Description : Hey guys this is a new experimental track that I made using a recording of me playing guitar. It turned into something of a chill/tropical/deep house mashup. I think its a really unique sound that I can call my own, and hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Description : It's been a while since I posted anything original, and the reason is I've been spending tons of time between this song and my guitar build. Both were started and finished virtually simultaneously. This song is hard to describe... those who know Spivkurl will recognize my style in this, but I have tried to take things bit further composition wise in this one. It's a bit pop for me, but oh well. All basses originated on my modular synth. Vocals are all me. Please let me know what you think! Description : Updated /18/12/2014 :fix someting, I added few brass, updated the "guitar riff" and change some transition.Hope this is better.A another epic cinematic track.There are a lot of ##### work behind that tune. To celebrate the progression I do this years this track combine most of the elements of my previous prototypes : a epic drum beat (tournament),some panning effect (unstable waves)and more. Also in this tune there are 2 loops from here so thanks for 40A for the 1:58 choirs and jaceziii for the "brass french horn". I hope the title fit very well with this music!! btw tune are always better when you fully lisent it. like tournament I have some kind of surprise at 2:16 min. Just for fun I want to know which movie genre this tune can fit. like tournament comments I was able to make a little story and I enjoyed that :D

The track is a bit minimal and I've tried to allow the multi layered vocals shine and not be over cluttered with much else. Percussion is Superior Drummer (using brushes instead of sticks), bass is a Sterling Sub 4 (a recent acquisition) played in live with an attempt at some funky slap stuff in the last chorus (tricky!) Guitar solo is my trusty Godin XTSA on the acoustic setting. Keyboard is a patch from Logic X.
So good to be working with this quality of vocal. Thanks Farisha.

Description : I usually do retro styles, but I found a great vocal track from an excellent artist, so thought I'd try something different and compose an instrumental track around it. It is an alternative or indie style track, so hopefully I did the backing for the vocals justice. My friend and collaborator, James (midiman007), did the wonderful guitar tracks...Thanks James. Description : Here's a collab I made with cool guy who goes by Bell Rosen. He's an interesting guy with an amazing way of instrumentation that I'm not used to. His structure with the acoustic guitar with my structure of general instrumentation made this interesting combination. I will surely try to bring him in this site ASAP to demonstrate his unique styles. Oddly, he is in the same state as me, yet in a completely different time zone. This track was incredible to make. I'm not sure what the genre would be, so considering it has different possibilities, I'll list it as fusion, which would consist of what some fellow loopers call Celtic, Jazz, and New Age. What do you guys think?

Description : Bassy jazzy hiphop track with some kickin' lyrics by looperman's SteelCityRed. Megapaul supplied the guitar track and I mixed it up a bit. Everything else is original and I'm pretty happy with how the project turned out. Slow buildup, short verse, smooth outro (That I could very easily turn in to a second verse if I had some lyrics for it). Much respect goes out to SteelCityRed

Description : Chillout, funky fat 95 BPM organic electro led by some fun, tinkly arps. A bit of an organic, tribal feel, especially when the flutes are playing, and some fat smooth synth basses, plus a big fuzzy one later on as the track gets bigger and heavier. Slide resonator guitar in the second half, including a dual slide resonator solo (2 different resonators playing simultaneously sort of duelling with each other). A few drum loops but mostly 3 programmed acoustic kits. The heavy, double time drumming before the flutes return around 3:53 may be a bit unnecessary (I'm not sure, let me know). Interesting reflections, praise, suggestions and criticisms welcome and appreciated. "Nice track bro"-ers can save that unhelpful type of comment for another track (or 50). I hope listening to this transports you to a magical place, even if it is for only a few minutes...The guitar tunes tracks and mixes listed here are copyright and may not be used in your projects.
