Has some nice deep house (Not too much trance in my opinion) elements I like. Chilled out in nature with the pads and echo heavy vocals. Like the drums at the 3 min mark, the vocals toward the 4 min mark fit very well. Guitars are very good too, excellent work. peace

This is a pretty cool little piece. I love the chill beginning, the guitars that come in at 2:03 are a nice touch and introduce themselves at the right time. They mix well with the funky-ass drums that come in at 3:27. It's a good way to start building tension for the end.
    Now, about that...
If I may make a suggestion, or two.
At 4:44, the transition to the metal drums is a bit harsh. It's like they weren't invited and just stepped on the party. Granted, that's the entire nature of metal, but I don't think that was the intended purpose in this track.
What I would do, and this is just me, so take it or leave it, but I would completely cut out 4:44-5:07 and replace it with a copy of what you have at 1:24-1:47. That way it drops out and has room to breath, and also serves as a separation from the funky-ass drums, as well as a good build back up to the metal riff that starts at 5:07. Immediately drop in some of the male vocals at that point to keep it tied to the beginning, and flowing nicely. Keep those vocals going in the background until the end of the track. They have a great rhythmic value to them that can serve as a glue to hold the two contrasting dynamics together. Utilize them for all they're worth!
Again, I'm just some dude and that's just my opinion and what I would do with it. Take it for what it's worth!

None the less, I still enjoyed it as it is!
    Take care.
    V.

i dig the vibes in this a lot and there is something awesome catchy about the trippy frackin vocals going on. it's like i'm meltin down on psychadelics in a nice place during a lovely day. very cool. this could do well in a lot of ways, on the radio, in a movie, and more. well done.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : I wrote this song some time ago when I was living in Florida. It's even more true today.

Vocals by Arthur Granquist, guitar by the great Kevin Lysen, drums by Marc Karmatz, also the recording engineer.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.
