and again, it's really a good track!
Hey Bleep,
mostly i got the connections to other music stuff much later then the listeners. Often i can't understand there feelings but i always go to youtube and do a listen to the suggestions. So i found sometimes something i never heard before and/or i listen to some (mostly) good stuff i already know and like. Same comes with this Pink Floyd feeling. I am in love with the The Wall album almost 37 years now and i am happy that you send me to youtube cause i had some nice listen. But for me Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey and so on are a number to big to be named in a row with me. For my understanding and or feeling i always just do another little Joe Cramer track.
I am delighted that you like this song so well that you have heard it several times already. So i want to say thank you for all the nice words and the feedback and time you invested.
Hello Dan,
thanks for your friendly comment.
Good to hear that you think that the vocals sounds good. I used different equipment and it looks like it worked much better.....
Nice that you could enjoy the listen.
Joe i have added a synth line to this and also a beat i will post the track here or send me your e mail and i will send the mp3 direct to you i use ableton if you want the project i can send that also. let me know what you want regards Robbie. my email is robbiespeirs@gmail.com
I am really pleased that you have made the effort and have played something new to it.
It would be absolutely great when you post it here so I can listen to and also others what you have done.
Since I still work on this piece it would be nice if you can somehow give me the two steems as wav. If these are too big for you to send, I also take mp3 files. Unfortunately, I work with Magix and not with Ableton, but I would be really happy if you can send me also the midi files.
My email is joe@joe-cramer.de
I'm really curious about what you've done Robbie and can not wait to hear it.
Joe i really enjoyed this track and listened to it more than once its different from the usual tracks here on looperman makes a refreshing change best regards Robbie.
Hello Robbie.
Good to read that you enjoyed the listen more then one time.
Being a bit different is always something good.
So thanks a lot for your friendly words
I am still in work with this one and i will sure switch the guitar to see what happend but in a way i love this little unusual sound for this kind of music.
It seems I'm the second one after our friend Silverman who smnells the reminiscences of Kraftwerk, although I'm completely taking in regard your explanation that the similarity wasn't intentional. Great work again Joe and it seems you'll be developing it further and maybe it even emerges on one of your future albums...I'm really holding my fingers cross for you to achieve that goal..:) Fave for this one !:)
Thanks for your nice comment and the fav Orlando.
May your crossed fingers bring me happiness
Good to know that you could enjoy the listen.
All I tried was to create an unusual mix between lyrics (a socially critical challenge to think) and music (a relaxed offer to dream and chill). And it turned out that it worked well.
Actually, it is not like Kraftwerk but somehow a little as in the spirit of them.
Kraftwerk definitely made the German voice THE voice for electronic music.
This is superb.
My wife came in and said it's years since we listened to Kraftwerk but I don't remember this one!
I really hope you're going to release an album one day Joe I'm sure it would sell well over here.
What a gentle comment. I didn't had this Kraftwerk connection in mind but after your comment i listen to the track again and your wife could be right. Maybe i listen to long to too much Kraftwerk music when i was a young boy.
If there is anyone around who wants to make an album with me and try to sell it, in GB or anywhere else, just call me.
Thanks for your friendly words Mr Silverman
I wish you both all the best

Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
