I've been listening to "Jumpstyle" again lately, and I always liked it, so I used some loops by sterixx and took a shot at it.
This track is far from done, but I just wanted some pointers from anyone who knows more about this kind of music. I have no idea what I'm doing, so any criticism is welcome!!!

Description : This is a Hip Hop/Rap style track I made for my cousin. You should immediately recognize the intro from the 80's song the final countdown. The lead was rearranged on Roland orchestral into a four part string ensemble. The heavy bass synth was made in Toxic. The drum pattern was a single loop cut up in Fl slicer and rearranged. The effects on the fills were made on Effectrix. Evert hing but the loop was made and arranged by me. ENJOY

Description : I made this track a couple of days ago. I decided to use some heavy bass drums and snares and this track pretty made itself. I hope you enjoy this one.
Description : Another one with more metal influence. I wanted to make a track using a very heavy natural drum kit (specifically death metal double bass drum stuff) but still keep it somewhat electronic sounding by adding in some minimal synth and a heavy bass line. I used a couple drum loops from fellow member Anchor as well as a guitar riff he did. I added in some electronic beats on top of Anchor's metal drum loop to give it a cool mix sound of natural and electronic. I only had one quick guitar riff so I tried to cut and chop that as well as adding in lots of breaks and change ups to keep the structure interesting. Anyways, thanks for listening.

Description : This tracks owes alot to the music of both Sonic Youth and Girls Against Boys, two bands that I hold in high regard. Overall the song has a Noise-Rock meets Garage-Rock feel to it. At least 3 guitar tracks on this, possibly 4, and a heavy bass track, all parts played by me except for the drums which come courtesy of an SR-16. All tracks were recorded direct to an FD8.
