Description : Nice one we got here. Features some nice heavy bass kicks, and nice synths. Can be classified as hip hop or chillout. I'm not sure. I personally like this one a lot. Enjoy

This is a solid piece of work, lots of flavour mad feel...
I like the changes and the mix is right on the mark...
As well I hear a few different guitar patterns that would
bump it up a notch, but as it stands right now it's still...
Very tastefully done...
Pretty cool little groove here. I like the basic synth and drum theme you've created here. I think the funky bass thing around the 2 min and 2:45 mark could definitely be changed to something more suited to the track. I like the subtle piano part late in the track, gives a nice variation. Could probably afford to make the high frequencies a bit more gentle, but that's just personal preference. Nice song!
Much appreciated man! I am glad you liked what I made. The bass arp is very funny. It's the most talked about thing in the track. Very few like it, while others weren't really feeling it. I suppose I'll edit it someone one day. Same for some other adjustments. Thanks again!
I appreciate your comment. The intro was intended for a pretty simple sound, for a gradual and increasing sounds from other vsts. I'm glad you liked the beat ultimately though!
hi Ookami, I like when it really gets funky from about 1:46. Very good chilled and relaxing vibes. I like that.
I think you can get much better results simply applying eq effect to synths in here to find their proper place in the mix. I say that because some parts seem like they do not fit in harmonics to the rest but that also depends on the type of synths you're using.
It can be a nice way to go around a 'cheap electronic' kind of sound.
Overall it works nicely as a chillout. I really enjoyed listening to this lovely track.
Best, Alex
Thank you for your comment man. I'll be sure to add and adjust some Eq's for future purposes. I usually don't meddle with anything that's on a preset. But I'll need to get out of my comfort zone soon enough. Thanks again!
I think the reason the bass arp "doesn't" work is because it feels too "loose" with the timing. Just a hair too loose. I think tightening the arp will fix it up nicely. It'll work, in my opinion, if it's not so up towards the front of the mix and is a little tighter in the time.
I intended for the bass arp to be loose. I thought it gave it a different feel to the track. Everything seemed to flow all good, then the bass arp added a bit of a funk-like feel to it y'know? But bleh, I accept it as a no-no. Thanks for your comment!
Stunning piece right here with huge and awesome tune choose but those bass arps are really out of the song...bit electro and movie soundtrack feeling on it too...
I appreciate your comment man. I had a lot of fun with this track, and the bass arps were just me playing around, seeing what works and what wouldn't. I thought it gave a bit of a different feel, but perhaps I didn't think it through. Thanks again, man!
Loved the intro with a cool lead, and equally Loved the beat programming, simple yet powerful. Good Choice of all the elements here, just the bass arp didnt work for me much, nice fall @02:04..
Thanks EB for your comment. This track was a rather interesting one. I've never thought about having a Chill-out and hip hop go together like this. I'm glad it turned out alright, and that bass arp was experimentive for me. I thought it had come out very different, but perhaps it's overshot a bit, huh? Thanks again!

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
